Bruce Cyra is an Attorney in our Seattle office, representing victims across Washington State who have been injured by the negligence of others. He has worked as a plaintiff personal injury attorney in Washington since 2013, with prior experience in Nevada and Seattle, starting out prosecuting and defending evictions, and representing others with will contests to domestic violence. In Nevada, Bruce spent many years representing home and condo owners in their fight to fix their shoddily built homes; back in Seattle he worked on child sex abuse cases involving priests, defended subcontractors from claims by general contractors, as well as gaining experience in contract and intellectual property claims. Since returning to Washington in 2013, Bruce has successfully pursued claims by victims of accidents and negligence, achieving justice for those injured by motor vehicles, on bicycles, by dog attacks, as well as premises liability claims such as trip and falls.

Douglas Applegate serves as of counsel to The Ledger Law Firm. Mr. Applegate is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, Texas, Maryland and Virginia. Mr. Applegate is a seasoned trial lawyer with over twenty-eight years of experience, graduating Arizona State School of Law in 1979 (Magna Cum Laude), after attending the Naval Justice School as an Honors Graduate. He first practiced with the Attorney Emery Ledger when he served as Lead Counsel in the landmark case, The United States of America vs. Jose Nazario. Since Mr. Nazario's acquittal after jury verdict in 2008, Mr. Applegate has maintained on ongoing of counsel relationship with the firm handling its complex civil litigation. Mr. Applegate has worked throughout the United States as a trial attorney handling personal injury, wrongful death, business disputes, real property matters, and medical malpractice. He additionally served as a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserves (retired), in the Judge Advocate General's Corps following law school serving years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.
