Brian Cohen

Brian began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1981, for the investment management firm Neuberger Berman. From 1987-1990, Brian left the investment field to open a retail business, and then sold it in 1990, to return to the world of investments. Brian joined Charles Schwab & Company, for 10 years starting in 1991, and within two years had been promoted to Branch Manager. He was the manager in Islandia, Melville, Massapequa, and Jericho, and personally handled high net worth clients. Brian was one of 6 managers nationwide (of 350+) selected to manage a new initiative, Schwab "Signature Services" specifically designed to serve the highest net worth individuals. Brian managed two offices ranked among Top 20% for Customer Service by client surveys (Islandia and Melville branches), and was awarded in 1997 top branch in the country for Customer Service. He was also a Chairman's Club winner for recognition of top 10% results, as well as a Charles Schwab spokesperson for local print, radio and television coverage. Brian was recruited to be the Investment Center Manager and eventual Eastern Regional Director of HarrisDirect (formerly known as DLJdirect and CSFBdirect). He was personally involved in working with high net worth individuals, as well as small business and institutional clients. Brian left to join Fidelity Investments as the Branch Manager of the Garden City office, before managing the Huntington office for 4 years, and then the Flatiron branch. Looking to return to work on Long Island, Brian joined HSBC as Branch Manager in 2011, and then desiring to work directly with clients' investment needs, was hired by Wells Fargo as a Private Banker. Brian joined Core-X Wealth Management, LLC in 2013 as a Principal and Investment Advisor. In 2014, Core-X Wealth Management, LLC completed a merger with Landmark Wealth Management, LLC. Brian currently serves as a firm Principal as well as Wealth Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer. Brian attended the University at Buffalo majoring in Business Administration. He has held Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 55, 63, and 65, and NYS Health and Life Insurance licenses. Brian has served since 2001 as a Member of FINRA's Board of Arbitrators. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and has resided in Greenlawn, NY since 1994 with his wife Debbie, their two daughters, Amanda and Rebecca, and poodle/shih-tzu, Buddy.

James J. Millington

Jim has been an active member of the Financial Planning Association since 2002 and held the position of the Government Relations Director. In addition, he was also the Career Development Director where he served as a mentor to CFP® certificate candidates by teaching and proctoring review classes to prepare them for the CFP® exam. He has been invited to numerous engagements to speak on various different financial topics including, but not limited to, banking and lending, retirement planning, investment planning and annuities. Jim joined Landmark to partner with clients and help understand their short and long-term goals while assisting them in building a financial plan that is more personally customized to meet their needs. One of Jim's top priorities is forming strong relationships with our clients and their families as he works hard to maintain a deep level of trust, reliability, and competency. Jim currently resides in Smithtown, New York with his wife Suzanne, and their two children Zachary and Hannah.

Joseph M. Favorito

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 2006 (www.cfp.net/), Joseph began his career in the financial services field in 1997. Over the course of more than two decades Joseph has worked for several New York stock exchange members including American Express, Waterhouse Securities and Fidelity Investments in various wealth management roles. Joseph has been interviewed about his expertise on various wealth management topics by a number of media publications including NY Newsday, US News & World Report, MarketWatch, Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Kiplinger, Forbes, GoBankingRates.com and Business Insider. In 2011, he founded Landmark Wealth Management LLC, a Securities Exchange Commission registered investment advisor. He currently serves as one of the firm's three managing principals. Over the years he has counseled families, small business owners and charitable foundations on issues related to retirement planning, investment management, insurance, estate planning strategies, and tax efficient investment strategies. In addition to earning his CFP® designation, he has held FINRA licenses series 7, series 9, series 10, series 63 and series 66. He has also been a licensed agent in both New York and Florida for health insurance, life insurance and variable annuities. In addition, Joseph is currently an active member of the Financial Planning Association's Long Island Chapter (www.fpanet.org/chapters/longisland). In his spare time Joseph enjoys coaching little league baseball, and is a registered coach with USA Boxing. Joseph currently resides in Mount Sinai New York with his wife Lisa and their two children.
