Starting by learning through the possibility of mobile market for a while and gathering the academic of hospitality major and business administration from Malaysia, plus the 6 years working experience in role of Customer Services and Finance at Siam Commercial Bank, Mr. Montry Luangpraseuth commenced only the business with mobile wholesales without shop. Since 2001, the shop was established under the name "Lane Xang Phone" ran by three staff only. During that time, the purpose of business is only to sell the mobiles. But, due to our orientation of customer satisfaction and differentiation of service, the numbers of customers have rapidly increased which leaded the shop to expand then official opened by new corporate name as "Lao Mobile" on 1st June 2002. After that, there were significant demands on mobile from provinces. Lao Mobile decided establishing the branch in Champasack province in 2004, then in Savannakhet in 2006.
