Ashley Miller

Ashley Miller came to Lee-Ellena in 2021 to start working as a greeter for the funeral home. After a few months she worked her way up to being the front desk receptionist. She plans on attending a mortuary science program in the future to one day become a funeral director to live out her dream of being able to help people when they need it the most. In her free time Ashley enjoys painting and enjoying the outdoors.

Kimberly Morton

Job Titles:
  • Embalmer and Licensed Funeral Director
Kimberly Morton is a 2017 graduate of the Wayne State University Mortuary Science program. She became a part of the Lee-Ellena Funeral Home team in 2014, where she started as a nighttime greeter, welcoming families during visitations. She later became a full-time member of the team as one of our funeral directors and embalmers. As a funeral director, Kim enjoys working closely with her families that she serves, by creating memorable and personalized funeral services for them. Outside the funeral home, Kim enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.

Skylar Finkey-Verscheuren

Skylar Finkey-Verscheuren graduated from Wayne State University in 2017 with a bachelors of science in psychology and later graduated from Wayne States Mortuary Science program in 2020. She joined Lee-Ellena in 2021, and she enjoys working with families to give them the best experience possible. Outside the funeral home, Skylar enjoys spending time with her dog, Bowie, and camping with her family.

Thomas Sexton

Job Titles:
  • Operations and Building
Tom first came to Lee-Ellena Funeral Home to arrange for his father's funeral services in 2009. At that time he was retired from Delphi as a logistics manager. Those skills, plus his earlier funeral home work experience, made a perfect match and Tom joined Lee-Ellena in 2010. Tom wears many hats, from overseeing the building and grounds operations to driving the hearse, assisting at visitation and overseeing operations when Sarah is out of town.
