Lavey Insurance Agency is a family-owned and operated insurance agency that was established in the early 30's. We are an independent insurance agency serving the local Pinckney and Hamburg communities, as well as Livingston, Washtenaw and Ingham counties and also have customers throughout the State of Michigan. The Lavey Insurance Agency is a family owned and operated (3rd generation) insurance agency that was established in the early 30's by Lee Lavey, in a very unusual manner. Back then, Lee owned the Lavey Hardware store on Main Street, which he had recently opened. This was during the "Great Depression".
