ALLISON PLESUR

Allison Plesur is a graduate of the New York State School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University and New York Law School. Ms. Plesur represents employees as well as employers in a wide range of both employment and labor matters. Ms. Plesur has lectured extensively to groups of employers and employees regarding employment rights. Ms. Plesur co-authored What Supervisors Need To Know About Sexual Harassment, an award-winning online training program. She also co-authored A Call For Brightlines To Fix The Fair Labor Standards Act, Hofstra Labor Law Journal, Volume 2, Number 2, Spring, 1994.

David A. Robins

David A. Robins attended the University of Pennsylvania and New York University School of Law. Mr. Robins represents employees and employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. He is a contributing editor for the treatise Estimating and Proving Damages In Employment Cases. He also co-authored a sexual harassment article entitled: Court's Harassment Rulings Provide Ammunition for Both Sides for the New York Law Journal.

Douglas Weiner

Douglas Weiner has worked with us since 2015. He is now working on designated special assignments for the firm. He has over 40 years of wage and hour experience, both in prosecution and defense. From 1978 through 2008 he worked for the United States Department of Labor, New York Regional Solicitor's Office. He won many awards as the lead prosecutor of the Department's most significant wage-hour cases in New York and New Jersey. He received his J.D. from Villanova Law School, his B.A. from Swarthmore College and is admitted to the federal courts of New York and New Jersey. In 2004 the Solicitor of Labor presented Mr. Weiner with the U.S. DOL's National Award for Excellence in Trial Litigation. He is a nine time recipient of the Department's Exceptional Achievement Award for positive results in wage-hour litigation.

ROBERT D. LIPMAN

Robert D. Lipman manages the Jericho, New York office of Lipman & Plesur, LLP. He attended the New York State School of Industrial & Labor Relations at Cornell University and Buffalo Law School. Mr. Lipman has lectured and written extensively on employment-related matters. Mr. Lipman has lectured for the Federal Bar Council at the Continuing Legal Education Program on Employment Law for Federal Law Clerks. He has also lectured at programs sponsored by Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the American Bar Association, the New York Chapter of the American Trial Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers' Association. Mr. Lipman co-authored What Supervisors Need To Know About Sexual Harassment, an award-winning online training program. He also co-authored A Call For Brightlines To Fix The Fair Labor Standards Act, Hofstra Labor Law Journal, Volume 2, Number 2, Spring, 1994. Mr. Lipman was also a contributor to the ABA/BNA Fair Labor Standards Act treatise. Mr. Lipman has represented both employers and employees in a wide range of employment matters.
