Greg Swenson - CFO

Our resident numbers guy, Greg brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and general management. He has a wealth of experience leading financial, operational, and strategic, functions for institutions large and small. Greg's professional experience spans legal & regulatory, e-commerce, consumer packaged goods, high tech manufacturing, and Big 4 accounting. He combines a willingness to roll up his sleeves to drill into tactical issues with a strategic vision to deliver results over the long term. He earned a MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson school of management graduating Magna Cum Laude. Greg holds a J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He is also a licensed certified public accountant. In his spare time, Greg enjoys family time on the water and racing - skiing in the winter and cars in the summer. He is also a high performance driving instructor training people ranging from prospective race car drivers to law enforcement personnel.

James Seidl - Founder, President

Jim Seidl is President and co-founder of Legal Research Center, Inc. His primary responsibilities include customer, business, product, and service development. He is also responsible for business planning, strategic partnerships, and Governance, Risk & Compliance thought leadership for LRC. Jim serves as relationship manager to National Association of REALTORS®. He has managed strategic alliances and preferred supplier relationships with the Association of Corporate Counsel; Thomson West/Reuters; American Association of Justice; National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; Integrity Interactive; Commercial Law Affiliates; Risk Enterprise Management; Heller Financial; FMC Technologies; Decision Strategies International; Eli Lilly, among others. He has served as State Chair of the Council on Litigation Management, and on the boards of many legal and charitable organizations, including Open Legal Standards Initiative; Law & Politics Media; Templeton & Associates; Novus Law; Managing Litigation as a Business; and Priyanka Foundation. A graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Jim has produced many articles and publications on best practices in legal research management, strategic partnering, and legal process outsourcing. Jim is passionate about the care of abandoned and abused animals, and co-founded Friends of Flicka Foundation.

Kevin L. Ritchey - CEO

Kevin Ritchey is the CEO of Legal Research Center, Inc., and oversees the business and its divisions, including LegalResearch.com, Miller/Davis, and Click Industries. He is most recognized as a visionary and innovator of information, software & services businesses both in the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and the Business Law & Litigation sectors. Kevin's professional experience spans over twenty-five years in the legal & regulatory market, building and acquiring growth businesses from start-up to market leadership on a global basis. Specifically, his GRC experience encompasses Board Governance, SEC Compliance, and regulatory compliance in highly-regulated industries such as Financial Services, Energy/Environmental, Insurance, and Healthcare. In Legal, his experience includes global M&A, Securities and Corporate Finance Law, as well as Complex Litigation. Kevin holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and has completed global leadership programs at the Tuck School of Management, Dartmouth and at The Center for Creative Leadership. He is a Technical Patent author, an IMMY and Telly Award winner, and recipient of both a ThomsonReuters President's Award and a Special Achievement Award. In addition to his work with the Legal Research Center, Kevin serves as a strategic advisor, investor and Board member for several businesses and non-profits. In his spare time, he enjoys working with volunteers on Environment & Sustainability causes.

Kristen Letich

Kristen Letich oversees commercial operations for Litigation & Compliance research, analysis, and drafting solutions for LegalResearch.com. Kristen holds significant litigation & regulatory compliance experience in contract law, worker's compensation, healthcare, real estate, unfair business practices, and employment law, and authors authoritative briefs, pleadings, memoranda, and regulatory compliance reports. Kristen is also responsible for managing business development for Litigation Partner and supervises the LegalResearch.com national business development team. Kristen Letich graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in Business Law. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Mazen Haddad - CTO

Mazen Haddad brings over thirty years of varied Information Technology experience to LRC's customers. Mr. Haddad's professional accomplishments include leading IT organizations, managing software development organizations, and architecting and designing software and hardware solutions, as well as hands-on software development. Mr. Haddad spent the last twenty years focusing on legal software and ways to improve the use of technology in the legal market space. Prior to joining LRC, he managed the software development organization for King & Spalding, one of largest law firms in the US, where he focused on building legal practice systems, Extranets, and knowledge management solutions for the firm and its clients. Earlier, Mr. Haddad was on the frontier of Internet/Intranet development while working for MCI WorldCom. Mr. Haddad holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. In his spare time, Mr. Haddad enjoys woodworking.

Randall Holbrook

Randy Holbrook, Managing Director - GRC and General Counsel, oversees LegalResearch.com's corporate and compliance services for general counsel and compliance professionals. Randy holds over 30 years of legal research & writing and practice experience covering both regulatory compliance and litigation issues on a state, local and national basis. Randy's areas of specialization include real estate, insurance, healthcare, and environment, and he serves as a primary domain lead for the company's thought leadership and strategic growth initiatives. Randy is a native of Minnesota. He is a graduate of St. John's College in Annapolis, MD, and graduated cum laude from Hamline University School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) in St. Paul. While in law school, he was a member of the Law Review and Honor Society. After graduation, Randy served as a law clerk for the Ninth District Court in northwestern Minnesota. He has also worked as an attorney in private practice, and as counsel for a group of agricultural lenders. Randy lives in Minneapolis with his wife Beth and his youngest son Tristan. He is an aspiring mandolin player, and a recreational language learner.
