Legend Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited was originally established in 1992 as Inisa Community Bank Limited - a Limited Liability concern with Registration Certificate number 205591. The company was established to carry out grassroots banking business within Odo-Otin Local Government Area of Osun State... In 2017, Legend Microfinance Bank became the first unit Microfinance bank to roll out ATM cards for it's customer usage... Thereafter, a federal policy change, which re-categorized microfinance banks to three (namely National, State, and Unit Microfinance Banks) came into force. We, as a Unit Microfinance Bank was therefore restrained to operate external branches outside our immediate local government but alternatively allowed to run agency business arrangements in any chosen community to drive our rural outreach and financial inclusion programmes. This is principally aimed at ensuring sound monitoring and efficiency.
