Alexander H. Getman

Alex Getman is an associate in LGC's San Diego office. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. During law school, he was a member of San Diego Law Review and completed externships with District Court Judge Sammartino and with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office. He also competed in USD's first year Mock Trial competition where his team achieved first place. Mr. Getman received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Channel Islands in 2014. Gene E. Royce

Gene Royce is an attorney in the San Diego office, where his focus involves handling all types of civil cases. These cases include representing developers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Katie C. Brach

Katie C. Loren S. Young

Mr. Young is the Managing Partner for the law firm Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos in Nevada and has a wide-ranging trial and binding arbitration experience and practices law in both State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Nevada. In addition to his trial work, he has taken part in several appeals, involving oral arguments at the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Young is Admitted to practice law at Nevada State Bar; Nevada Federal Court; 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; and The United States Supreme Court. Mr. Young handles various personal injury and construction defect cases, specializing in product defect and premises liability, as well as representing clients at the appellate level resulting in the published opinion of GMC v. Ted Cercos is a founding partner of LGC's California and Nevada offices. A native of San Francisco, he graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1977 and was enshrined in its Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. He attended the University of California at Davis for his undergraduate and legal education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Spanish in 1982 and earned his J.D. in 1986. Mr. Cercos joined Lincoln & Gustafson in 1988 and became partner in 1992. Thomas J. Lincoln

Mr. Lincoln is a founding partner of the California and Nevada offices. After graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law, Mr. Lincoln was a prosecutor for the City of San Diego for approximately one year. During that time, he gained extensive jury trial experience. In addition, he acted as instructor for new trial attorneys within the City Attorney's Office. After leaving the City Attorney's Office, Mr. Lincoln worked for the law firm of McCormick & Royce. Mr. Lincoln left the law firm of McCormick & Royce in 1984 and formed his own law firm. Mr. Lincoln has had extensive trial experience. He has tried over 50 jury trials. In addition to his trial work, he has taken part in a number of published appeals, including Standard Pacific of San Diego v. A.A. Baxter Corp. (1986) 176 Cal.App.3d. 577. He was lead trial counsel for the leading construction defect case Aas v. Superior Court/William Lyon Comp. 24 Cal.4th 627. Mr. Lincoln has acted as a Pro Tem Judge and as an arbitrator for the San Diego Superior Court. He has been chosen as an arbitrator and was the sole arbitrator on over 150 matters for the San Diego Superior Court and privately. He provides expert witness services for legal malpractice and fee issues. Mr. Lincoln taught Civil Litigation and Ethics at the University of San Diego in the paralegal studies program for 5 years. He has lectured on a variety of topics including litigating traumatic brain injury claims, mediation, fee issues, construction defects, indemnity issues and ethics. He is a frequent speaker at the West Coast Seminar and was honored with winning the Larry Syhre Award in 2001 for providing education and ethics to the profession. Mr. Lincoln has authored and published a number of articles on ethics and other issues. Mr. Lincoln is active in the community by acting as General Counsel for the San Diego Tourism Authority, Autism Society of San Diego, and others. He also served as a board member, President and legal counsel for Temple Emanuel. He has been appointed by the Mayor of San Diego to the Citizens Review Board for the San Diego Police Department and the Ethics Commission of San Diego. Mr. Lincoln's current practice is focused on general civil litigation (product defect, personal injury, corporate disputes, employment, trust and wills, construction defect, business disputes), advising clients on all aspect of business formation and business legal issues and acting as an expert/consultant on legal malpractice and fee issues and mediating disputes.
