Alex Getman is an associate in LGC's San Diego office. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2019. During law school, he was a member of San Diego Law Review and completed externships with District Court Judge Sammartino and with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office. He also competed in USD's first year Mock Trial competition where his team achieved first place.
Mr. Getman received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Channel Islands in 2014. While at Channel Islands, he was a member of the student body lobbying organization and competed in CSUCI's Speech and Debate Tournament, achieving first place and the Outstanding Speaker award.

Amanda Bremseth has been with LGC's San Diego office since 2008. Ms. Bremseth has worked as an associate since May 2015, and prior to that as a paralegal with the firm since October 2008. Born and raised in San Diego, Ms. Bremseth earned her J.D. at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and obtained her undergraduate degree at San Diego State University. While at San Diego State, Ms. Bremseth rowed for the school's crew team as a member of the Varsity Lightweight Eight. Gabriella Burden is an associate in LGC's San Diego office. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2018. During law school, Ms. Burden competed in the USD Alumni Moot Court Competition, where she was a semi-finalist and also received the Third-Place Overall Oralist Award.
Ms. Burden studied Political Science and Philosophy at San Diego State University, and graduated cum laude in 2014. While at San Diego State, she was a member of SDSU's first-ever Ethics Bowl team and competed in a national tournament. Ms. Burden‘s practice is focused primarily on personal injury, construction defect, and general civil litigation.

Gene Royce is an attorney in the San Diego office, where his focus involves handling all types of civil cases. These cases include representing developers, general contractors, and subcontractors. He has also handled personal injury, patent, copyright, and trademark cases. He has tried to a conclusion over 100 Superior Court jury trials and has served as an arbitrator and mediator in personal injury, construction, and intellectual property cases. A San Diego native, Jessica Rowland is an attorney in LGC's San Diego office, where her broad civil litigation practice focuses on premises liability, personal injury, product liability, insurance coverage, business/corporate, and contract disputes in both state and federal courts. Ms. Rowland advises clients on negotiation and administration of commercial leases and contracts, and development, analysis, and negotiation of consulting and non-disclosure agreements.
Ms. Rowland graduated from the University of San Diego in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and extended coursework in Mathematics. After completing three years of corporate employment in statistical analysis and financial aid management, Ms. Rowland pursued her legal education at the University Of San Diego School Of Law, graduating in 1989. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the bar of the United States Supreme Court and is admitted to practice in all California state courts, the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of California and before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jordan Nager is a partner in the San Diego office, where his practice focuses mainly on litigation, including personal injury, premises and products liability, defamation, bad faith, contract disputes, commercial litigation, and insurance coverage. In addition, he represents residential and commercial developers and contractors in all areas of complex construction defect litigation, and advises those clients on contractual and insurance coverage issues. Karissa K. Mack is a partner in LGC's Las Vegas office, where her practice focuses mostly on litigation, including personal injury, premise liability, contract law and construction law. Born and raised in southern Oregon, Mrs. Mack earned her Bachelor Degree from Oregon State University in Political Science. Katie C. Brach's practice focuses mostly on defense of developers and general contractors in complex civil litigation, including construction defect, personal injury, premises liability, bad faith, and contract disputes. In addition, Ms. Brach advises contactor and developer clients on preventive construction practices, including the drafting of contracts, the purchasing of insurance, contract negotiations and coverage issues. Ms. Brach also has experience at the appellate level, having successfully briefed and argued cases before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit United States Court of Appeals.
Ms. Brach received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2008, where she competed nationally on the University of San Diego Mock Trial Team. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from The George Washington University in 2003 in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Geosciences. Mr. Young is the Managing Partner for the law firm Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos in Nevada and has a wide-ranging trial and binding arbitration experience and practices law in both State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Nevada. In addition to his trial work, he has taken part in several appeals, involving oral arguments at the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Young is Admitted to practice law at Nevada State Bar; Nevada Federal Court; 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; and The United States Supreme Court. Mr. Young handles various personal injury and construction defect cases, specializing in product defect and premises liability, as well as representing clients at the appellate level resulting in the published opinion of GMC v. The Eighth Judicial Dist. Court of Nev., 134 P.3d 111, 122 Nev. Adv. Rep. 41.
As a son of an Air Force Veteran, Mr. Young was born in Agana Heights, Guam in the Mariana Islands, and has lived in various locations throughout his life prior to settling in Las Vegas. Mr. Young attended Weber State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Business Logistics and continued at Washburn University School of Law earning a JD with Deans' Honors. Mr. Young started his legal career at Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos, becoming Managing Partner of the Nevada Office in 2013.
Mr. Young has enjoyed helping with the Clark County Bar Association's school tours and law education programs, volunteering for the UNLV Law School oral presentations, a sponsor and advocate of the "We the People" initiative in local schools, and Certified Mentor for the Nevada State Bar's Transitioning Into Practice (TIP) program for new lawyers, and with a most recent appointment by Governor Joe Lombardo to the Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB). Mr. Young is a Founding Member and former President and Chairman of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers. Mr. Young is an AV-Preeminent rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubble, voted 2013 Top Lawyers by Best of the Best, voted 2020 Top 100 Lawyers in Las Vegas, and named 2017 Lawyer of the Year. As a father of five boys and husband to a wonderful wife, Mr. Young has enjoyed participating in the local little leagues serving as the Vice President of the Mountain Ridge Little League Baseball organization as well as a Unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Young has been actively involved with the Nevada State Legislature, providing position papers and testimony at hearings on various topics. Mr. Young is a Court approved arbitrator for the Nevada State arbitration program and appointed to the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure Committee charged with updating, revising, and drafting the Rules of Civil Procedure. Mr. Young has dedicated his legal career to civil defense litigation work serving our local community and businesses.

Mr. Gustafson is a founding partner of the California and Nevada offices, and has recently helped establish our new office in Arizona. Born in Moline, Illinois, Mr. Gustafson received a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1981 and a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1984. He has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Gustafson handled the landmark appeal on corporate liability in a products liability context in Pacific Scene, Inc. v. Penasquitos, Inc. Ms. Splaine is a partner in our Nevada office. A Philadelphia native, Ms. Splaine attended the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1997. Ms. Splaine then received her J.D. from Pennsylvania's Duquesne University in 2000 and began practicing law in Philadelphia the same year. Ms. Splaine moved to Las Vegas in 2002 and has worked with LGC since 2004. Ms. Splaine practices in the area of civil litigation and is licensed in both Pennsylvania and Nevada. Ted Cercos is a founding partner of LGC's California and Nevada offices. A native of San Francisco, he graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1977 and was enshrined in its Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989. He attended the University of California at Davis for his undergraduate and legal education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Spanish in 1982 and earned his J.D. in 1986.
Mr. Cercos joined Lincoln & Gustafson in 1988 and became partner in 1992. He has tried cases throughout California and Nevada. He has worked closely with long-term clients in developing quality assurance programs and refining risk management practices. He has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Lincoln is a founding partner of the California and Nevada offices. After graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law, Mr. Lincoln was a prosecutor for the City of San Diego for approximately one year. During that time, he gained extensive jury trial experience. In addition, he acted as instructor for new trial attorneys within the City Attorney's Office. After leaving the City Attorney's Office, Mr. Lincoln worked for the law firm of McCormick & Royce. Mr. Lincoln left the law firm of McCormick & Royce in 1984 and formed his own law firm.
Mr. Lincoln has had extensive trial experience. He has tried over 50 jury trials. In addition to his trial work, he has taken part in a number of published appeals, including Standard Pacific of San Diego v. A.A. Baxter Corp. (1986) 176 Cal.App.3d. 577. He was lead trial counsel for the leading construction defect case Aas v. Superior Court/William Lyon Comp. 24 Cal.4th 627.
Mr. Lincoln has acted as a Pro Tem Judge and as an arbitrator for the San Diego Superior Court. He has been chosen as an arbitrator and was the sole arbitrator on over 150 matters for the San Diego Superior Court and privately. He provides expert witness services for legal malpractice and fee issues.
Mr. Lincoln taught Civil Litigation and Ethics at the University of San Diego in the paralegal studies program for 5 years. He has lectured on a variety of topics including litigating traumatic brain injury claims, mediation, fee issues, construction defects, indemnity issues and ethics. He is a frequent speaker at the West Coast Seminar and was honored with winning the Larry Syhre Award in 2001 for providing education and ethics to the profession. Mr. Lincoln has authored and published a number of articles on ethics and other issues.
Mr. Lincoln is active in the community by acting as General Counsel for the San Diego Tourism Authority, Autism Society of San Diego, and others. He also served as a board member, President and legal counsel for Temple Emanuel. He has been appointed by the Mayor of San Diego to the Citizens Review Board for the San Diego Police Department and the Ethics Commission of San Diego.
Mr. Lincoln's current practice is focused on general civil litigation (product defect, personal injury, corporate disputes, employment, trust and wills, construction defect, business disputes), advising clients on all aspect of business formation and business legal issues and acting as an expert/consultant on legal malpractice and fee issues and mediating disputes. Mr. Lincoln is a credentialed mediator and has completed the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution course (40 hours) at Pepperdine School of Law.
