Alan King

Alan King was born and raised in WV and has had an interest in money and accounting from an early age. Sidetracked by the allure of the newly introduced Radio Shack home computer while in high school, he started a long, successful career in Information Technology. He was able to rekindle that initial interest in the financial world with an exciting opportunity to join LifeTime Asset Management as an apprentice, planner's assistant, and technology expert. In the time Alan has been here, he's earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017. Alan currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Wealth Consultant with LifeTime Asset Management. Alan finished high school at the top of his class and was graduated summa cum laude with a B. S. degree in Computer Science from West Virginia University Institute of Technology. Following graduation he moved to Research Triangle Park, NC and started a career in the IT industry working for two international leaders in telecommunications. His focus was on implementing complex solutions for mission critical telephone systems for high profile corporate and military customers. He was an expert in computer security analysis and certification. Alan has a long-term, client relationship with LifeTime Asset Management and is fully committed to the goals that clients can work towards with a long-term, disciplined, diversified approach to financial confidence. He is excited to learn and grow in this new opportunity and looks forward to unlocking the potential in all of our clients. Alan lives in Raleigh with his wife, Susan, and enjoys gardening, cooking, home improvement projects, golf/tennis/biking on Hilton Head Island.

Angie McLinton

Angie joined LifeTime in April of 2023 and is eager to further her career in internal operations and marketing coordination, as well as serving a team dedicated to quality financial service towards its clientele. Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Angie comes from an international family and has always had a curiosity about the effectiveness of communication between people. She has worked in client-facing services in local/small businesses across multiple industries, including: medicine, financial services, digital marketing, and IT. A graduate of Appalachian State University, Angie has degrees in advertising and journalism. Angie lives in Raleigh with her roommate/soul sister, Allie, and Archie, the real-life Garfield. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, a good walk, a suspenseful mystery novel, and attending concerts with friends. On the side, she is also an assistant wedding & makeup coordinator for Socially Auston Events.

Ben Walden

Ben joined the LifeTime team in August of 2023. An aspiring CPA, he is looking to obtain his CPA license to help individuals and businesses alike to achieve their goals and best results through financial and tax planning. Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Colorado and graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Master of Accounting (MAC) program in 2021. Ben hopes to develop his accounting, taxation, and financial planning skills to become a helpful resource for his friends, family, and community around him. Ben lives in Durham with his fiancé, Maddie, and lab-mix Copper. When not in the office, you can find Ben trying out a new restaurant, running, backpacking, or planning his next travel adventure.

Chloe Ruddo

Chloe was delighted to join the Lifetime Team at the beginning of 2024, serving in the role of Wealth Consulting Assistant. Driven by a lifelong aspiration to help others, she cultivated a passion for numbers and finance from an early age. She was born and raised in Ocean City, Maryland, where she had the opportunity to partake in various jobs, teaching her the importance of money and saving. Chloe graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance specializing in Financial Planning. She found her love for financial planning, seeing it as a career that deals with both finance and psychology. Chloe has always enjoyed working and talking with people, and she knew this would be the perfect opportunity to utilize her strengths. One of her favorite classes was behavioral finance, and she looks forward to using her knowledge and skills within this field. While attending Virginia Tech, she was a member of the Women's Rugby team, where she played all four years. Chloe served on the executive board for two years, her senior year as President. Having had two ACL surgeries, Chloe has taken a few steps back from rugby and has taken an interest in various other hobbies, such as weightlifting, golf, and walking. On top of that, she is a big fan of the Virginia Tech Women's Basketball team. Chloe plans on attending all the games in the neighboring colleges here in North Carolina. Since moving to Raleigh, she is excited to learn more about the city and be a part of their community.

Christine DeSena

Christine DeSena returned to North Carolina and joined LifeTime Asset Management in November 2018. Christine was born and raised in West Virginia and graduated from Fairmont State University. Following graduation, she moved to NC for several years before leaving for family job relocations that eventually landed her in Tampa, FL. She is happy to be back in NC, a place she considers "home". Christine utilizes her computer and organizational skills for many facets of the operation systems at LifeTime. She earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional(SM) designation in 2021. Christine enjoys spending time with her kids, walking, hiking, OrangeTheory Fitness, playing pickleball and watching sports. She has 2 children. Nicole lives in Jersey City with Brooks, an adorable Golden Retriever. Nicole is a fitness instructor and certified running coach. Hunter is a CPA, and married his college sweetheart, Brylie, in 2023. They reside in Tennessee with their Dobes, Guinness and Lucy.

Guy Swain

Guy started his career in financial services in 1979 and is the founder of Lifetime Asset Management. After all these years, Guy still gets the most enjoyment from helping clients find the best solution for their financial concerns. Guy grew up in eastern North Carolina where he was active in sports (football, basketball, baseball), Boy Scouts (Eagle and God & Country Awards) and, along with his ambitious older brother, had a thriving lawn mowing business (more than 30 yards a week). He attended East Carolina University and graduated with a BS in Environmental Health. He has served on The East Carolina Educational Foundation Executive Committee and currently serves on their ECU Foundation Investment Committee. In his free time Guy enjoys golf, being on the Pamlico River, Pirate sporting events, and time with his family. Guy and his wife, Kathy, have lived in Raleigh since 1982.

Heather Poe

Heather joined LifeTime as our Tax Administrator in September 2022. She is responsible for administrative duties to support our clients and tax professionals and keeps the tax department organized and running smoothly. Heather has over 20 years of office management experience, with a wide background in various industries. She has previously worked as an Office Manager for businesses of all sizes in the Raleigh area. Originally from Queens, New York, Heather has been in the Raleigh area for over 30 years. She raised her daughter, Kat, in Raleigh, and currently resides in Downtown Apex with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. In the fall of 2023, Kat will welcome Heather's first grandchild. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, cooking, and watching movies.

John Puckett

John joined LifeTime Asset Management in 2022 as Wealth Consultant and Chief Investment Officer. John works with his clients in areas such as investment analysis, risk management, estate planning and holistic wealth planning. John has over 15 years of strategic investment and planning experience and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017. In 2020, he completed an executive education program for Investment Management and practice theory through Yale University. John graduated with an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018 and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University in 2005. Prior to joining the industry John served as an educator and basketball coach in Gwinnett County, GA. John is a Georgia native and currently lives in Suwanee with his wife Rachel and daughters Sam and Zoey. In his free time, John enjoys golfing, going to Georgia Tech football games, and traveling with his family.

Kevin McKinney

Kevin joined LifeTime in June of 2023 as a Wealth Consulting Assistant. He is eager to grow his career in financial planning and wealth management, as well as work with a team dedicated to quality financial service towards its clientele. Born and raised near Harrisonburg, Virginia, Kevin grew up in a family of six. After graduating from high school, he went on to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia to study Finance (CFPF Option). He developed a passion for finances and helping others and has always strived to put a smile on a person's face. Whether it be at his previous internships, jobs, or just being in public, Kevin is always doing his best to make a lasting impact on those around him. He recently graduated with honors from Virginia Tech in May of 2023. Kevin lives in downtown Raleigh. In his free time, he is either working out at the gym, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, or spending quality time with friends. He also loves listening to music, exploring new areas, and being outdoors.

Kim Feuersanger

Kim joined LifeTime Asset Management in November 2017. She is responsible for providing support to the Wealth Consultants, management of office operations, client services, and event planning. She has over 20 years of professional management and administrative experience. Kim has worked in the financial and insurance services industry for over 15 years. Previous occupations include Office Manager & Program Manager at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Director of Crew Scheduling at Midway Airlines. Kim is a North Carolina Notary Public. In late 2021, Kim earned the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (SM) designation. Kim is happily married to her best friend Sig and enjoys spending time with family, friends and loves to cook.

Leslie Gaddis

Leslie Gaddis joined Lifetime Asset Management in January 2018 as a Financial Planning Assistant. She spent the first part of her career life as a Geographic Information Systems specialist for a natural gas utility, but in 2016 decided to pursue her passion for personal finance and financial planning. Leslie enrolled in the Duke University Executive Certificate in Financial Planning, where she met fellow LTAM executive team member Alan King. She completed the program in May 2017, and passed the CFP© Exam in July. Leslie became LifeTime's Chief Planning Officer in April 2022. Leslie was born in Silver Spring, Maryland but raised in Durham from a young age. She graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, and then traveled just down the road to complete undergraduate studies in Biology and Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Leslie has also earned a Master of Arts in Geography from UNC Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration at North Carolina State University. Leslie lives in Durham, where she enjoys indulging in all the great restaurants the city has to offer and attending the Broadway Series and other events at the Durham Performing Arts Center. She regularly practices and occasionally teaches Ashtanga and vinyasa yoga. She also enjoys traveling both in the US and overseas, having visited a number of countries including New Zealand, Greece, Italy, and Costa Rica. Leslie has volunteered at Families Moving Forward, providing monthly cash flow management workshops for homeless families to aid the transition to a stable home. She is also a member of the Triangle chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Lorraine Johnson worked with business owners, non-traditional families, and those who are either retired or within 5-10 years of reducing their involvement in the workforce. Her passion was to help them create, manage and preserve their wealth while helping them work towards financial independence and confidence. Her services included financial planning, investment management and insurance. She particularly enjoyed providing investment advice and helping business owners to integrate their personal and business planning. While she was a highly qualified financial services representative, she had a combination of experience and professional credentials. She earned an undergraduate degree in Trust Management and Estate Planning, holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst® and Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor SM (ADPA®), and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner. Lorraine has been a member of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts, the Financial Planning Association and the CFA Institute. She was a Registered Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC. She has been quoted and the subject of articles in InvestmentNews Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. Lorraine is an appointed member of The Supplemental Retirement Board of Trustees, the board responsible for governing the NC 401(k)/457 Plans and the NC 403(b) Program. She was appointed to the board by Governor Roy Cooper in June 2018 and recently re-appointed by Governor Cooper in July 2023. Over the years Lorraine has received National Association of Women Business Owner (NAWBO) Greater Raleigh Chapter awards for Member of the Year, Political Advocacy, and Corporate Sponsorship. Mandi Schoephoerster

Mandi Schoephoerster started with LifeTime as our Office Administrator in August 2021. She was promoted to Client Service Administrator in April 2023 as she continues to grow her career in the financial industry. She is excited to be a part of a team that is centered around quality financial services and that provides a familial atmosphere to their clients and staff. In her new role, Mandi will assist our clients with account servicing needs, including opening new accounts, making changes to existing accounts and processing contribution and distribution requests. Mandi earned her associate's degree from Pitt County Community College in Greenville, NC. She has experience providing great supports for clients; she supported multiple companies as an administrative assistant in both Winterville, NC and Raleigh, NC before joining LifeTime. She also has experience in Client Services, Marketing, and Sales. Mandi lives in North Raleigh with her husband, Hunter. In her free time, she is either trying out a new recipe, at PNC cheering on the Carolina Canes, meeting family and friends for a craft beer, or enjoying a peaceful yoga class at Yoba! Mandi and Hunter hope to settle down in Raleigh and make it their home.

Mark Girimonte

Mark Girimonte began his professional career in Long Island, NY after graduating from Hofstra University in 1982 with a BBA in Accounting. Mark joined the LifeTime Tax team in September 2020 and became Director of Tax Services in May 2023. Prior to LifeTime Tax, Mark worked for a number of CPA firms in NY, NJ and NC, with the majority of his experiences in individual and business taxation. He was also a Corporate Tax Manager from 1997 - 2007. Mark passed the CPA exam in NY in 1994, and he has been credentialed in NC since 2014. (License # 38539). Recently, Mark sat for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ exam and passed in November 2022. Mark has worked and lived in the Raleigh area since 2014, with his wife Lisa. Their oldest daughter Rebecca is a 2017 graduate of Gordon College (Wenham MA) and currently lives in Chicago. His youngest daughter Rachel is a 2021 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and also lives in Chicago.

Michael Flaherty is a Wealth Consulting Assistant with LifeTime Asset Management supporting the investment research and financial planning processes. He's spent over 20 years in finance and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2006. Michael was an Executive Strategist with FlahertyColvin for nearly 20 years. Before joining FC, Michael was the vice president of IceBeams International, a manufacturer of speed suits for Olympic athletes, and he traveled with the U.S. women's bobsled team, winners of an Olympic Gold Medal. Michael and his wife have two young boys. He enjoys volunteering as a youth hockey coach, and he is the author of the children's books Whose Story Is This, Anyway? (2016) and This Is NOT a Dragon Party (2019).

Rebecca Crumpler joined LifeTime Tax Management in March 2021, bringing over ten years of financial services experience. Rebecca is originally from New York, but has lived in North Carolina since the second grade. She attended Appalachian State University and obtained her Bachelor's in Business Administration in late 2017. Rebecca obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) designation in late 2019, which sparked her interest in pursuing a Master's degree. She graduated with a Masters in Accounting from NC State University in May 2021. Most recently, Rebecca earned her CPA certification in April 2022. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing video games, hiking, and cross-stitching. She lives in Willow Spring with her husband, her daughter Ember, her son Remington, and their dog, Kira.

Sandy Russ

Sandy Russ joined LifeTime Asset Management in March 2022 as a Wealth Management Associate. She was promoted to Wealth Consultant in December 2023. Sandy has grown her career in wealth management under the mentorship of Lorraine Johnson, CFP®, CFA®, ADPA®, our recently retired LGBTQ+ focused advisor. She thoroughly enjoys attending Pride festivals and other LGBTQ+ events, seeing how loving, inclusive, and supportive the community is of one another. She is proud to call herself an ally and looks forward to having the opportunity to share her passion and expertise to help in a safe and inclusive environment. Sandy was born and raised near Raleigh and graduated from Meredith College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Following graduation, she moved to New Bern, NC where she passed the CPA exam and worked in public accounting preparing individual and business tax returns. In 2006, Sandy and her husband purchased an insurance agency in the NC Foothills. She was involved in the greater Caldwell County community and enjoyed participating in Chamber of Commerce events. Sandy also supported the local nonprofit Communities in Schools with annual X the TXT events to encourage new young drivers to make the pledge to not text and drive. Also while in Caldwell, Sandy was a member of Rotary International. In 2012, Sandy was instrumental in forming a networking group called Caldwell Women's Forum. This is a space for local professionals to gather monthly for breakfast and hear inspiring stories from local leaders about topics important to women such as cardiovascular disease, financial independence, skin care, mental health, economic development, business marketing strategy, Women's History, and many more. Sandy passed the exam and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2020 and enjoys helping women gain financial confidence. While living in the mountains, Sandy and her husband Jerry enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and camping. They recently moved back to the Raleigh area to be closer to family and lifelong friends. Tami Hollingsworth

Tami Hollingsworth joined the LifeTime team in 2020. She brings marketing, communications, and client relationship experience to her role with LifeTime, in addition to her experience in finance. While Tami grew up in Maryland, she originally came to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University. While Tami and her husband Mike lived in Denver for some time, they relocated back to Raleigh in 2004, and their family has planted their roots in the Oak City ever since. Tami started her career in the financial industry working for a mutual fund research company in Maryland, and she later had the opportunity to work in the marketing department of a small mutual fund company in Denver. In 2009, Tami joined a local financial planning office in Raleigh, first as a Client Relationship Manager and later as their Director of Business Development. She joined the Raleigh office of LifeTime in 2020 as an Office Administrator, then served as a Client Service Administrator. Starting in spring 2023, Tami now works as LifeTime's Marketing Associate. Tami has her bachelor's degree in Economics from NC State. On the weekends, you may find Tami playing tennis, hiking, or getting lost in a good book. Will Martin

Will Martin is a Wealth Consultant with LifeTime Asset Management. Joining our team in December 2021 as a Wealth Management Associate, Will continues to support our Wealth Consultants with investment research throughout our financial planning processes. He has worked over 8 years in the financial services industry and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification as well as Series 7 & 66 FINRA licenses. In his free time, Will enjoys playing golf, cheering on the ECU Pirates, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Will earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics with a minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University.
