Ashton R. Watkins

Ashton R. Watkins is a trial attorney and of counsel to LHP. He has tried cases in both state and federal courts, as well as administrative tribunals. Mr. Watkins' practice is very diverse. He focuses on complex litigation, with an emphasis on real estate and business disputes. He regularly represents clients in the financial services industry, retailers and a diverse group of professionals (pharmacists, medical doctors, physical therapists) in actions involving claims of breach of contract, mortgage fraud, bankruptcy, negligence and violations of the California Business and Professions Code. He also represents litigation clients in the entertainment industry, including actors, movie producers and cinematographers. He has also represented criminal defendants facing fraud charges. Mr. Watkins is focused on results at the trial and appellate levels. He first tries to negotiate a settlement favorable to the client and, if that fails, takes the case to trial. He has obtained judgments and settlements for clients in excess of $2 million dollars. He has also obtained defense verdicts, saving his clients several millions in potential jury verdicts. He has also represented homeowners and renters in foreclosure related lawsuits and evictions. Over the last two years, Mr. Watkins has successfully defended several eviction cases against an overly aggressive property owner seeking to evict its long-term tenants who were paying less than the market rent for their units. He has also successfully briefed and argued an appeal in Le v. Pham (2010) 180 Cal. App. 4th 1201. His victory expanded the fiduciary obligations of owners in regulated professional corporations. The general principle enunciated in that case applies to pharmacy corporations, professional law corporations and medical corporations. Dr. Delgado also has been serving our community for years by providing free seminars, workshops and other volunteer services to the Southern California Latino community. Mr. Delgado has immigration experience serving a diverse array of clients, including multi-national corporations and their executives, small/medium-sized subsidiaries of foreign parents, and individuals on a wide variety of immigration matters; including investor-entrepreneur, employment-based immigrant, L-1, H-1B, E-2, and other non-immigrant petitions. Jennifer J. Rhee

Jennifer J. Rhee, our leading worker's compensation attorneys, has been licensed for over 10 years and has an impressive background comprised of experience in the field as well as academic successes. With significant trial experience settling all kinds of novel claims, Ms. Rhee's legal background is one to be noted. Since 2008, he has tried over 100 worker's compensation cases and has authored over 20 briefs for the California Court of Appeal on worker's compensation issues. For cases pertaining to Orange County work injuries, Edward is a skilled and reliable Huntington Beach compensation attorney. She first began his career at Glenn L Silverii, serving as senior trial attorney, Now, she is serving LHD's lead worker's compensation attorney as an outside attorney Ms. Rhee received her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent School of Law in 2008. Ms. Rhee attended the University of California, Los Angeles for her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honor. John J. Huang

Mr. Huang has advised on various M&A transactions as well as numerous middle-market finance transactions. Kenneth Han

Kenneth Han's cerebral, client-focused approach to the law has earned him the respect of his peers and clients alike. Mr. Han has extensive experience and expertise in complex corporate transaction and litigation matters where he represented wide range of entities in various industrial sectors including consumer goods manufacturers, commercial airlines, defense contractors and wholesale distributors. While he advises CEOs and other corporate leaders on critical business and legal issues, Mr. Han represented the secured borrower in a $35 million syndicated credit facility to the largest apparel wholesaler in Southern California, which included a $20 million tranche B loan funded by the equity sponsor. Sung D. Lim

Sung D. Lim is a partner at LHD and leads the firm's International Arbitration & Cross-Border Litigation Practice and Insolvency & Restructuring Practice. For the extended period of time, Mr. Lim has successfully represented various foreign and domestic clients in numerous contentious disputes. He has represented clients in a wide range of disputes involving financial products, derivatives, corporate matters, M&A and competition, among others. In particular, his advocacy of a foreign investor inextended an ICC arbitration proceeding against a governmental deposit insurance corporation led to an award of approximately KRW 3 billion, which is one of the largest arbitral awards in Korean history. He has also advised many of the world's largest corporations, creditors, as well as investors, on various insolvency and corporate restructuring-related matters. Mr. Lim also has a broad practice in civil, administrative and criminal litigation in Korea at the firm's Korean office. In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Lim has specialized in finance and securities-related regulation, intellectual property, hostile M&A, insolvency and corporate restructuring. As a criminal defense lawyer, Mr. Lim has dealt with the most high profile white collar crime cases in Korea.
