Mr. Ednie, Vice President of Civil Engineering, leads the firm's Civil Engineering Department. He oversees LKB's design divisions including transportation, structural, site, civil, and electromechanical engineering services. Mr. Ednie has 37 years of diverse civil engineering experience, including the design of highways, bridges, drainage systems, and site improvements/development projects. He has been with LKB for over 24 years. As Project Manager and Principal-In-Charge, he has successfully completed numerous local projects with clients such as Long Island Towns, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the New York State Department of Transportation, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation, as well as other municipal agencies. Mr. Prunty, Vice President of Construction Management and Inspection, oversees the firm's department of talented field inspection staff. He leads all current LKB construction inspection projects for municipal and private clients in the Long Island and New York City area including projects with State, County, Town, and various other public agencies. Various infrastructure projects range from roadways, bridges and highways to seawalls, culverts, and pump stations. Mr. Prunty has 19 years of construction inspection and design experience, giving him a well-rounded perspective of completing projects from initial planning through final construction. Prior to joining LKB 12 years ago, he began his career working in the public sector for both DELDOT and NYSDOT. Education & Certification B.C.E. Mr. Macedonio, Chief Executive Officer, has over 23 years of professional engineering experience which includes leading and developing engineering staff, managing multidiscipline project teams, and collaborating with marketing teams, business development teams as well as clients, for infrastructure and site development projects throughout the New York area. His strong technical background in planning, design and construction of roadways, bridges, railways, transportation facilities, site development, utilities and flood protection allow him to provide the leadership and client relations skills that drive new growth for LKB. Mr. Macedonio is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards and is recognized as an accomplished engineer by the industry. He was awarded the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2015 NYC Platinum Award for Highway Project - Project Manager, MTA B&T Verrazano Toll Plaza Improvements; the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Long Island Branch 2011 Frank Patti Award; and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) 2009 Service Award. In addition, he has given project presentations at NYSSPE and New York State Association of Transportation Engineers (NYSATE) conferences. Mr. Zawasky manages the CAD systems and technology software for LKB. With 30 years of professional CAD experience, he offers a wealth of drafting capabilities specializing in infrastructure projects which include civil, structural, environmental, electrical/mechanical, surveying, and architectural disciplines. He maintains and updates our custom Autocad drafting system and oversees the daily production of CAD work, while managing the technology software for LKB. Mr. Zawasky is a FAA certified remote pilot with high quality 3D rendering and CAD drafting expertise. To enhance our technology capabilities, he obtained his FAA Part 107 (SUAS) remote pilot certification, enabling him to fly drones commercially. He leads the firm's technology service offerings which include high-resolution aerial photography and video; roof inspections; building façade inspections; tower/pole inspections; construction site monitoring; and 3D photogrammetry. Using software such as Civil 3D, Infraworks, Inventor and Formit Pro, Mr. Zawasky also creates realistic 3D renderings of projects for our clients, offering them a view of what their finished product can look like. Mr. Gerlach, Director of Environmental Sciences, is a New York State-licensed Professional Geologist and Certified Wetland Delineator, with 35 years of environmental consulting experience, including over 26 years with LKB. Mr. Gerlach oversees environmental science and hydrogeologic projects performed by LKB's Environmental Services Department, as well as assists LKB's other engineering departments with the environmental aspects of their civil, electrical and infrastructure improvement projects. He is an expert in the field of environmental assessment, monitoring and remediation, and is experienced in collection, analysis, and assessment of environmental data in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. He is also adept in specialized data gathering/interpretation techniques such as EQuIS, computer modeling of air-quality and noise impacts, geophysical surveying, laboratory testing, and analysis of environmental data.

Mr. Viani has over 10 years of experience in structural engineering design and inspections of buildings, bridges and other structures. He has conducted structural condition inspections, prepared contract plans, specifications and estimates, provided shop drawing reviews, and other construction support services. His expertise includes design of steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge metal structures. Mr. Viani has experience as a structural engineer providing designs for residential and mixed-use buildings, bridge and subway rehabilitation, retaining walls and foundations, and storm hardening of structures located within coastal flood zones. He has designed and provided construction support for new and renovated buildings and has experience with demolition and construction sequencing of buildings including the design of temporary bracing/shoring, support of excavation and underpinning. Mr. Culver, Director of Structural Engineering, has an extensive background in the design, construction, and inspection of bridges, buildings, bulkheads and seawalls, and other structures. With 44 years of experience, including over 29 years with LKB, he has designed and provided project management for new and rehabilitated highway structures including concrete and steel bridges, retaining walls, noise barriers, sign structures and culverts. He has applied his knowledge in the preparation of specifications, estimates, shop drawing review, construction consultation for projects throughout the northeast. Mr. Culver is also involved in the design of buildings, pre-engineered buildings, substation towers, transmission towers, monopoles and waterfront structures and has a record of providing solid solutions for assignments of various sizes and unique aspects.
