LOTUS TRAVEL - Key Persons
Alice is one of our tour coordinators who work behind the scenes organizing the in-country tour details. After growing up in Guilin, she earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing when she graduated from China South Forest's Technology University in 2005. Besides working closely with the travel advisors to complete our client's in-country travel, Alice enjoys reading, writing and listening to music in her free time. For more social activities, she likes visiting with her friends and playing volleyball.
Ansion is our web developer, who has professional IT skills and is specialized in Java Web Language Development. He is fascinated about website construction, design and functionality accomplishment. Ansion is full of energy, motivated and upbeat. He loves 100 meters dash and triple jump. Blue sky, ocean and sunshine are his three favorites . He believes confidence and diligence will make dreams come true.
Apple works closely with our China office director, Linda regarding handling hotel accommodation reservations, ticketing and tour guides arrangements. She was a tour guide prior to joining Lotus Travel in 2005 and understands all aspects related to making travel arrangements. Apple enjoys listening to music, reading, exercising and spending time with her family during her spare time.
Candy is one of our tour coordinators. Before she joined Lotus Travel's China team, she used to work at the front desk for a hotel in Liuzhou. Since she was already familiar with the hotel business and the travel industry, Candy has always been able to coordinate tour groups with ease.
Dorry is one of our tour coordinators and graduated from college with a degree in English Education before joining the Lotus Travel China team. She loves children and also enjoys working for adoptive families. She likes movies, music, shopping and spending time with her family during her spare time.

Iris Culp is the Director of Homeland Heritage Tour Programs and Lotus Travel Communications Manager. She comes to Lotus Travel from a background of consulting in the fields of human resources and communications. She has a master's degree in adult education and a bachelor's degree in communications.
Prior to joining Lotus Travel she worked as a manager at Sabre and American Airlines within the travel industry. She has more than twenty years of professional experience in diverse industries including the health care, education and finance. She is also proud to be called "mom" to two wonderful kiddos from China. Iris says she enjoys the opportunity to combine her passion for adoption and her deep fascination for China and its culture in her work with Lotus Travel.
When not working, one can find Iris enjoying reading, or spending time with her children. She has been married to her husband Even Culp, a university professor, for more than 25 years. They are proud their family has a Scandanavian/Chinese/American heritage. She says, "Hey, it's great to have the blend -- we get to enjoy kuchen from Sweden; dumplings from China, and lots of holidays this way!"

Linda is the Travel Supervisor in our China office. She oversees all inside China logistics for adoptive families. She is the liaison between our U.S. office and our tour operators in China. Linda has more than ten years of experience in the travel industry.

Louie Yi is our founder and tour expert. The son of geologists, as a child, he traveled extensively in China with his parents. Louie worked in the tourism industry in China for over 10 years, leading groups of western visitors all over China and Southeast Asia before establishing Lotus Travel in Seattle, Washington in 1995. Louie enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, gardening, photography, fishing and hiking. Louie travels to China and Southeast Asia often to ensure the smooth operation of our China office and to explore new routes for our tours. From his visits to China, Louie created our extensive tour packages specifically for our clients. The Guilin Hiking Tour in our Asian Explorer Series is the product of one of his hiking trips in Guilin.
Cel, short for Maricel, is one of the Travel Advisors and responsible for adoption travel. Originally from the Philippines, she has been working overseas since 2006. She graduated from the University of Philippines with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration. During her free time, she loves reading books, watching movies and surfing the net.
Tracy is one of our tour coordinators who works closely with our travel advisors in order to complete our client's in-country travel. She graduated from college in China with a major in Foreign Trade English. Prior to coming to Lotus Travel, she worked as a receptionist and accountant. Besides working behind the scenes organizing in-country tour details, Tracy enjoys traveling, movies, music, shopping and exercising.

Ying Chen is accountant in our Guangzhou office. Graduated from Guangdong AIB Polytechnic College Study and majored in information management of accounting, Ying has a passion for accounting and is always eager to learn related things and beyond. Now, Ying is finding her dream job and look forward to become a professional CPA to serve adoptive families .In her spare time, Ying loves exploring online and music.
