Christian Donovan is a Shareholder with LNL. Christian focuses on real estate law and handles transactions involving the purchase, sale and lease of residential, industrial and commercial real estate. He also represents commercial landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of leases. Christian has established condominiums in several prominent downtown office buildings, including the LeVeque Tower and Columbia Gas Building, and can prepare condominium declarations, disclosure statements, and serve as outside counsel to condominium associations on matters ranging from filing liens, interpreting the declaration, and handling foreclosures to protect the association's interests. Christian has also represented commercial property owners in workouts and short sales, including assisting an owner of a $2.2 million dollar golf course with the short-sale of the course and negotiation of the debt. He has also represented several prominent lenders in bankruptcy and foreclosure cases, including negotiating and appearing in court on their behalf. Christian also assists purchasers in successfully navigating environmental problems that are discovered during due diligence, and can assist with advising you and connecting you with qualified remediation experts for any Phase I, II and III environmental remediation. He resolves disputes, including engaging in litigation when required, on behalf of sellers and buyers, as well as landlords and tenants. Christian is also a licensed and practicing Ohio title insurance agent and a managing agent of Paramount Title Agency, Inc. As a title insurance agent and an attorney he has a high degree of proficiency with handling closings for clients to ensure that the client's interests are properly protected. Christian also brings quiet title actions in the case of otherwise unresolvable title issues. Christian also serves as outside counsel to many small and medium sized businesses. Christopher E. James S. Savage is a trial lawyer in Columbus, Ohio. Jeff Jinkens is currently Senior Counsel with Luper Neidenthal & Logan after having been a Shareholder/Director for over 40 years. Born in the Columbus area, he received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Wally commenced his professional career in the City National Bank Legal Department succeeding to holding company First Bank Group (now JPMorgan Chase) before joining the firm in 1977. With over forty years of experience, he is able to provide a broad range of legal counsel to his diverse client base. Acting as a general outside counsel to his business and professional clients, Wally offers advice on day-to-day questions, business formation issues, buy-sell and employment contracts, merger and acquisition, business succession planning, litigation strategy, estate planning, and real estate ownership as well as development issues and leases. Kirsten Cox is an Associate Attorney in LNL's litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, complex litigation, and business litigation matters. Kirsten is passionate about the representation of her clients and understands that her clients are entrusting her to be diligent in her efforts to obtain the best possible outcome in their legal matters. Prior to working at LNL as an Associate Attorney, Kirsten worked as a law clerk with the firm while attending Capital University Law School. Before joining the LNL team, Kirsten worked at a boutique law firm where she gained valuable practice experience by working closely with experienced attorneys and clients who relied upon her to solve complex legal matters. Kirsten also participated in the General Litigation Clinic at Capital University Law School where she advised clients in a variety of legal matters, including estate planning, criminal matters, and family law. Kirsten graduated from The Ohio State University, earning her bachelor's degree in both Political Science and History. Kyle Anderson is an associate attorney in LNL's litigation practice group. Kyle focuses his practice on civil litigation, complex litigation and employment law matters. Kyle knows that employees are the foundation on which any successful business rests and he believes that they should be valued and treated fairly. Kyle realizes this, however, does not always happen, which is why he represents his clients aggressively and passionately. Kyle believes that communication with his clients is key and he regularly makes himself available to clients, by call, text, and email, outside normal business hours. Michael Kolman is an experienced litigator having tried approximately ten jury trials in addition to numerous bench trials. He has represented both employers and employees in cases involving sex, race, religion, and disability discrimination; sexual harassment; whistle blower; retaliation; and employer intentional tort in both state and federal courts. He tried one of the first sexual harassment cases and HIV discrimination cases in Central Ohio.
