Ana Maria Dias has been a lawyer since 1982.
She was a trainee in the office of Professor Dr Adelino da Palma Carlos where she also started her activity.

Bárbara is a junior lawyer in our Seville office, having joined the firm in 2016, joining the Litigation Area. Her areas of expertise are Civil, Procedural and Banking Law.
In her professional practice she has focused mainly on Civil Procedural Law and Banking and Mortgage Law. Provides legal advice to asset recovery portfolio management entities in the courts, and also intervenes in advising the legal department of various civil and commercial procedures.

Esther Pillado se incorporó a la Universidad de Vigo en 1995 y es catedrática desde 2010.
Inmaculada is a partner of the firm and directs the specialties that are included in the Civil Law area in the Vigo office.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the practice of the profession and has developed her activity as a collaborating lawyer with several insurance companies and as a partner of the Lealtadis firm, before joining MAIO.
She has intervened in all kinds of litigation covering the civil sphere, both in the defense of the interests of companies and individuals. She has led lawsuits regarding leases, horizontal property, building law, insurance, obligations and contracts, contractual and extra-contractual civil liability, claims of quantity.
Her activity of management and assistance in litigation, whenever possible, is preceded by a first conciliatory phase, aimed at avoiding conflict, which translates into a high percentage of transactional agreements, understanding the judicial route as the last alternative, when the friendly solution is not feasible.
She specializes in advising on inheritance matters, guiding individuals on the steps to follow in the event of the death of a relative, as well as in everything related to inheritance agreements and wills.

Luís has been a lawyer since 1994 and is one of the founding partners of the Lisbon office of Maio SMCA.
Previously he worked and was a partner at the law firms "Morais Cardoso, Sousa Moniz & Associados", "Sampaio, Morais Cardoso & Associados" and "Pena, Machete, Botelho Moniz, Nobre Guedes, Ruiz & Associados".
With extensive experience in providing legal advice to individuals and companies, he has mainly focused on real estate law, corporate law, litigation and arbitration.
In the area of real estate law he has been particularly active in representing institutional investors, investment funds, real estate developers and private investors. He has advised such clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, foreign investment, financing and term financing operations, purchase and sale and lease transactions in relation to various real estate properties in the energy, retail, residential and tourism sectors.
In the corporate area, Luís has provided ongoing legal advice to companies in various sectors of economic activity, including corporate groups, covering all aspects of their activities, from incorporation to evolution and day-to-day operations. He has led corporate/M&A transactions, including private equity and venture capital transactions, providing legal support to national and foreign companies. He is Chairman of the Board of the General Meeting of several companies in Portugal.
Luís also has wide experience in litigation and arbitration, having acted as legal counsel in hundreds of court and arbitration proceedings throughout his professional life. He was Head of the Litigation Department of Sociedade Portuguesa de Leasing, S.A.

Likewise, he is specialized in the process of evaluation, design and implementation of regulatory compliance programs in accordance with national and international standards.
