Love Insurance Agency was established in 1950 by Richard P. Love, Sr., who was later joined in the business by seven of his eight sons. In 1998, the family sold the business to CBIZ. The Love family purchased the agency back from CBIZ in April 2001. Love Insurance Agency carries all types of commercial insurance with specialties including transportation, construction, municipalities, schools, and life and health. We currently write an annual premium of $50,000,000.00 in our P&C and Health & Life divisions, and we are steadily growing. The Love agency is located at 323 Center St., Suite A in Chardon, Ohio with close access to interstate 90. Currently our staff is at 30 employees. Our agency memberships include Ohio OIA and the Partner Platform User Community (our database software).
