MY ORTHODONTIST - Key Persons

Dr. Anjali Nanda is passionate about perfecting patient's smiles. Coming from a family of orthodontists, she has been very interested in the field since an early age. Dr. Nanda grew up in California and Virginia, where she received her Bachelors in Cognitive Sciences at the University of Virginia. She then continued on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma, and her Orthodontic Certificate of Specialty and Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Connecticut. Her orthodontic research was conducted on novel techniques to accelerate tooth movement. Dr. Nanda is Board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. With family in the area, she has been visiting Pennsylvania her whole life and is very happy to be able to serve this community. She is the oldest of three girls, and loves spending time with her sisters and the rest of her family. She enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and reading just about anything she can get her hands on! Dr. Nanda is dedicated to delivering excellent orthodontic treatment and we are excited to have her on our team.

Douglas Kim, DMD, MS, is a board-certified orthodontist at My Orthodontist. He grew up in Bergen County, NJ and attended Tufts University for both his undergraduate and dental school educations. He graduated dental school cum laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Following dental school, Dr. Doug completed General Practice Residency at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and orthodontic specialty training and Master of Science degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Doug is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, and New Jersey Dental Association. As an orthodontist, Dr. Doug is committed to treating his patients like family and providing them with the highest possible quality of care. He places great emphasis on patient education to ensure that his patients are well-informed on their orthodontic problems and treatment solutions. Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Doug loves to eat so staying physically active is important to him. His favorite activities include hiking, camping, calisthenics, golf, soccer, and basketball. He is an avid fan of Arsenal FC and New York Knicks.

Holly Gray, DMD, MS, is a board-certified orthodontist at My Orthodontist. The practice has locations in Deptford Township, Lawrenceville, Medford, Bayonne, West New York, East Orange, Cherry Hill, and Patterson, New Jersey, and Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gray was born and raised in Philadelphia. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University. She went on to her complete her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, Certificate in Orthodontics, and a Master's of Science in Oral Biology at Temple University. Dr. Gray is an member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and she is aboard certified through the American Board of Orthodontics. In her free time, Dr. Gray can be found enjoying the great outdoors and her hometown of Philadelphia with her husband, two sons and pup.

Shahid Aziz is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rutgers University, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Aziz is also an Attending Surgeon at University Hospital (Newark, NJ), St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson, NJ, Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick, NJ, St Peters University Hospital, and Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Aziz currently serves as President-elect of the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Chairman of the Section of Dentistry and Oral Health of the New York Academy of Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Aziz is the co-founder and President of the New Jersey-based non-profit Smile Bangladesh. A first-generation Bangladeshi-American, he has been leading a small team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to Bangladesh since 2006. To date, his teams have provided free surgery to about 1300 children and adults with cleft lip and palate deformities. Dr. Aziz is the 2017 recipient of AAOMS Humanitarian Award.
