Dr. Wallins joined Lynnfield Dental Associates in June of 2015 after practicing General Dentistry for more than 40 years in West Peabody. He joined forces and merged his practice with Dr. Dehni so that together they could create a high-tech, collaborative practice that meets the needs of every patient.
Dr. Wallins grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in 1965 from Temple University and then proceeded to get his DDS degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1969. He then served in the United States Air Force for two years practicing dentistry while achieving the rank of Captain.

Dr. Irays Santamaria is one of the premier dentists in Boston. She's received Boston Magazine's ‘Best of Boston' award and was also recognized as a Boston Magazine 2017 Top Dentist in her field of Prosthodontics. Dr. Santamaria earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and her certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics, with honors, from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she was also a faculty member. In pursuing her passion for dentistry, Dr. Santamaria has received the Dr. Hitoshi Ito Excellence Award from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine as well as awards from the American College of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Santamaria's practice is focused on cosmetic dentistry. She attends courses in esthetic and restorative dentistry with a focus on veneers, crowns, and implants. She has received certification in Invisalign orthodontics. Dr. Santamaria is also certified in Conscious Oral Sedation. This allows her patients to receive complete dentistry in a deep, relaxed state in just one or two visits. Dr. Santamaria's patients enjoy a comfortable, pleasant experience with a reduced level of anxiety. Together with her excellent staff, Dr. Santamaria enjoys making beautiful, healthy smiles for her wonderful patients.
Dr. Santamaria is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Association of Endodontics, the Massachusetts Dental Society, Metropolitan Dental District, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Walid J. Dehni founded Lynnfield Dental Associates in 2000 after working for a few years in Boston. A specialist in the Esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth, he has expertise in restoring optimum appearance and function to his patients' smiles. In private practice for over 19 years, Dr. Dehni has advanced training in esthetic procedures, dental implants, Teeth in a Day, oral plastic and reconstructive surgery, TMD problems, traumatic injuries to the mouth, congenital anomalies, sleep apnea treatment and oral cancer reconstruction. He is considered a master of complete oral rehabilitation. Dr. Dehni is a certified provider of The CEREC® 3D, a system for the fabrication of all-ceramic dental restorations in just one office visit. He is also certified in Botox and injectable fillers.
Dr. Dehni is also one of few doctors trained and certified in both Oral Conscious Sedation and IV sedation dentistry, techniques that allow his patients to receive all of their dental care in just one or two visits while in a state of deep relaxation. Both he and his excellent team are committed to providing his patients a safe and comfortable sedation dentistry experience in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Dr. Dehni obtained his Bachelor of Arts in 1988 from Boston University, where he was a Merritt Scholar, and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1994 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He holds a specialty degree in prosthodontics and implant dentistry from the University of Texas and VA Medical Center Houston. Dr Dehni is the president of the Sedation Dentistry Network and has taught at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dehni enjoys spending time with his two children, Isabella and Andrew, as well as his wife, Dr. Santamaria who is also a dentist and works in both Lynnfield and Boston.
Melissa graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2006 with an Associate's Degree in Science. Melissa originally went to school to become an Aesthetician, but after work with her uncle in his dental laboratory she found the work so fascinating she decided to become a Certified Dental Assistant. Melissa has over 10 years experience working in a multi-specialty office before joining our team. She grew up in Wilmington and currently lives in Peabody with her husband and 2 sons, Joey and Anthony. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies and sitting on the beach.
