Chris Forrest graduated Order of St. Ives from the University of Denver College of Law and has been individually rated (AV) by Martindale Hubbell since 2001, the highest possible rating for both legal ability and ethical standards. Eric James possesses a lifelong commitment to service in his community, having served in a number of different roles within the Larimer County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) during his 16-year tenure. He determined early in that career that he wanted to pursue positive change in the legal profession and pivoted to attend law school. Eric's path has been non-traditional producing what clients feel is a grounded and well-rounded approach to the law. As a stalwart believer in the rights of the people, he served as a decorated Deputy and Corporal at LCSO. During this time, he also served as an Adjunct Professor at a police academy where he instructed on a variety of legal subjects. Eric holds himself to the highest level of ethical standards building trust with the individuals and businesses that he helps. Eric graduated from the University of South Dakota Knudsen School of Law in 2000 and subsequently served as Deputy District Attorney in the 8 th Judicial District in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 2005 Eric left the District Attorney's Office to pursue the opportunity to serve clients with a wide range of needs at Hamilton Faatz & Waller, PC as well as Elkus Sisson & Rosenstein, PC, both out of the Denver Metro area. Eric brings to Miller & Steiert experience in Family Law, including divorces and complex adoptions, Employment Law, Estate Planning, EEO, ADA, Title VII, Colorado Wage Act, FLSA compliance and administrative proceedings as well as Real Estate, Commercial and Criminal representation in felony, misdemeanor, and DUI defense. Eric will be assisting clients across the State of Colorado, bringing a focus on a Northern Colorado presence for Miller & Steiert. He enjoys camping and outdoor recreation with his wife, Cyndy as well as his daughters Mica & Eliza and step-daughters Brittney & Jacquelyn.

Mollie's practice at Miller & Steiert focuses on commercial litigation, corporate law, employment law and probate litigation. While attending college, she worked as a legal assistant in a suburban Chicago law firm that specialized in the areas of estate planning, probate litigation, and corporate law. Mollie relocated to Denver in 2003 to attend law school at The University of Denver after receiving the University of Denver Law Scholarship. At the University of Denver College of Law, Mollie served as Managing Director of Social Justice Action Group (S-JAG), a volunteer organization that provides free legal research and writing assistance to public interest attorneys who are actively pursuing social justice. As Managing Director of S-JAG, Mollie founded a mentorship program, coordinated volunteers for a conference on state accountability and domestic violence, and was awarded the Julie Nice Outstanding Research and Writing Award for her leadership of a S-JAG team that wrote a domestic violence legal manual. She was also awarded the Mary E. Ricketson Endowed Scholarship for demonstrated commitment to using the law to improve society and academic merit, and was nominated by faculty members for the Sturm College of Law Outstanding Graduating Student Leadership Award and the Sturm College of Law General Leadership Award. Mollie graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in the top 25 percent of her class.

Robert M. Steiert

Bob Steiert began trying cases in 1978, while working as a student attorney with the Colorado Public Defender's Office in Boulder. After graduating from law school, he was employed as a trial attorney by the Public Defender's Office in Littleton and by Hall & Evans, a large insurance defense firm. Bob joined Miller & Steiert in 1986. Bob earned extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases, including those involving motor vehicle collisions, aviation accidents, products liability, premises liability, medical, and legal malpractice, civil rights, bad faith and defamation. Bob also represented both employers and employees in employment disputes generally handling claims involving employment agreements, change of control agreements, overtime compensation, non-compete agreements and trade secrets. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS Bob has frequently lectured at legal education programs, and has held a number of leadership positions with the Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association. He is also a member of the Arapahoe County and Colorado Bar Associations, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association, and the Denver Tech Center Rotary Club.
