Dr. Satnam Singh

Dr. Satnam Singh is a graduate from Liverpool John Moores University and Coventry University (UK) with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and in a PhD in Engineering and Manufacturing Management. Dr. Satnam has been dynamically involved in the field of Continuous Improvement & been extensively trained in the Lean Systems & Six Sigma whilst working as a six sigma Project Manager for Automotive services industry in the UK for 18 years. Being tasked in promoting & implementing Lean & Six Sigma within the organization throughout Europe, Dr. Satnam has immeasurable knowledge on deploying Lean Six Sigma & succeeded in assisting MNC companies in making revenues. Specialised in 5S, changeover reduction (SMED), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Cellular Layout and various other lean tools, Dr. Satnam has conducted many rounds of lean workshop in the area of workplace improvement, variation and waste reduction, and practical problem solving techniques including statistical tools. Presently, Dr. Satnam has been travelling extensively from Malaysia to Australia. Dr. Satnam is an expert in developing and conducting Six Sigma Champions Training, Black Belt, Green Belt and Yellow Belt training programs for Private Companies, major Government Linked Companies (GLCs) in Malaysia and many other Government Agencies. With the current knowledge & experiences Dr. Satnam's acquires for Six Sigma Deployment includes Automotive, Transportation, Defence, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Logistics, Expressways, Education, General Services, Telecommunication and the Construction Industry For more than 18 years, Dr. Satnam Singh has been delivering process excellence projects, performance improvements, and change management in industries such as automotive, construction, engineering, textile, chemicals, electronics and many product manufacturing companies. Dr. Satnam's most recent success is in the deployment of Lean Six Sigma in a major Government Linked Company in Malaysia, where he trained and coached 11 Black Belts and 17 Green Belts and achieved a savings of RM32million (hard savings) within 12 months of deployment.

He has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Post-graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PRINCE2 foundation certification. His industry operations background spans many different sectors that include high technology precision electronics (Hitachi Semiconductor), heavy industry (Air Radiators), truck manufacture (Iveco), automotive components (DMG-Venture), white goods (Olympic Group), and pharmaceuticals (CSL). In consulting he has been an operations advisor, programme developer, facilitator and project manager with various organizations such as PAC Project Advisors, Australia, ACTZEL Consulting, Australia, Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC) and ARGI Institute of Manufacturing, Penang. He has travelled extensively to conduct projects in Australia, USA, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Egypt and the UAE.

Mr. Harbans Singh

Mr. Harbans Singh, is a graduate of University of East London and holds a Bachelors Degree (Hons) in Information Technology majoring in Software Engineering. He is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt trained by Juran Institute (USA & Korea) under the supervision of Samsung Electronics Asia Pacific. Mr. Harbans has gained over 12 years of working experience both in manufacturing and service industries. Mr. Harbans has an extensive experience in performing statistical analysis by using statistical software (MINITAB) and various quality tools. Harbans is also involved in Innovating Supplier processes using QDC (Quality, Delivery & Cost) improvement and Improving Supplier Processes by utilising OEE and Lean concepts. Harbans major achievements would include the development of Six Sigma Green Belts and Six Sigma Black Belts within Samsung Electronics Asia Pacific Region. Furthermore Harbans mentored Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt projects that contributed to total cost savings about USD$ 15 million during the past 6 years. Harbans also has an extensive experience in developing and conducting Six Sigma Champions Training, Black Belt, Green Belt and Yellow Belt training programs for Private Companies, major Government Linked Companies (GLCs) in Malaysia and many other Government Agencies.
