As a dedicated student in Honduras, Dr. Alan Martinez completed his lengthy undergraduate studies and advanced to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. In 2005 Dr. Martinez completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with Honors in Perú. By 2006, he relocated to New York to accept an invitation to the prestigious Postdoctoral Program at the Eastman Institute of Oral Health at the University of Rochester. He then moved to Northeast Ohio with his family. In 2014, he underwent Fellowship training in Maxillofacial and Orthognathic Surgery at the Center for Dentofacial Deformities and Corrective Jaw Surgery in New York, NY. Dr. Martinez is a proud Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In addition, he has been a professor and an author of numerous publications in prestigious scientific journals with many research affiliations.
As a member of the team at Marino Dental on Darrow, Dr. Martinez brings a level of care, understanding and expertise to increase the specialty services available to expand treatment options to our patients. His role has been pivotal in providing Full Mouth Restoration with dental implants at our practice. With this highly technical and advanced treatment, patients can have all of their teeth removed and 4 to 6 implants placed in one arch that artificial teeth permanently attach to, all in one day. This cutting edge treatment allows a patient to have a fixed appliance that restores their ability to speak and eat which restores their function and confidence.
In his spare time Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with his 2 children, traveling, running, golf and practicing martial arts.
Dr. Angela Marino, is a general dentist practicing in the Greater Cleveland-Akron area since 1991. For the past 5 years she has been honored to be selected by her peers as a TopDentist in Cleveland Magazine and in Akron Life Magazine. Her education began at Capital University in Columbus, OH, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She earned her dental degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she met her future husband Carlo. After completion of her General Practice Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center, Angela Marino, DDS began her private practice career.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Carlo Marino, DDS began his undergraduate studies at the University of Toledo. In 1990, at The Ohio State University, he earned his DDS degree and met his future wife Angela, also a dentist. Following dental school, he completed his general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Marino has proudly been recognized 6 years in a row as the #1 Dentist, Most Innovative Workplace and Person of the Year Finalists for 2022 by readers of the Akron Beacon Journal Best of the Best. As owner of Marino Dental on Darrow for nearly 30 years, he feels everyone has the right to quality dental care. He has devoted his career to extensive advanced continuing education in dental implant placement & restoration for over 20 years and along with his providers has placed 10,000 dental implants. Additionally, Dr. Marino is a member of the Thommen Medical Lecture Team and Advisory Board, a world leader in implant fabrication using Swiss technology.
Dr. Marino and our board-certified oral surgeons offer procedures that replace "all" of the teeth in either the upper or the lower jaw using 4, 5 or sometimes 6 dental implants. Dr. Marino exclusively uses Chrome technology with Roe Dental Lab, a leader in implant lab technology. He takes pride in ensuring all of his affiliated locations have a stellar staff and practitioners to provide the same level of care he deems necessary to serve surrounding communities properly. All office locations are state of the art with digital radiography, Cone Beam Scanners, and full OSHA & HIPAA compliance.
As an honor student and scholar recipient, Dr. Mandana Mozayeni studied dentistry at The Ohio State University. She later traveled to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve University to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She remained at Case Western Reserve University three additional years to earn a Master of Science in Dentistry with a specialization in Orthodontics.
Dr. Mozayeni is a current, proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Great Lake Association of Orthodontics, and the Cleveland Dental Society. During her career she has authored numerous publications in prestigious scientific journals with many research affiliations. Additionally, she speaks fluent French, Persian and German.
We are proud to add Dr. Mozayeni to our team of specialists at State Valley Dental. Her extensive expertise in the field of orthodontics provides our patients the convenience of having a wide range of orthodontic services all under one roof at our State Valley Dental location in Cuyahoga Falls.
In her spare time Dr. Mozayeni enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing, and cooking. She enjoys staying active with skiing, swimming, horseback riding, running and yoga. When her schedule allows she loves visiting and spending time with her daughter, Taraneh in Boston.
A Northeast Ohio native, Dr. Michael Marino is excited to return to his hometown community to provide excellent dental care. Dr. Marino graduated from Loyola University of Chicago, Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he served on his class Executive Board. While in dental school, he was honored to be selected as OSU's Team Dentist allowing him to treat student athletes and make their game day mouthguards.
Afterward, he continued his dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. During this time, he gained experience with managing patients with complex medical histories and dental trauma. In addition, he spent several months at the Hines VA where he learned from their Oral Surgery team about various procedures such as implant placement. He furthered his training by completing additional coursework with Thommen Medical to further his implant placement experience. Lastly, he is a proud member of the ADA (American Dental Association) and ODA (Ohio Dental Association).
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Marino enjoys hiking, fishing, volunteering, and spending time with friends & family. He is excited to help his patients achieve their oral health needs and see them smile with confidence.

Dr. Paige Barry was born and raised in northeast Ohio. She earned her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Marietta College and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Barry furthered her formal education by completing a general practice residency at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. After graduation, she lived in Pittsburgh with her fiancé Zack, but could not have been more excited to be given the opportunity to return home and practice dentistry in Cuyahoga Falls with State Valley Dental.
Dr. Barry is a proud member of the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association. She is passionate about providing her patients with high quality current dental treatment and does so through continuing education opportunities with Thommen Medical's Dental Implant Placement Course. She enjoys getting to know her patients and easing anxiety while in the dental chair. In her free time, Dr. Barry loves baking, spin classes, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Terrence Chung has been practicing dentistry for over 26 years and has proudly been recognized as one of Beacon's Best Dentists for numerous years in a row. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992 and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Michigan in 1996. Upon graduating he did a one year dental residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center in Cleveland,Ohio. At MetroHealth he gained additional experience treating a wide range of patients, many with compromised medical conditions.
Dr. Chung has been with State Valley since 2003. While Dr Chung enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has invested additional time in advanced coursework for placement and restoration of dental implants with Thommen Medical. Terrence Chung, DDS continues to keep up with the latest in dental technology and is motivated in providing good quality dental care to all his patients.
Dr. Chung, currently resides in Fairlawn, Ohio. His hobbies include walks in parks, bicycling, music, reading, picnicking and travel.
