Andres Medina

Andres Medina is the Office Manager and a Paraprofessional for MCA Financial Group. Andres initially joined MCA Financial as an intern in 2014. He subsequently took a position at another company, where he continued strengthening both his customer service and data analysis skills. Andres then returned to MCA, assuming the roles of Paraprofessional and Office Manager. As Office Manager, Andres ensures that office needs are met so that the firm can run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He manages and oversees the firm's billing process and vendor relations, and he coordinates with team members on various client/firm activities.

Brandon Banks

Brandon is a senior associate at MCA financial group specializing in restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. Brandon draws from his experience in data science, corporate accounting, and investment analysis to transform financial information into meaningful insights for clients. Working closely with senior managers, he leverages this technical expertise to produce impactful solutions to complex business problems. During his time at MCA, Brandon has created dynamic operational models to unlock value during corporate transactions, stabilize distressed finances, and improve operations for profit enhancement. Prior to joining the firm, Brandon was an analyst at a multi-family office where he developed bespoke financial models to drive capital decisions on over $200MM of assets. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a BSBA in finance. He was also a lead analyst for the university endowment fund where he researched, analyzed, and traded securities to generate returns for future generations of students. Outside of work, Brandon enjoys snow sports, classical piano, and culinary arts.

Carrie Aaron - COO

Carrie is the Director of Operations and Strategic Planning. Since MCA Financial Group's inception in 2000, Carrie has taken on various supportive roles, including overseeing the build-out of MCA's offices, recruitment, and website development. Before expanding her role at MCA Financial Group in 2020, Carrie opened and operated a luxury women's lingerie and sleepwear boutique in Phoenix, creating the brand, managing all aspects of the business, and growing a loyal clientele. Carrie sold the operation in December 2019. Carrie has volunteered for and continues to be involved in many local nonprofits, helping to better the community through hands-on work and by serving on boards and committees. Carrie graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Sociology. She earned a Master of Arts in Sociology from New York University, specializing in criminology, law, and family. As adjunct faculty, Carrie taught courses in sociology at NYU, Gateway Community College, Arizona State University, and South Mountain Community College. Carrie is the mother of three wonderful children, a tri-colored Australian Shepherd, and one desert tortoise. She enjoys traveling, gardening, playing piano, and running. She is married to (and closely supervises while out of the office) MCA's president, Morrie Aaron.

Daniel Gushin

Daniel is a Director with MCA Financial Group. He has a background in litigation support, forensic accounting, business disputes, and investigative matters and has worked in a broad range of industries, including financial & professional services, construction, real estate, transportation, agriculture, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, among others. Prior to joining MCA Financial Group, Daniel worked at Charles River Associates, within their Forensic Services practice, where he worked on complex litigation and investigative matters. He was involved in matters related to allegations of fraud, misappropriation of assets, white-collar crime, economic damages, partnership disputes, post-acquisition disputes, and accounting issues. Daniel graduated from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a B.S.B in both Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona and the state of Illinois. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys exploring Phoenix hiking trails and restaurants with his wife Natalie and their dog Reuben.

Evan Dosch - Managing Director

Evan Dosch is a Managing Director with MCA Financial Group. Evan has experience in corporate financial analysis, forecasting, and investment analysis. He has worked in various industries including manufacturing, distribution, and IT security. Evan worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for Trustwave Holdings, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for financial analysis, forecasting, and business planning for the IT, Engineering, HR, Legal, and Facilities departments. Before Trustwave, Evan worked in several finance and accounting positions at Caterpillar. Most recently, he served as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Electric Power Division. His primary responsibility in this position was building discounted cash flow models and valuation analysis of new projects. Evan graduated from Arizona State University with an M.B.A and an M.S. in Finance. He also received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Illinois State University. Evan is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona. Evan is a CFA® Charterholder. In his free time, Evan enjoys traveling, golf, skiing, and paddle boarding. He has been to over 30 Major League Baseball parks with his Dad.

Holly Daetwyler - Managing Director

Holly Daetwyler is a Managing Director with MCA Financial Group. Holly has over 20 years of experience in litigation support, dispute resolution, financial forensics, accounting, and general business consulting. She works with a variety of clients ranging in size from small privately held businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Her industry experience includes construction, trucking, biotech, software, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing, among others. Holly serves as a strategic resource for her clients, regularly advising internal and external legal counsel, boards of directors, executive management and other stakeholders on matters related to economic damages, purchase price disputes, internal investigations, accounting issues, receiverships and M&A transactions. Prior to joining MCA, Holly worked in Grant Thornton's Forensic Advisory Services practice where she served as a national lead for purchase price dispute consulting and resolution, contract compliance inspections, complex litigation projects, international fraud investigations, and accounting reconstructions. She regularly presented on such topics at law firms, universities, and other organizations. Holly also worked in Deloitte's Assurance Services practice where she managed multiple financial statement audit engagements for both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries. Holly is an active Board Member for the Turnaround Management Association Arizona Chapter and co-chairs the programs committee. Holly graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S in both Accounting and Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona, holds the Certified in Financial Forensics credential, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jack has a strong background in business valuation and real estate appraisal, corporate finance and accounting, and cash and treasury management. Jack has worked on litigation cases involving utility companies, franchise operations, manufacturing, real estate, and other industries. Prior to joining MCA, Jack served as the Senior V.P. of Financial Planning & Treasurer of Employee Solutions, Inc., a national publicly traded firm with revenues of $900 million, where he oversaw all facets of financial planning, pricing, and analysis as well as the cash management and treasury functions. Prior to Employee Solutions, Jack was a Manager in the Economic & Financial Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen LLP, where was a Certified Public Accountant specializing in corporate recovery services and litigation support services. Jack also has worked internationally as a public auditor, for the predecessor of Ernst & Young, LLC, in Cambridge, England; and he has experience with a commercial real estate valuation and appraisal firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Jack holds a B.S. in Finance and M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Arizona State University. Keith Bierman is a Senior Managing Director with MCA. Keith has over twenty years of experience representing companies, lenders, and private equity sponsors in the areas of business turnarounds, financial restructurings, Chapter 11 reorganizations, distressed and non-distressed sales and divestures, asset recovery, mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, financial management, and performance improvement. Keith has served as a court-appointed receiver, trustee, or special master in over one hundred matters across many varied industries and businesses. As a receiver, Keith is responsible for all executive-level aspects of the businesses over which he has authority. His industry experience is broad and includes aviation and defense, service, mining, manufacturing, retail, home building, construction, commercial real estate, hospitality, cannabis, financial services, commercial lending, and information technology, among others. Keith is a recognized expert in subjects common in complex litigation matters. He has been qualified as an expert witness in over fifty cases in Superior Court, Federal Court, and various arbitration proceedings in the areas of economic damages, lost profits, royalties, tax matters, GAAP accounting, forensic accounting, interest rates, bankruptcy plan feasibility, and valuation. Prior to joining MCA, Keith served as the Controller and VP of Finance for Homebid.com, a venture capital backed real estate technology services provider, where he was a member of the executive team and managed all aspects of the finance and accounting department. Keith began his career at KPMG, LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm, in the Assurance and Business Advisory Practice, where he managed complex audits and led consulting engagements for private and public companies across various industries. Keith graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Keith is a member of The Phoenix Thunderbirds, a civic organization and host of the Waste Management Phoenix Open that has raised and donated over $175 million to Phoenix-area charities. Keith is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing and mountain biking, as well as spending time with his wife and four children.

Kosta Michailidis

Kosta Michailidis is a Senior Associate at MCA Financial Group, where he brings a strong background in corporate accounting, investment analysis, data analytics, microeconomic theory, and financial and statistical modeling. Kosta is driven by a genuine curiosity for continuous learning and has a passion for creative problem-solving. Before joining the team, Kosta gained valuable experience in accounting while working at a property management firm. There, he managed the day-to-day accounting operations and handled monthly financials for a portfolio of 12 multi-family residential properties. Additionally, he interned with an asset holding firm, where he focused on investment financial analysis using financial modeling to evaluate the performance of publicly traded firms and determine their valuation. Kosta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Arizona. During his master's program, Kosta also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where he worked collaboratively with students and instructors to enhance the student-faculty relationship and improve the delivery of class material. Outside work, Kosta is an avid sports fan and enjoys cooking and traveling.

Morrie Aaron is the founder and president of MCA Financial Group, Ltd, and is a nationally recognized and highly regarded expert in the business advisory industry. Morrie has over three decades of hands-on experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, capital formation, business valuation, restructuring, and interim crisis management. He has consulted to companies with revenues ranging from $5 million to $1 billion across a broad range of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, retail, technology, waste disposal services, oil & gas services, and distribution. Additionally, Morrie has successfully negotiated business and asset sale transactions, debt restructuring transactions, and reorganizations both in and out of court. Prior to founding MCA Financial Group, Morrie served as an executive officer of two public companies in the roles of chief financial officer, treasurer, and operations manager. He spent ten years with Arthur Andersen in New York and Phoenix, where he specialized in turnaround and restructuring advisory, corporate finance / M&A, business valuation, and accounting / financial reporting. Morrie graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Accounting and received an M.B.A. in Management and Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He lectured at the Wharton School and The Pennsylvania State University on business turnarounds, and he was an adjunct faculty member in the Graduate School of Business at Arizona State University, where he taught a course on business turnarounds. Morrie was a director of an Arizona-based public company and has served on the boards of non-profit organizations. Paul specializes in operational and financial restructuring, dispositions, and liquidations of underperforming or over-leveraged companies to maximize stakeholder values. Paul's financial, operational, and restructuring experience includes companies in home building, real estate, manufacturing, retail, semi-conductor, equipment rental, and medical diagnostic. He is involved in all aspects of the restructuring process, including the development and implementation of capital structure solutions, strategic business plans, short-term turnaround and funding strategies, and guiding companies during crisis situations. Paul has worked with numerous companies on out-of-court restructurings as well as Chapter 11 proceedings, including the successful restructuring and sale of a national chain of imaging diagnostic centers, a Phoenix-based pool builder, and a national retailer of subscription-based wireless services. Debt restructurings include $150 million in debt of a Phoenix-based homebuilder. Liquidations include a Phoenix-based heavy equipment rental company and a Utah-based window manufacturer. Paul has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance, operations management, and treasury management, having served as CFO of a $400 million (sales) privately held retailer of subscription-based wireless services, treasurer of a $2 billion (sales) private equity-backed rollup of a homebuilding materials manufacturer and supplier, and treasurer of a $1 billion (sales) publicly traded national retailer. Paul earned a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a certified cash manager.

Pranav Reddy

Before joining MCA Financial Group, Pranav gained valuable experience as a finance intern at an investment firm, where he actively contributed to building models, conducted primary research on companies, and played a part in trading securities, handling compliance duties, and account reconciliation. During his time as a quantitative analyst, Pranav worked extensively with big data, using data analysis techniques and exploring machine learning models to provide actionable insights and recommendations for management. In addition to his professional achievements, Pranav demonstrated remarkable communication and leadership skills during his role as the president of a community and social organization - the Om Indian Student Association - in college. These qualities undoubtedly are an asset to MCA Financial Group. Pranav holds a B.S.B.A degree from the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business, with a finance concentration and a statistics minor. While an undergraduate, he served as an analyst at the Tartan Student Fund, analyzing financial statements, investigating growth catalysts for companies, and confidently pitching investment ideas to his peers. Rowen Fletcher

Rowen Fletcher is a Senior Associate with MCA Financial Group. Before joining the MCA team, Rowen gained solid finance experience from several internships in areas of real estate, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment management, and corporate finance. He brings strong communication, valuation, and modeling skills to the firm, as well as a passion for collaboration and problem-solving. As a capital markets intern, Rowen assisted in underwriting commercial real estate transactions and developed expertise with Argus Commercial Real Estate Software and CoStar. In his role as an M&A business development analyst, Rowen worked closely with the analyst team to identify potential acquisition targets and created a database of 1000+ targets and a visual deliverable of findings. And while working as an investment student analyst, Rowen researched equity and fixed-income investment, produced weekly pitches tailored to market conditions and investment objectives, and managed client relationships. Rowen has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and recently earned his Master of Science degree in finance from The University of Arizona's Eller College of Management. While attending college, he was a member of the Dean's List with Distinction, received the Allsup Engagement Award and the Fielding-Singh Senior Award, and was an Eller Centurion Honorary. Scott Schryver is a Senior Managing Director with MCA Financial Group. Before joining MCA, Scott worked in the commercial banking and finance industry for more than 35 years. Most recently, Scott was a Senior Vice President serving as a Division Manager and Regional Credit Manager for Wells Fargo & Company, responsible for multiple offices in the Southwest United States. He managed a group of 20 team members and was responsible for over 110 clients providing in excess of $4 billion in loan commitments. Most of Scott's banking experience was devoted to providing middle-market operating companies with working capital financing solutions. As a collaborative leader, Scott became a trusted advisor to his many corporate clients guiding them on M&A transactions, divestitures, working capital challenges, budgeting models, capital structures, growth initiatives, dispute resolution matters, and staffing needs. Scott's diverse client list includes contractors, manufacturers, distributors, importers, building products companies, and retailers. Typical client revenues ranged between $5 million and $1 billion per annum. Scott's experience also includes guiding and advising companies seeking financing for bankruptcy and restructuring, turnaround, high growth rate, acquisition, and buyout purposes. Scott has extensive experience in credit approvals, credit administration, relationship management, marketing, compliance, talent management, and leadership. Responsible for bottom-line results for the offices he managed, Scott is skilled in budgeting and managing a business for results. Stacie Witten is a Senior Managing Director with MCA Financial Group. Stacie has over 24 years of experience in finance and accounting. She has significant experience in the areas of business analysis, accounting operations, cash management, and financial systems, including establishing and managing complex financial systems. She works closely with clients to identify operational strengths and weaknesses, to develop plans to improve cash flow, and to execute changes that lead to greater profitability. She has consulted in a broad range of industries, including healthcare, distribution, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, mortgage lending, restaurant, and other service industries. Stacie has most recently been involved in receivership and forensic accounting engagements, advising secured creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, managing the financial operations for both a manufacturer and waste management company, and advising on financial restructuring, forecasting, and refinance activities for troubled companies. Prior to joining MCA Financial Group, Stacie served as the V.P. of Financial Systems of Employee Solutions, Inc., a publicly traded company with revenues of $900 million, where she oversaw all facets of accounting operations and financial systems including participation in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Employee Solutions, Stacie held corporate controller positions for private companies in both the restaurant and the import/distribution industries. In these positions she managed all aspects of the financial and accounting operations, including developing banking and auditor relationships, financial forecasting, and redesigning financial systems. Stacie holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Arizona.
