A French CPA who holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS from Reims Management School (France), Alexandra Suhas joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer in 2010 and became Partner in 2013.
Prior to joining Marie Landel & Associates, Alexandra worked for 15 years at KPMG in Paris where she coordinated French and foreign reporting audits, provided advisory services for governance and risk monitoring, and assisted clients with acquisitions and divestitures. She also worked as internal audit director, Europe, Middle East & Africa, for Alcan (Canadian Aluminum Group), where her primary role was to restructure and grow the internal audit department after the company's merger with Pechiney. In that capacity, she also led multiple M&A due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.
Alexandra serves as foreign trade advisor to the French government in New England (Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France).

Amna Atiq joined Axelia Partners in 2021 as an Account Manager with 10 years of professional experience in auditing and accounting.
Previously, Amna worked in mid-size public accounting firms where she assisted public and private companies, as well as non-profit organizations. Her clients operated in various industries, including technology, life sciences, manufacturing and distribution. During her tenure in public accounting, she worked closely with her clients to help implement US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and strong internal controls.
Amna holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from SUNY College of Old Westbury. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of CPAs.

Anas Marrakchi joined Axelia Partners in 2019 as Senior Account Manager, bringing over 12 years of experience in accounting and auditing. He is now in charge of the New York office and advises a diverse portfolio of clients in all aspects of accounting, reporting, auditing, and taxes.
Prior to Axelia Partners, Anas worked for eight years as Senior Auditor in several Moroccan accounting firms, including six years with PwC Morocco. He relocated to the US in 2015 to work with US-based accounting and tax services firms, where he supervised accounting and tax operations for US subsidiaries of French corporations.
Anas graduated from ISCAE Morocco, with a BA equivalent in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a BA equivalent in Accounting (DGC) from the Paris-based CNAM INTEC. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Carine Jamal-Eddine joined Axelia Partners in 2012 and is leading our Payroll Department.
At Axelia Partners, Carine provides guidance and leadership in payroll and benefits to a team of three administrators, and she is directly administrating the largest accounts' payroll.
Carine has over 15 years of experience in payroll management's. Her prior positions have been as Payroll Manager for large French public organizations including INRIA, the French Institute for Research in Computer Science, and École des Ponts ParisTech.
Carine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Université Paris XI.

Céline Tariel joined Axelia Partners in 2017 as Talent Acquisition Manager and was recently promoted to Talent Acquisition Director. She has over 16 years of experience in advising companies in all aspects of recruiting such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, on-boarding and relocation services. She uses her cross-cultural expertise to advise clients on best hiring practices and strategies to be successful in the US. Céline recruits talents for both clients and Axelia Partners.
Before moving to the U.S., Céline worked as Manager for global staffing firms, including Adecco and Expectra Randstad Group in France.
Céline Tariel holds a Postgraduate Certificate in International Business from the Alliance Manchester Business School, Manchester, UK, and a Master from Ecole Supérieure de Vente in France.

Estelle Pellegrin is VP of Operations and CFO of Axelia Partners. She oversees the delivery of the firm's full range of business solutions to client organizations, and leads the optimization effort of systems and procedures. She plays a key role in managing Axelia Partners' growth, ensuring optimum processes and working standards at any time.
Estelle has more than 20 years of expertise as CFO of French companies owned by European and American groups in the healthcare and the logistics industries. She is well versed in all strategic and operational aspects of finance, reporting and accounting in international business environments.
Prior to joining Axelia Partners in 2015 as Account Manager, Estelle was CFO of Vivisol Healthcare France.
Estelle holds a Master in Accounting and Finance, and an undergraduate degree from a French business school.

Ina Mehmeti joined Axelia Partners in 2016 as Payroll Administrator and was recently promoted to Payroll Manager. She came to us with more than eighteen years of financial analysis and reconciliation experience, and an eagerness to administer payroll for our clients.
Ina continuously demonstrates the ability to work effectively with any team, and to complete projects successfully and in a timely manner. With her dedication, positive attitude and willingness to embrace new initiatives, Ina plays a key role in the success of Axelia Partners' Payroll Department.
Prior to joining Axelia Partners, Ina worked as Overpayment Analyst at Hewlett Packard/NHIC, Portfolio Analyst at State Street Global Advisors, Mutual Fund Audit Specialist at State Street Cooperation, and Investment Reconciliation Analyst at State Street Research and Management.
In her spare time, Ina enjoys volunteering, traveling, cooking, and going for long walks with a cup of coffee in her hand.

Jake Balling joined Axelia Partners in 2017 as a Senior Account Manager. Jake is responsible for the client delivery of our full range of business solutions. He brings 30 years of expertise as a Corporate Controller and CFO of both French and US owned companies primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, biotechnology, transportation, EPCM and business services sectors.
Prior to joining Axelia Partners, Jake served as Senior Director Finance of Sanofi-Genzyme based in Boston. He has additional experience with Valeo Automotive, DURA Systems, Alstom, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Areva Solar, A.C. Nielsen / D&B France and BDO CPAs Accountants, Auditors and Tax Advisors based in their New York City and Paris Offices. Jake has worked in France, Canada and Germany on several international assignments.

Philippe Suhas provides guidance and leadership to Axelia Partners regarding strategy, business development and new consulting services. In 2016, he spearheaded the creation and development of the staffing and recruitment practice of Axelia Partner, Talent Search.
Philippe has held several global executive positions in large, publicly traded companies in Europe and in the U.S. at both Valeo (automotive) as General Manager of one of their largest divisions and Sperian (now part of Honeywell Life Safety) as Senior Vice President in charge of EMEA and later as President of their largest businesses based in the U.S. In that role, he managed various M&A transactions, integration and restructuring, including recruitment and value creation efforts. Prior to joining Axelia Partners in 2016, Philippe was working in the Private Equity (PE) sector as Operating Partner, Chairman of the Board and CEO of PE-owned companies.
Philippe currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the International School of Boston.
Philippe holds an Engineering degree from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG) and an MBA from HEC (France).

Séverine Bussière joined Axelia Partners in 2016 as an Accountant and was recently promoted to Account Manager.
With more than 14 years of experience in accounting, auditing and finance, including 7 years in a French CPA firm, Séverine is knowledgeable in both French and US audit and accounting standards. She provides Axelia Partners' clients with timely, accurate and compliant accounting services, performing their monthly bookkeeping, preparing reporting files and validating payroll. She takes pride in educating and advising her clients on the difference between the two countries' accounting and audit systems.
Well-versed on both the North-American and French accounting and auditing methods, Séverine can easily explain the differences to the French teams of her clients, and provide thorough advice. Her experience in both countries enables her to facilitate exchanges between the French teams and various US partners, including tax professionals during the tax return preparation period.
