Amy Jedlicka - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

Amy Jedlicka brings a diverse background in real estate law to the Marx team. From 2015-2017, she served as SVP & General Counsel at the Hudson River Park Trust and from 2006-2015, as SVP & General Counsel at Trinity Real Estate. Ms. Jedlicka previously practiced real estate law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett for 15 years. A native New Yorker, Ms. Jedlicka graduated from magna cum laude from Yale University and received a J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Anne Willaum

  • Administrative Assistant
Anne Willaum provides support for the Cross County Shopping Center management team and is responsible for payroll and Human Resources coordination. Anne joined Marx Realty in January 2020 as an administrative assistant at Cross County Shopping Center where she is responsible for creating lease agreements for storage and specialty tenants, as well as preparing financial reports. Anne has over 25 years of experience within the advertising and retail real estate industries, having previously worked for Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey Advertising, prior to joining the Cross County team in 2015. Anne has an Associate Degree from The Berkley School and is a notary public.

Carl Calabro

Carl Calabro joined Marx Realty in January 2020 as the Senior Manager of Property Management at Cross County Center. Carl has over 25 years of experience within the retail real estate industry, having previously worked for Macerich, Tropicana Casino Resort, Wilmorite and other national development companies. Carl graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Marketing from Salisbury University in Maryland and is an active member of the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce and Business Council of Westchester.

Catherine Kim

Catherine joined Marx Realty in February 2022 as a Property Accountant. Catherine is responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings, as well as lease administration for Cross County Center. Prior to joining Marx, Catherine worked at Kimco Realty Corporation for 14 years and Tishman Speyer for 3 years. Catherine brings her vast knowledge and experience in commercial real estate, property accounting, financial reporting and analysis to the Marx team. Catherine received her MBA in Accounting from Baruch College in 2003.

Charlie Hakimi

Charlie Hakimi joined Marx Realty in February of 2023. As an Associate, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing acquisition opportunities and asset management across the Marx portfolio. Prior to joining Marx, Charlie worked at Avison Young, operating on the valuation & advisory team as an appraiser. Charlie graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.

Colin Burke

Colin Burke assists in overseeing property operations, capital improvements & tenant relations across our national portfolio. Colin joined the Marx Realty team in January 2020 from Boston Properties, where he worked on teams that managed the 2M SF General Motors Building and the 1M SF 90 Church Street location, both located in Manhattan. Colin is currently pursuing his Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) International. He graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Operations Management.

Craig M. Deitelzweig - CEO, President

Craig joined Marx Realty as its President and CEO in 2017 and has been responsible for growing the company as well as streamlining the company's strategy by focusing on value-add office investments in three core markets: New York City, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Craig is also charged with repositioning Marx's entire portfolio as well as growing the Marx team and profitability. Over his 25-year career, Craig has vast experience in every aspect of the real estate industry and believes in a very hands-on approach. Prior to Marx, he held senior roles at both private equity and private development companies, including redeveloping over 50 assets in major markets across the country with a particular emphasis on NY and DC. Craig's projects have received various awards from industry groups such as NAIOP, BOMA, Globe St., Crain's, Washington Business Journal and AIA. He has been interviewed as a thought and innovation leader in several features in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Bloomberg and on CNBC, and was selected as one of the Real Estate Forum's Best Bosses of 2019. Under Craig's leadership, Marx was selected to Crain's Best Places to Work in 2020 and 2021. Craig was named to the 2020 and 2021 Commercial Observer's Power 100 List. Craig previously practiced law in the real estate and litigation departments at Skadden before transitioning to the business side of the industry. Craig graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University's Freeman School of Business (where he currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Advisory Board) and earned a J.D. at Fordham University's School of Law. Craig serves on the Mixed-Use Council of the Urban Land Institute as a ULI mentor and on the Strategic Advisory Council of Shadow Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in PropTech investments.

Danny S. Santos

Danny Santos joined Marx Realty and Improvement Co., Inc. as an accountant in 1998. Prior to joining Marx Realty, Danny was an accountant at a leading food retail chain company in the Middle East. He assumed the position of Controller in 2007. Danny is responsible for the financial reporting and is a key player in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for Marx Realty's properties, as well as working with outside accountants for year-end GAAP audits. He oversees accuracy and productivity of all aspects of the property accounting operations including, but not limited to, leasing and escalation reconciliations, acquisitions, redevelopments, dispositions, and management. Danny also ensures compliance with local and state government regulations concerning miscellaneous taxes and license registration/renewal requirements. Danny received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is a certified accountant.

Dena Stefanopoulos

Dena Stefanopoulos serves as office manager for the Cross County Shopping Center team and provides support for its operations, marketing and security departments. Dena joined Marx Realty in January 2020 as an administrative assistant at Cross County Shopping Center where she is responsible for writing philanthropic grant proposals, contributing content to the center's website and managing responses to thousands of consumer reviews. Dena has 17 years of experience within the financial and retail real estate industries, having previously worked for Paychex and Delaware Street Capital, prior to joining the Cross County team in 2013. Dena has previously studied at Westchester Community College.

Frankie Kelly

Frankie Kelly oversees multiple construction projects and manages the day to day operations and needs for multiple of New York properties. He works also closely with our accounts payable department and is responsible for processing invoices and getting our vendors paid in a timely manner. He joined the Marx Realty team in May of 2018 from UHY Advisors where he served as a Staff Accountant. Frankie is currently pursuing his Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) International. He graduated from SUNY Oneonta, New York State University with a degree in Business Economics and a Communication Minor.

Henry S. Henderson

Henry Henderson joined Marx Realty & Improvement Co., Inc. in February of 2015 as Vice President of Leasing. Henry has over 18 years of national, leasing experience. Henry started as a retail broker in 2002 working for Robert K. Futterman & Associates, before transitioning to the ownership side of real estate. Henry moved to Brookfield Properties as Director, Retail Leasing, overseeing the retail space in Brookfield's office towers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. He worked on such high-profile projects as the redevelopment and re-tenanting of the World Financial Center, the iconic Grace Building and The Fig at 7th in Downtown L.A. Prior to joining Marx Realty & Improvement Co., Inc., Henry was Director of Urban Leasing at Acadia Realty Trust. Henry oversaw Acadia's nationwide, urban portfolio, working on transactions in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C and Miami. Henry is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, as well as the Real Estate Board of New York. Henry received his Bachelor of Arts from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Jack Kraus

Jack Kraus joined Marx Realty & Improvement in June of 2015. As an VP of Acquisitions & Asset Management, he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing acquisition opportunities and asset management across the Marx portfolio. Prior to joining Marx, Jack interned for Archegos Capital Management, a family investment office focused on public equities and Credit Suisse HOLT, an equity valuation & advisory group within the Investment Bank. Jack received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from St. Lawrence University.

Jagdish K. Shah - CFO

Jagdish Shah has worked for Marx Realty and Improvement Co., Inc. both as an outside accountant and an officer for over 25 years. Prior to joining Marx as Controller in 1991, Mr. Shah worked for six years as a public accountant for Frank and Zimmerman. In 2007, he assumed the title of Chief Financial Officer at Marx. Mr. Shah is a member of AICPA and New York State Society of CPAs. He has been a certified public accountant since 1987 and a chartered accountant since 1978. Mr. Shah received his B.S. with a major in accounting from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India in 1975.

Jamie Cekaj

Jamie Cekaj is responsible for managing Cross County Shopping Center's $4 million-dollar operating budget and maintenance of all physical assets for the 70-acre property. Jamie joined Marx Realty in January 2020 as the operations manager for Cross County Shopping Center where she oversees capital projects, vendor relations, tenant construction, housekeeping, landscaping, and general property upkeep, as well as a union staff of 25 employees. Jamie has over 25 years of experience within the commercial and residential property management industries, having previously worked for Simon Property Group and CBRE (previously Insignia/ESG), prior to joining the Cross County Shopping Center Team in 2017. Jamie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Gerontology from the University of South Florida.

Jeffrey T. Young

Jeffrey Young joined Marx Realty in March of 2021 as Director of Construction and is responsible for overseeing the entire construction process throughout our portfolio, including project management, design development, pre-construction, contract negotiations, and architectural and engineering design oversight with a focus on a positive customer experience. Jeff joins Marx from EQ Office, where he served as Senior Manager of Construction and was involved in all aspects of construction and development, including such projects as 1740 Broadway repositioning, Park Avenue Tower and 44 Wall Street. Prior to EQ Office, he worked in the luxury retail group at Shawmut Design & Construction, where he played an integral role in major luxury retail projects in New York City. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

JOHN SANO

John Sano is responsible for the monthly accounting closing procedures for 10 Grand Central including processing accounts receivable and accounts payable and maintaining the general ledger. His responsibilities also includes tracking construction project costs for several other properties in our portfolio. Additionally, he provides analysis and review for our monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements. John joined Marx Realty in August 2020 with 10 years experience in the accounting industry in both private and public accounting. Before joining Marx, he was a Property Accountant with RXR Realty. John is a Certified Public Accountant since 2015 and received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the State University of New York at Cortland.

Josiah Brock

Josiah Brock oversees property operations, capital improvements & tenant relations across our national portfolio. Josiah joins Marx from Brickman Associates, where he was responsible for overseeing a 1M SF portfolio located in Manhattan, Long Island City, and Brooklyn. Prior to Brickman, Josiah worked as a Property Manager for Monday Properties where he managed 230 Park Avenue & 386 Park Avenue South. He began his career working for Tishman Speyer as an Assistant Property Manager at Rockefeller Center & The Chrysler Building and then as the General Manager of Retail at Rockefeller Center. Josiah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Performing Arts Management from the University of Hartford.

Keith C. Colton

Keith Colton is Vice President of Property Management at Marx Realty. Mr. Colton joins Marx from Himmel & Meringoff Properties, where he served as Vice President managing a portfolio of commercial office buildings throughout the New York City area. Prior to Himmel & Meringoff, he worked in various management roles with Brookfield Properties, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, and RFR Realty, overseeing over 4 million square feet of retail and office space. Mr. Colton graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Liz Pollack joined Marx Realty in January 2020 as the senior manager of marketing at one of the nation's original outdoor shopping destinations, Cross County Shopping Center. Liz has over 20 years of experience within the retail real estate industry, having previously worked for Macerich and Brookfield Properties (previously General Growth Properties, Inc.), throughout the country. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of North Florida, she continued her education by earning the Certified Marketing Director designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers in 2005. Liz sits on the board of directors for the NY/NJ Council of Shopping Centers and Yonkers Chamber of Commerce and works diligently to support organizations such as Feeding Westchester, Yonkers Partners in Education and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Family Services of Westchester.

Mariela Beauchamp

Mariela Beauchamp creates & curates digital media content & drives brand awareness through social campaigns in addition to leading the production of promotional materials. Mariela joined the Marx team in April of 2019 with experience in internet marketing campaigns with Center for the Development of Women (DOMOS) in Santiago, Chile. She has served as a content creator & curator, as well as event coordinator, for the International Peace and Conflict Resolution Graduate Program at American University. Mariela graduated magna cum laude from American University's School of International Service with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and a concentration in International Development & Latin America, as well as a French Language Minor.

Mark A. Utreras

Mark joined the Marx team in November of 2019 and serves as Vice President of Leasing. He is responsible for leasing at the 1.2 million square foot Cross County Center. Prior to Marx, he served as Associate Director at Newmark representing a number of prominent landlords and developers including Brause Realty, Carmel Partners, GFP Real Estate, Muss Development, RPW Group, RXR Realty, SL Green Realty, and Triumph Hotels. Mark has completed lease transactions with a value in excess of $650 million. Mark received a Master of Science degree in real estate from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and business from Hofstra University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mary Wong

Mary Wong's responsibilities include processing vendor payments, tenant billings and rent payments, reconcile multiple bank accounts for some properties. She joined the Marx team in May of 2002 from Country Road Australia, where she served as Accountant in the Cash Management Department for 10 years. Previously, Mary served as Bookkeeper at Carter Hale Stores, Inc. for 6 years. Mary graduated from Queensborough Community College with a degree in Secretary of Science and later went on to graduate from Queens College with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting.

Miguel Vergara

Miguel Vergara serves as an operations coordinator for the Cross County Center team and joined Marx Realty in January 2020. Miguel assists the operations manager in overseeing the facilities program at the 70 acre outdoor shopping center. He is responsible for supervising and scheduling 25 union staff employees and assists in implementing capital projects and with landscaping, snow removal and tenant construction. Additionally, Miguel oversees logistics for all special event set-ups at Cross County. He has over 15 years of experience in the facility and housekeeping industry, having previously worked in Manhattan at the World Trade Center Oculus, Twitter, Tumblr, State Farm and MLB offices. Miguel attended the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Major in Computer Graphics.

Paul A. DiCarlo

Paul DiCarlo joined Marx Realty & Improvement in October of 2017 as Managing Director, specializing in acquisitions and asset management. Mr. DiCarlo joins Marx from Macklowe Properties, where he served as Vice President and was involved in all aspects of real estate investment and development, including such projects such as 432 Park Avenue, One Wall Street and 200 East 59th Street. Prior to Macklowe, he worked in the acquisitions group at Rockrose, where he played an integral role in transactions totaling $1.4 billion. Mr. DiCarlo received his MBA degree from Columbia University and undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts.

ROCCO V. DESERTO

Simone Solomon

Simone Solomon serves as an operations coordinator for the Cross County Shopping Center team and joined Marx Realty in January 2020. Simone assists the operations manager in overseeing the facilities program at the 70 acre outdoor shopping center. She is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff and monitors their day-to-day performance. She also partners with the operations manger to monitor tenant storefronts and ensure they are up to visual standards. Simone has over 15 years of experience in the facility and housekeeping industry, having previously worked at the Tradewinds Island Beach Resort and Parrot Keys Resort Hotel in the Florida Keys.

Toni Ng

Toni Ng works on all leasing transactions and corporate matters on behalf of the company. Toni joined the Marx team in December of 2014 from the Real Estate Department at Sunoco, Inc. During her 8 years with Sunoco, she served as the Senior Real Estate Specialist where she prepared agreements of sales, deeds, affidavits & other legal documents. She also conducted closings for the Real Estate Department. Toni graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business and received her Paralegal Certificate from Pierce College.

Yelena Velichko

Yelena Velichko is responsible for processing & reviewing account receivables and account payables, reconciling account balances & bank statements, maintaining general ledger preparing periodical closing procedures for respective properties. She joined the Marx team in December of 2008 with over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate. Yelena previously formed part of the Accounting Departments for CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield and GVA Williams. Yelena graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from Tech. University of Odessa, Ukraine.
