Anthony Festa, ASA, is a Managing Director in the New York Office's Machinery & Equipment Practice of Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. Mr. Festa's responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of valuation services to the Firm's machinery and equipment valuation clients.
Mr. Festa leads asset valuations for buy/sell consideration, financing, insurance, tax reporting, and financial reporting purposes including purchase price allocations (ASC 805), impairment testing (ASC 350 and ASC 360), and Internal Revenue Code Sections 861, 382, and 704(c). Financing engagements include valuations for leasing and other structure finance transactions and bankruptcy/reorganization including fresh-start accounting.
Mr. Festa has served clients in a wide variety of industries including, but not limited to: automotive, aerospace and defense, broadcast and communications, chemicals, entertainment, financial services, food production, healthcare, hospitality, mining and milling, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, restaurants, semiconductor, telecommunications, textiles, water and other infrastructure projects.
Specific to the water infrastructure industry, he has performed valuations for several Texas-based investor-owned water and wastewater plants for a transaction, a New Jersey township for a transaction, and a New Hampshire wastewater plant for financing purposes. He is an associate member of the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) and has spoken at numerous professional conferences on the valuation of water utilities including the NAWC Water Summit in 2019.

Chris Monjoy is the Chief Financial Officer of Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. He works from the corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens in 2023, Mr. Monjoy held financial leadership positions in both public and private-equity backed companies including Wesco Aircraft and Mechanix Wear.

Ms. Armour leads the Technical Standards Committee for the national Financial Valuation & Consulting practice.
Ms. Armour has been in the valuation business since 1987. Her experience includes Fairness Opinions, Solvency Opinions and the valuation of businesses, intangible assets, and securities for financial reporting purposes (purchase price allocation and impairment), estate and gift tax reporting, equity compensation/stock options (IRC 409A), ESOPs, and litigation support.
Ms. Armour works with public and private companies in a wide range of industries. She has a great amount of experience in the valuation of entertainment and media companies and their intangible assets including film libraries and music catalogs.
Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens, Ms. Armour has served as Director of BDO's Valuation and Business Analytics practice, Senior Vice President at FMV Opinions, Inc., and Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, Inc.
Ms. Armour holds a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles. She served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Fullerton teaching a Graduate Level Business Valuation/Mergers & Acquisition Course from 2010 to 2018.
Ms. Armour holds the designation of Senior Accredited Appraiser from the American Society of Appraisers ("ASA").
Ms. Armour has been qualified as an expert witness, has provided testimony, and been a neutral third appraiser in arbitration and legal proceedings.

Mr. Gaynor has more than 22 years of consulting experience, specializing in the valuation of businesses and business interests, intangible assets, liabilities, and complex securities in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financing, estate and gift tax planning, charitable contributions, litigation support services, strategic planning, fairness opinions, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), accounting matters, and recapitalizations. Mr. Gaynor has served clients in a wide variety of industries, including the healthcare, food & beverage, restaurant, consumer products, telecommunication and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Feldman joined Marshall & Stevens in 2010. He works with public and private companies and their trusted advisors to provide valuations of businesses, equity and debt instruments, intangible assets, machinery & equipment, and commercial real estate including cost segregation studies. Analyses are provided for buy/sell consideration, financial reporting, financing and recapitalization, tax planning and reporting, insurance placement and dispute resolution.
Prior to Marshall & Stevens, Mr. Feldman successfully served in business development and operational roles within a diverse group of industries including Big 4 and other international accounting firms, retail, consumer products, and printing.

J. Fernando Sosa is a Managing Director in the Energy & Infrastructure Practice of Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. He is co-leader of its Chicago E&I region and oversees the execution of valuation consulting services to the firm's public and privately held clients.
Experience: Mr. Sosa specializes in valuation and cost estimates of tangible assets and integrated projects/facilities both domestic and international. Independent valuation consulting and opinions are provided for buy/sell consideration, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financings, financial reporting, tax reporting, bankruptcy/restructuring, feasibility, and matters of dispute including litigation support. He is fluent in Spanish and has performed appraisals for clients throughout the United States and for multinational clients in England, Spain, México, Panamá, Dominican Republic, Chile, El Salvador, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.
Mr. Sosa is responsible for the valuation of residential, commercial and industrial, community, distributed generation, and utility scale solar electric generation projects and portfolios, wind electric generation projects, stand-alone energy storage, microgrids, and renewable natural gas projects. He works with our Financial Valuation Practice on financial reporting analyses. He leads the valuation of facilities to qualify for repowering ("80/20 test").
Mr. Sosa has served clients in a variety of industries including aviation, construction, energy generation, entertainment, food processing, hospitality, manufacturing, medical imaging, plastic injection molding, retail, semiconductor, steel reprocessing, transportation, waste collection and recycle, water/wastewater treatment plants, and other infrastructure projects.

John F. Spude is a Principal and Executive Managing Director for Marshall & Stevens. Responsibilities include management of the Energy & Infrastructure practice, management of the Transaction Advisory Services practice, and participation in the Fairness Opinion and Solvency Opinion Review Committees.
Active in the valuation profession since 1983, Mr. Spude has managed and performed thousands of analyses including the valuations for public and closely held companies, the valuation and lifting of intellectual properties and intangible assets, the quantification of economic obsolescence in tangible asset valuations, and the analysis and valuation of reporting units, debt and equity securities, and tangible and intangible assets.
Mr. Spude is engaged to assist with analyses for financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, buy/sell consideration, ESOP reporting, and dispute resolution. He has provided expert witness testimony in valuations and economic damage assessments in the states of Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Texas.

John Geraghty is the National Practice Leader in the Energy & Infrastructure Practice at Marshall & Stevens Incorporated. John's responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of valuation services to all our E&I clients.
Mr. Geraghty joined Marshall & Stevens as a Director in 2018 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2020, then to National Practice Leader in 2023. Clients include independent project sponsors, infrastructure funds, utilities, and bulge bracket investors. Projects valued span from residential, commercial and industrial, distributed generation, community, and utility scale.
Mr. Geraghty has over 40 years of professional experience in the structured finance industry. He started his career at AT&T Finance where he executed his first solar project financing, SEGS VIII, in 1989. At the time, SEGS VIII was the largest solar electric generation system constructed to date. Other successful financings included projects in steel manufacturing, recycled pulp, automotive assembly lines, natural gas, and telecommunications terrestrial and intercontinental submarine fiber optic networks.
Prior to joining Marshall & Stevens, he led project development teams at Vanguard Energy Partners and Strata Solar. His hands on financing and project development experience are valuable resources to our clients.
Mr. Geraghty holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Montclair State University in New Jersey. He has been a presenter at multiple renewable energy conferences.

Mr. Mitchell has over 35 years of experience advising investors, federal regulatory agencies, and senior management on financial reporting, risk management, valuation, governance, regulation, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Mitchell has served as a director for various firms, including Parsons Corporation, Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation, Grandpoint Capital, Reis, Inc., Stearn Holdings LLC, and the Special Values Opportunities Fund LLC - a registered investment fund managed by Tennebaum Capital Partners in Santa Monica. He is a retired senior partner from Deloitte, having served as the national or regional managing partner for various practices. He was a founding member of the Board of Directors of Deloitte Consulting USA.
Mr. Mitchell earned a B.S. in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama. He served as an adjunct professor of Accounting at the University of Redlands and is chairman of the National Association of Corporate Directors, southern California.
