Brijesh Singh

Brijesh started his journey at Matix in 2014 and currently serves as Executive Vice President - Corporate Affairs. Brijesh started his career at Essar Group in 1988 by managing retail and institutional investors for their IPOs which were the largest ever at that time. Subsequently, in 1995, as Project Head for Hutchinson Telecom, Mr Singh was responsible for commissioning India's first mobile telephone networks in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh. Another prominent career milestone came in 2006 when he was involved in arranging statutory union government approvals for one of India's largest call centre and telecom projects. With Matix since 2014, Mr. Singh oversees advocacy and corporate affairs. With over two and half decades of experience in corporate affairs and managing retail and institutional investors, Mr. Singh has worked across the telecom, industrials and services sectors.

Dinesh P Singh

Mr. Singh has a deep professional experience of more than 36 years in some of India's largest fertiliser and agribusiness companies. With Matix since April 2010, Mr. Singh has contributed extensively to establishing and setting up the robust distribution network, professional marketing manpower, systems & procedures, statutory compliances and successfully implemented SAP SD Module at Matix. Dinesh was actively involved in the setup process of the greenfield Ammonia Urea plant in a cross functional capacity. Dinesh started his professional journey in 1987 at the K.K. Birla Group's fertiliser companies namely Zuari Agro Chemicals and subsequently moved onto Chambal Fertilisers where he served till March 2006. During his tenure at Chambal, he was instrumental in initiating and establishing the company's seeds program and played a key role in Chambal Public Issue in 1993. Before joining Matix, Dinesh was the Marketing Head of Indo Gulf Fertilisers from 2006 to 2010. Dinesh pioneered its transformation from a single product company to developing a product portfolio of 100+ products across the fertilisers, agro-chemicals, seeds segments as well as industrial products such as Argon and Ammonia.

Firdosh M Debara

Kapil Khandelwal

Mr. Khandelwal was a Whole time Director at Matix from Sep 2021. Earlier in 2011, Kapil was instrumental in assisting the fast-tracking of the Matix Ammonia and Urea Project and then led the takeover of the plant from the EPC Contractor for operations. He, along with his team, is credited for completing key infrastructure such as gas pipeline connectivity to the National Grid, railway siding, access roads, support infrastructure, and managing the local operating environment. A qualified Chartered Accountant with over three decades of multi-sector experience, Mr. Khandelwal has held senior positions in several large conglomerates.

Karthik Menon

Responsible for developing and initiating the growth strategy at Matix, Mr Menon comes with more than two decades of transnational experience building global businesses and brands in petrochemicals, fertilisers, Technical Ammonium Nitrate, SCM, and infrastructure. In his 20+ year career as a turnaround and growth specialist, Mr. Menon has ideated, strategised and built brands and businesses across various single-product technology start-ups to transnational diversified conglomerates. In his career, Mr. Menon has raised over USD 1.6 billion debt and over USD 450 million in equity. Before Matix, Mr. Menon was a Partner at Singhi Advisors, a renowned equity-focussed investment bank known for complex cross-border M&A deals. He has worked as President - Strategy & Business Development at Deepak Fertilisers Ltd. responsible for international growth, and was CEO at Wilson International Trading in Singapore as well as Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Sical Logistics Ltd.

Major Prashant Das Chief

Major Prashant Das joined Matix in April 2022 and is a well-respected HR professional with over three decades of experience in HR strategy, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement. Prior to Matix, He was the HR Head at JSW Steel Coated. Major Das conceptualised, rationalised potential and implemented a "lean" team plan during his tenure at JSW. His efforts in talent retention and employee engagement were rewarded with the world acclaimed "GPTW" recognition for JSW COATED, emerging as the company having highest positive perception in the Group in 2019. Major Das was the Head of HR at UltraTech RMC & Building Products Division of Aditya Birla Group over 7 years from 2007 to 2015. Manoj Mishra - Managing Director

Managing Director with Matix since September 2021, Mr Mishra has a professional experience of more than three decades in Public Sector Undertakings, and the co-operative and private sectors. Before Matix Fertilisers, between 2015 and 2020, Mr Mishra was Chairman and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Ltd, India's second largest Urea producer and the Indian government's largest fertiliser undertaking. Under his leadership, NFL transformed from a single product company to one with multiple product lines in fertilisers, seeds, agro-chemicals, and industrial products. Also, from a predominantly Northern and Central Indian marketing set-up, NFL emerged as a pan-Indian marketing entity. While at NFL, Mr Mishra also held additional charge of C&MD of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd and another fertilizers CPSE: FACT, Cochin; He was ex-officio Chairman of Talchar Fertilizers Ltd (TFL), a joint venture of RCF, GAIL, Coal India Ltd, and Fertilizer Corporation of India; and Chairman of Ramagundam Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (RFCL). Mr Mishra has been Co-Chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI), a Director on the Board of International Fertilizer Association (IFA), a Paris-based organization that represents the global fertilizer industry-the first-ever executive from the Indian fertilizer public sector to be so. Mr Mishra is Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Leading Matix since September 2021, Mr. Mishra, who has over three decades of professional experience in public, cooperative and private sectors, has brought about operational excellence and professionalism. He is the former Chairman and Managing Director of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), India's second-largest Urea producer and CMD of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited (RCF) and FACT, Cochin. Mr. Madan Agrawal is Executive Vice President (Commercial), based at Matix Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited's corporate office in Mumbai. One of Matix's earliest employees, from November 2010, Madan is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Cost Accountant (ICWAI) and fellow member of Insurance Institute of India. He used to teach indirect taxation to the students of ICWAI at their centre in Surat, Gujarat. He started his professional journey in 1989 with Essar Steel working across the functions of indirect taxation, government incentives, Mr.Agrawal, with Matix since 2010, has actively engaged in commercial procurement activities related to EPC, commissioning, finalisation, and management of technology. He manages gas supply contracts and insurance as well. He started his professional journey in 1989 with Essar Steel, and worked on projects in South America (Brazil) and the West Indies (Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana), overseeing the establishment of a steel plant and the management of a mining company. Mr. Agrawal is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Cost Accountant (ICMAI), and fellow member of the Insurance Institute of India.

A Gold- medallist in Soil Sciences from HAU-Hissar and an MBA in Marketing, Mr Lal has been with Matix since January 2022 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, & Head of Marketing looking after sales, logistics, agricultural services, import, trading, and branding related activities. Mr. Sohan Lal has a track record of over 36 years at PSU fertiliser major, National Fertilizers Ltd, which is India's second largest Urea producer and among the top 3 players in the sector in terms of revenue and market share. Starting in 1985 as a Management Trainee, Mr. Lal's stint at NFL was very cross-functional and involved diverse roles with hands-on exposure to fertiliser marketing, agri-Inputs trading, sales of industrial products, seed multiplication programs, channel development and management of rail and road logistics, agriculture extension and corporate affairs. By the end of his tenure as Executive Director at NFL, Mr. Lal had played a vital role in the transformation of NFL into a multiple product company with a pan-India presence. He has been recognised across various forums as an inspiring leader, quick decision maker and a good mentor. At Matix since December 2021, Mr. Thapar has been appointed Whole Time Director since 6th March 2023. Mr. Thapar is singularly responsible for stabilizing of plant operations and sustaining production at over 100% in a short period putting to good use his urea manufacturing expertise of over four decades. After finishing his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University, Mr. Thapar joined National Fertilisers Limited in 1982 and was based at the Bhatinda plant of NFL till 1996. He was then deputed to work with Toyo Engineering of Japan for two years and commissioned two ammonia plants in Jiujiang and Lounzo provinces in China. From 1998 onwards, he worked at various levels in plant operations, projects and technical services at NFL, Bhatinda. In 2013, he moved to NFL, Vijaipur where he was Head of Production and Maintenance for two ammonia and urea streams having a combined capacity of 3614 MTPD and 6261 MTPD of Urea. Subsequently in 2016, he was appointed Executive Director of Ramagundam Fertilizer and Chemical Limited over-seeing the build and commissioning of Haldor Tapsoe 2200 MTPD ammonia plant and Saipem 3850 MTPD urea plant. Mr. Thapar was appointed Whole Time Director on March 6, 2023. As Chief Operating Officer since Dec 2021, he is responsible for stable and continuous plant operations. Mr. Thapar, a B.E. in Chemical Engineering, joined National Fertilisers Limited in 1982, based at its Bhatinda plant till 1996. He was then deputed to work with Toyo Engineering of Japan for two years, overseeing the commissioning of two ammonia plants in China. From 1998 onwards, he worked at various levels in plant operations, projects and technical services at NFL, Bhatinda.
