Melissa Kennedy

Ms. Kennedy has diversified experience in the environmental field over the past 16 years, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, indoor air quality studies, industrial hygiene, lead-based paint studies, asbestos identification and abatement supervision, and sample collection and analysis of water, soil, and air. Ms. Kennedy has had significant experience in conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for commercial real estate. She has extensive experience in conducting site inspections and in the research of historical resources such as aerial photographs, topographic maps, city directories, fire insurance maps, regulatory files, interviews with property owners, and title information in association with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Ms. Kennedy has years of experience in water and soil sampling for commercial and government clientele. She has experience with long-term natural attenuation groundwater monitoring projects at military bases and the delineation of contamination plumes. She has been involved with several Phase II investigations for commercial clients and real estate transactions. She also has experience with water sampling for drinking water criteria.

Thad Nicholls

Mr. Nicholls has over 18 years experience in the field of environmental consulting, including performing biological surveys, field data collection and analysis, and wildlife monitoring. His specific skills are within the realm of coastal and coral reef ecology, and Living Shoreline habitat restoration and enhancement practices. Mr. Nicholls currently prepares and reviews National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation for telecommunications facilities. Mr. Nicholls has prepared numerous NEPA Reports, including compiling all necessary natural resources documentation and Section 106 Consultation for telecommunications sites throughout the United States. Mr. Nicholls has significant experience monitoring various endangered and protected wildlife species such as golden eagles, Swainson's hawk, red-tailed hawk, and live-trapping/handling of the Preble's meadow jumping mouse. He has a great deal of experience collecting and analyzing field data, including underwater data collection using SCUBA and underwater photography. His Living Shoreline work involved habitat restoration and enhancement of eastern oyster and Spartina alterniflora tidal grass habitats.

Mr. Martin has over 30 years of diversified experience in the field of environmental consulting, hazardous waste management and health and safety management. He has conducted and managed extensive portfolios of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and National Environmental Policy Act reviews throughout the United States, Canada, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Mr. Martin has been involved in studies, including but not limited to, subsurface site investigation, conservation management, wetlands delineation and permitting/mitigation, EPA and OSHA audits of numerous industrial and government facilities, underground storage tank (UST) installation, management and removals, lead-based paint studies, management and removal, asbestos identification, management and removal/abatement, and threatened and endangered species (plant and animal) identification, management, permitting and re-location. Mr. Martin has experience with all aspects of environmental issues in the industrial, commercial and governmental factions. He has provided consulting services in the areas of environmental assessments and audits, wetlands studies and investigations, endangered and threatened species (plant and animal) assessments, land surveying, construction and monitoring of solid waste and hazardous waste landfills, geotechnical exploration, foundation design, risk management, hazardous waste management, site investigation, industrial hygiene, air pollution control, toxic substance control, and environmental health. Mr. Martin also has extensive experience in managing health and safety programs. Mr. Martin has carried certifications in lead and asbestos identification, management and abatement. Tom Martin began his environmental consulting services in 1996 with the ability to offer clients a tailored approach to managing their environmental requirements. Mr. Martin has over 31 years of diversified experience in the field of environmental consulting, hazardous waste management and health and safety management. He has conducted and managed numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and National Environmental Policy Act reviews throughout the United States, including the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
