As one of the owners, Art brings a warmth and easy going approach to Menno S. Martin, and to our whole community. Putting People First is the way Art lives his life, whether providing road-side assistance to a stranger, helping a neighbour in need or inviting new friends over for dinner. He is a husband and father of one, always up on the latest fitness, food or style trend and who loves long haul motorcycling.

Eric is a dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic carpenter with 20+ years of experience. His attention to detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship are what helps bring our clients' visions to life. His commitment to quality and strong relationships with clients, trades, and colleagues, make him a true pleasure to work with. At home, Eric loves spending time with his wife and their Australian Shepherd, Willow.
After doing his high school coop placement in construction, Erik realized he wanted to follow a career path in the skilled trades and is excited to join the Menno S. Martin team as a carpenter apprentice. He's looking foward to learning from the best! Erik enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and also happens to be one of Julie's sons!
Jeff is a guy with a huge heart and a loving husband and father of three. He is talented and great at his job, but more than that, he is just an awesome guy. A devoted husband and father, Jeff is someone you want on your team. Be sure to ask him about his 81 Firebird!
Jordan is a husband and father of two, an experienced outdoorsman and mountain biker. He is a talented carpenter with a creative eye for intricate and beautiful pieces. He is a keen researcher, always ready to find the answer to anything a client needs doing. He's our resident fitness fan, a devoted family man and just great to have on site.
Larry is our 'old time master' but don't tell him that! Our clients can't say enough about how much they love him, and he goes over and above for them every time. Our staff trust him 100% and all the younger guys go to him for advice on jobs, as over the years, Larry has seen it all. He's an avid traveller and bowls a good game.
Laverne began working for Menno S. Martin in the Spring of 1965. He worked in the field for a couple of months and then Menno invited him to work with him in the office, first as a "go-fer" and then later doing material take-offs, pricing out projects and making sales calls.
In 1968 "Menno S. Martin Limited" was incorporated. Menno was looking ahead at retirement and Laverne was interested in buying in to the business. A buy-sell agreement was set up and was consummated over the next 14 years.
Laverne has been actively involved with the Home Builders' Association - locally, provincially and nationally. He has won various national and provincial awards for his contribution to the building and renovation industry. He continues to volunteer with his church and community on numerous boards and committees.
Laverne has always worked at continuing the values driven company foundation that Menno began. He has worked with hiring excellent employees and trades who could take the company to the next level. Now after more than 50 years with the company it is very rewarding to see the third generation continuing Menno's legacy.
Logan is a second generation carpenter, so for a young guy, he's ahead of the curve and understands the nuances of carpentry that can take a decade to learn. Logan came to us through the tech program at Elmira High School, and after his apprenticeship with us is now a carpenter. He is a sports fanatic and coaches soccer.
Peter started as an apprentice with us. After many years of hard work and writing the Red Seal exam, Peter is now a fully-fledged carpenter. Peter is a very likable guy, who takes great initiative and he's someone you won't ever catch standing around with his hands in his pockets! He is a volunteer firefighter in his spare time.
Scott is a deep thinker, and he loves the process of renovation, he's always 5 steps ahead. As a well-rounded carpenter, we can depend on Scott to step up however we need on a project. Plus, he is a client-favourite. (It's the smile that gets them, every time!) He's a devoted husband, father of two and loves EVERYTHING Disney!
Skilled and creative, Stephen is a talented trim carpenter who brings a lot of heart to his work. He's a father of three, a dedicated family man, and always makes sure our client's needs are completely satisfied. When he's not at work you can find him outdoors biking, hiking or camping with his family.
Stuart is a married father of 2, who truly cares about the work he does for our clients. He's an experienced carpenter who has a talent for aluminium work, and he always has a great rapport with our homeowners. Stuart is an avid mountain biker and also enjoys tinkering on bikes.

Trent's many great qualities make him a superb project manager and leader (and husband!); he is rock steady, analytical, unflappable, methodical and technical, but also creative (he loves figure drawing and urban sketching), adventurous and caring. As one of the owners of Menno S. Martin, Trent's ability to Put People First truly sets the tone for the whole team.
