Alan is a native Texan and has lived in the Hill Country for over thirty years; He raised his two sons in the Marble Falls area. He and his wife Lisa now reside in San Antonio. Alan's hobbies include salt-water fishing, golf, snow skiing and traveling. Alan brings to Mattern and Fitzgerald over 30 years of Commercial and Residential Management and Building Experience. Keeping close communication with his customers from start to finish of a project he is truly dedicated to the customer and making their experience in building their dream home the very best.
Brett Shreve was born and raised in San Antonio and has over 12 years experience of project management in home building. He enjoys working with homeowners and helping them build their dream home. You can usually find Brett on a deer lease or on a fishing boat on any given weekend. He loves spending time with family and friends and will be the first to fire up the BBQ pit! Faith and family come first with his wife, Jenny and two daughters, Brynn and Reagan.
Courtney Stevens was born in El Paso, Texas and moved to Cibolo just before graduating high school. She began her career working while attending college and perfected her abilities at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. Courtney is a proud graduate of the McCoy College of Business from Texas State University with a degree in Finance. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places and spent a semester abroad where she studied international case problems at the New York University in Prague, Czech Republic.
Dalton Lewis has lived in Texas his whole life. He grew up in a little town named Eustace, TX and moved to Boerne back in 2016. Dalton loves being outdoors and camping with his wife of 3 years Jessica and little boy Everett. He loves building dream homes and watching people's ideas come true. He has been around construction his whole life and is very hands on with anything he does. He enjoys the whole building process and interacting with homeowners.
Danny Herrera grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and has lived in San Antonio for 20 years. He attended New Mexico State University and has over 15 years of project management experience in residential and commercial building. Danny and his wife Jenn, have 2 boys and enjoy spending time outdoors. After 15 years in residential and commercial building, Danny enjoys building beautiful homes that all families will consider their dream home, which they will love for many years. His dedication and commitment to great customer service is his passion.
Graig Ponthier was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating with a Finance degree from St. Edward's University in Austin, Graig and his family eventually settled down in San Antonio where they have called home now for over 20 years. Graig spent 10+ years in the financial services industry and has worked the last 15+ years in real estate, primarily focusing on the marketing and construction side of the business. Graig, and his wife Shannon, have 4 kids and enjoy spending their time fishing and relaxing down at the coast. Graig is customer service focused and enjoys making the building process a great experience for customers.

Jamie, a long time resident of San Antonio, she enjoys cooking and vacationing to new places. Her role at Mattern & FitzGerald is important to each person on our team and to each and every client. Behind the scenes, she manages pre-construction tasks, assists with all things HOA, permitting and utility related. She is the delightful person who greets every customer with a smile and enjoys making their experience with us pleasurable.
Jason Mattern will work tirelessly to ensure a seamless and pleasant process all the way through, from the start with your design phase, to the finish with handing over the keys to your perfect dream home. Jason's experience began in college where he earned his Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M. From there he went on to obtain his M.B.A. from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. After St. Mary's Jason worked in various capacities for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Through these opportunities he was able to grow his business experience which has helped him to implement innovative procedures and systems to stream line the custom home building process. Education is very important to Jason, and consequently he has continued to grow his field of knowledge in best building practices. He has been awarded the designation of Certified Green Building Professional by the National Association of Home Builders. In addition he serves on various boards and committees, one being the Menger Springs Architectural Control Committee. All of these roles have served to shape Jason into the type of building professional that people want to work with. Family is equally important to Jason. He has been married to his wife Emily for over 21 years and is the proud father of three exceptional children.
Jose was born and raised in Torreon, Mexico. He has now been in San Antonio for almost six years. He is a graduate from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Business Administration in Finance. He is also a graduate from St. Mary's University, where he earned his master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Data Analytics. He has worked for different companies across Mexico and Texas and is passionate about bringing his expertise to create a positive impact in people's lives. During his free time he likes to teach tennis, workout, and hang out with friends.

Kevin FitzGerald is co-founder of Mattern & FitzGerald and is an active member of the Texas Real Estate Commission where he holds his license. Kevin has overseen hundreds of projects, including residential, commercial and development and served on various advisory boards concerning real estate. He holds a degree from Texas A&M University, where he served twice as a Fightin' Texas Aggie Yell Leader, Ross Volunteer and proud Corps of Cadets member. Kevin's hobbies include golf, BBQ, spear fishing, weekend projects and reading.

Marc Cary was born in California and raised in Texas, but spent most of his adult life in Alaska until moving to Boerne five years ago. Around that time he began working with M&F. Prior to this, he had spent the past 15 years working in various residential and commercial building/remodeling projects. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family as well as, building custom furniture.
Matt Courpas is a 30 year Hill Country resident who has grown up in and around building his whole life. Matt enjoys being in the outdoors and is an avid hunter and fisherman in his spare time. Matt has been with Mattern and FitzGerald for 9 years and has been a Project Manager for the last 4 years .
Mike Courpas, an Army veteran, has over 30 years of experience in residential construction. He has been employed with Mattern & FitzGerald for 13 years and excels in his attention to detail as well as developing strong and positive customer relationships. A long time resident of Boerne, Texas, Mike enjoys many outdoor activities with his three children, grandchildren and wife of forty years, a 4th generation resident of Kendall County. He enjoys kayaking, gardening, woodworking, and Hill Country drives to visit favorite spots. His love of God, family and country as well as his sense of humor, honesty and integrity make him well-loved by all who know him.
Rick has been working for Mattern & FitzGerald since August of 2013 as a Quality Control Manager. Rick and his wife and four children moved to the San Antonio area in May of 1990 where Rick went to work for B-Team Framing out of Boerne. He worked as a framer until he started his own framing company in 2003, which he ran until he joined the team at Mattern & FitzGerald. Rick takes great pride in his work and hopes it shows in everything he does.
Tina Andrie heads up the sales estimating and research process for new clients who are building specifications for their home. Working with Tina is a pleasure for our clients because of her attention to detail and genuine desire to serve others. Tina brings professional experience which includes an award-winning management career with one of the nation's largest retailers. In her spare time, Tina also serves on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization. Tina is a resident of Boerne, TX and is married to husband Mike with two children, a recently graduated son and freshman daughter. Tina's passion is living out her faith by serving her family, community and clients.

Tracey Dicks has served as our Project Estimator for over 5 years now and has developed a strong understanding for both residential and commercial construction. Her role at M&F has evolved and allowed her to solely focus on each client from the moment they call in to starting construction. With each M&F home being unique and custom, her goal is to listen to desires and important details while collaborating through the plan process - with a steady focus on communication, budget management and always seeks solutions that will be in favor to not only the expectation but quality and efficiency alike. With 10+ years in customer service and 7+ years in the building industry, she is surely the knowledgeable professional who has passion and a drive for exceeding consumer expectation. When not working at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, practicing her faith and anything that requires being in the outdoors.
