Bob Caton

Bob Caton is Past President of Caton Search, a specialist Executive Search firm, which provides a competitively priced and tailor-made recruitment service to the Infrastructure and Industry sectors. Caton Search was launched to address a specific need within these sectors where a lack of expertise in a number of commercial and technical roles have led to a very real constraint on companies to operate at their optimum performance which, with a large number of projects ongoing, has witnessed an unprecedented war for talent. Bob has an extensive knowledge of senior-level Search developed over the last 12 years. Formerly a Senior Account Manager with HSBC Rail and a Marketing Director for JGC in The Netherlands and Japan, he has an intimate knowledge of both Infrastructure and Utilities. He has an MA from Oriel College, Oxford University and an MBA from Exeter University.

Devon Anderson

Devon Anderson is a seasoned attorney, public servant, and community leader who has comprehensive executive experience in management of operations, budget and staff. Devon was a prosecutor for over 12 years at the Houston DA's office trying over 100 felony jury trials including 7 capital murders. She trained and evaluated trial lawyers and support staff while managing her own varied caseload. She also recruited and interviewed law students for positions on behalf of the office. In 2005, Devon was elected to serve as State District Judge in the 177th Criminal District Court. While serving as District Judge, Devon also volunteered her time to preside over one of four felony drug courts. In 2009, Devon left the bench and started her own criminal defense firm. Her firm's focus was on the representation of citizens accused of state and federal criminal offenses. Devon closed her practice when her husband was elected Harris County District Attorney. Governor Rick Perry appointed Devon Anderson Harris County District Attorney on September 26, 2013. In November 2014, Devon was elected by the voters of Harris County to finish out her late husband's term. For over three years, Devon managed over 600 employees and a $78.7 million budget. She created and implemented a comprehensive performance evaluation system for all employees. She also established a hiring process as well as the first job recruiter position. With Devon's depth and breathe of practical legal experience working with attorney's, she is very well qualified to help organizations find the right combination of talent and "fit." Devon earned her undergraduate and law degree from The University of Texas. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Houston Bar Association. Devon grew up in Waco, Texas. She now lives in Bellaire with her 17-year-old son, Sam, and 15-year-old daughter Brynn. They are members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Joan Hauser

Joan Hauser has worked with law firms and corporate entities for over 25 years by providing legal services as a business development leader. Functional understanding of legal processes involving accounting, expert witness, and litigation are a few of the subjects she has managed. Responsibilities also include all facets of management; human resources, financial, facilities, and marketing. Joan is a graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Management. She is a current member of Paralegal Associations in Houston and Austin and Women in e-Discovery. Ms. Hauser is a Past member of Houston Association of Legal Professionals, Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association, Houston Corporate Paralegal Association, and Past President and Past Regional VP of Association of Legal Administrators. Joan also was a member of the Advisory Committee of Bradford School of Business and retired adjunct professor of North Harris County Community College System.

Lewis W. Arend - Founder, Managing Director

Lewis W. Arend (Lew), Co-Founder and Managing Director of McKinley Arend International, has built a loyal clientele serving organizations in the United States and foreign countries. Clients continue to retain Mr. Arend to identify, evaluate and recruit key personnel for assignments for all functional positions requiring successful experience in Engineering, Environmental, Oil & Gas, Energy, Consumer Packaged Goods, Manufacturing, Biotech, Petrochemicals, Refining, Nano Technology, and Scientific organizations. Prior to entering the search profession, Mr. Arend had a successful career with two Fortune 500 Companies, Dow Corning Corporation and Armco. He attained senior management positions in sales, product marketing, and human resources, all of which included responsibility for evaluating and selecting key personnel. Mr. Arend served as Sr. Warden (Chairman) for the St. Francis Episcopal Church, Director of Sugar Land Shale; Chairman of the Energy Committee for the Rotary Lombardi Award; an Advisory Board Member of the BioMedical Technology Club; as well as, Past Member of the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Houston, National Association of Corporate Directors, member of Greater Houston Manufacturers Association, and past President of Board for Dunes of West Beach. Mr. Arend was elected as a Director for the Municipal Utilities Board in his community. Mr. Arend also was instrumental in the formation of the Houston Technology Center, a 501c3 organization accelerating the commercialization of new technology and conducted the searches for the first, second and current Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Arend earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Michigan State University. He spent two years in the US Army as a Systems Analyst for the North American Air Defense Command. Mr. Arend is married with two sons both leaders in the software business. Further, Mr. Arend continues to be active with golf and in numerous competitive tennis teams where he has earned two National titles.

Lisa Wilson

Lisa Wilson is a native Houstonian and business leader with over twenty five years of professional experience working in the private sector and public sector. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of USA Business unit for an advanced engineering consultancy within the oil & gas industry. In addition, Ms. Wilson has experience managing multimillion dollar projects for the State of Texas Department of Public Transportation and several private environmental engineering firms. Her leadership has been exhibited numerous times with the selection and management of multidiscipline talent to solve many difficult client problems. Ms. Wilson is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas and has held positions such as Partner, Vice President, and Advisor within organizations she has served. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Throughout her career, she has developed new business, developed insights and skills which transfer across several industries, to include financial risk assessment of physical assets, environmental impact, land development, structural and hydrologic engineering consulting, as well as, advanced structural engineering and computational fluid dynamics consulting.

Ms. Emilie Booth

Ms. Emilie Booth founded Booth & Associates in 1990 after working as a Human Resources Manager for a large financial institution who employed more than 2200 employees nationwide. Ms. Booth has been responsible for all human resource functions, including employee development, talent assessment, and delivery of all staff and management training programs. Ms. Booth earned a B.S. in Merchandising from the University of Texas at Austin and a M. Ed. In Curriculum Design and Development from the University of Houston. Emilie has worked with clients across Texas and the United States. As a result of this wide experience, she offers clients knowledge of industry best practices in training design, talent development and human resources management. Ms. Booth's national client base includes Fortune 500 companies and growing organizations in the for-profit and not for profit space. Market segments include financial institutions, consumer packaged goods, retail chains, oil & gas, healthcare, and energy firms.

William V. Larkin

William V. Larkin, Jr. (Bill) has chartered a successful career encompassing 20+ years in C level positions and richly varied P&L experience managing public and private corporations. He is skilled in strategic planning, as well as, developing and executing growth strategies for companies with up to $350M in revenues. With an MBA from Yale and undergraduate degree from Harvard, Mr. Larkin has aptly demonstrated his ability to improve sales, profits, market share, and position organizations for sale. As a coach to Executive Management, Mr. Larkin can share his experiences as CEO and President at companies such as Corrpro, Tuboscope, and Travis International. The cultural integration and teamwork associated with small entrepreneurial organizations, boards, private equity, worldwide operations provide a basis for effective mentoring of others, advising mergers, and establishing effective teams. Mr. Larkin developed RESPECT as a framework for building teams which stands for Results, Ethics, Safety, People, Environment, Customers, and Teamwork.
