Carter C. Stein, the son of a civil engineer and an English teacher, chose the practice of law because he believes that our system of justice, specifically trial by jury, is vital to protecting the rights and liberties of all citizens. Carter graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2000 with a B.A. in History. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2003. Carter has significant real world experience representing individuals and families in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Carter is licensed to practice in Arkansas state courts, Arkansas's Eastern and Western United States District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Carter has been an active member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association since joining the bar. He has been on the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors since 2008 and was named the 2010 Outstanding Member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association Young Lawyers Division. Carter is married to Emily Bowman Stein, who grew up in McGehee, Arkansas. Carter and Emily have two sons - Bowman and Charlie.

James Bruce McMath

James Bruce McMath is a trial attorney, legal community leader, lecturer, and advocate of the civil justice system. Phillip Hal McMath

Phillip Hal McMath is a Little Rock trial attorney, an award-winning writer, a Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran, and an ardent advocate for preserving and promoting Arkansas literature and history. Former president of McMath Woods P.A., he remains of counsel with the firm. Phillip McMath is a member of the International Society of Barristers and was named by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as one of the best lawyers in Arkansas. In a case before the U.S. Supreme Court, Finney v. Hutto (1978), he represented inmates in the Arkansas prison system. During the case, the court found that the inmates' living conditions were unconstitutional.

Sarah grew up in a military family and lived in five states before moving to Arkansas, the first place that felt like home. Sarah helps hardworking Arkansans get back on their feet after their lives have been turned upside down through no fault of their own. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Arkansas in 2008 and M.A. in English from Texas Christian University in 2010. While earning her M.A., Sarah taught a college writing course at Texas Christian University, then taught English courses at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas and third grade in Northwest Arkansas after graduation. Ultimately, the legal profession is where Sarah knew she could utilize her strengths to help the most people, and she could not imagine practicing law anywhere but Arkansas. Sarah returned to Arkansas and earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2015. She continued to teach writing during law school as a teaching assistant for legal research and writing courses. Sarah is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Arkansas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Sarah is a dedicated member of many local and national legal organizations. She serves on the Arkansas Bar Association Board of Trustees, formerly served in the ArkBar House of Delegates, planned the 2020 ArkBar Mid-Year Meeting, and served as will Co-Chair of the 2021 ArkBar Annual Meeting. For a few years, Sarah was Arkansas' young lawyer delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates. In 2019-20, Sarah served as the Chair of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association New Lawyers Network, and she presently serves on the Board of Governors and Publication Committee for the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. Sarah is married to Ryan, who is also an attorney. In her spare time, she enjoys Razorbacks athletics and exploring hiking trails across the state.

Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2003. Following his graduation, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked in various political capacities. In 2007, Tim moved to Little Rock to pursue a joint masters/law degree at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service and William H. Bowen School of Law. After law school, Tim practiced with a nationally prominent personal injury attorney specializing in automotive and tire product liability litigation. He then worked in risk management, managing litigation and providing coverage analyses for insurance syndicates based in the Lloyd's of London market. Tim then practiced with a large, regional insurance defense firm providing civil litigation defense. In 2015, he founded Hodge Calhoun Giattina, PLLC, where he helped build a flourishing general litigation practice. Tim primarily focuses on civil litigation, probate litigation, and domestic relations. Tim lives in North Little Rock with his wife Annie and their two daughters. A former college athlete and sports fan, Tim plays tennis, golf, and basketball, and most Fall Saturdays you can find him watching college football. Education University of Notre Dame
