Dr. Habib Sadeghi is an Attending Physician and Clinical Facilitator at UCLA Medical Center and Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.
He is a member of the Physician's Association for Anthroposophic Medicine and International Post-Graduate Medical Training for Antrhoposophic Medicine.
An active member of the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation and American Holistic Medical Association, he is devoted to the advancement of wellness through research, and the dissemination of nutritional and environmental information that impacts our health and healing.
Elaine DeLack, Founder and CEO of MedDEV, inc. has developed and patented treatments for multiple sclerosis, depression, bi-polar depressive disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. Her theoretical and study results regarding her treatment research for multiple sclerosis has been published in the scientific journals Multiple Sclerosis Clinical and Laboratory Research, and the Alternative Medicine Review. Harsha Murthy is a senior financial and pharmaceuticals/biotech executive with extensive experience in operations, finance, strategic planning, business development and licensing in a variety of corporate settings.
Mr. Murthy currently is managing partner of Consummate Capital LLC, a New York City-based investment and advisory firm that sources and structures the acquisition of generic and branded pharmaceutical products for its clients.
Mr. Murthy most recently served as co-founder and managing partner of Konanda Pharma Partners, a New York City-based private equity fund that invested in branded and marketed specialty pharmaceutical products and built portfolio companies to make and market those drug products. At Konanda, Mr. Murthy led the acquisition of major products from "Big Pharma" companies such as Roche and Shire and formed multiple portfolio companies (including hiring operating management) to market and grow the pharmaceutical assets Konanda acquired.
Prior to founding Konanda, Mr. Murthy served as Executive Vice President and Corporate Head- Strategic Planning and Business Development for King Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a vertically integrated branded pharmaceuticals company with over $1 billion in annual revenues, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (KG) and which is a S&P 500 Index company. Mr. Murthy was responsible for all of King's mergers, acquisitions, in-licensing, partnership and investment banking relationships. In this capacity at King, Mr. Murthy identified, led and closed a number of significant transactions including King's strategic partnerships with Palatin Technologies and Pain Therapeutics, divestitures of several of King's late-stage products, and acquisitions of product rights from "Big Pharma" across a number of therapeutic areas. John A. McCarty started his career as a Quality Control Manager for a cardiac heart pacer manufacture with responsibility for testing and release of incoming materials and finish products. He cut his teeth in pharmaceutical product development at KEY Pharmaceuticals starting with transdermal patches.
Over the last thirty years he has held management positions in Research and Development at Key Pharmaceuticals, Schering-Plough, and Pharmavene (acquired by Shire). He is the founder of PPI a consulting/product development firm that assists pharmaceutical and biotech companies in developing their therapeutic compounds into drug products for toxicological, clinical and commercial applications. His last staff position was as Vice President of Formulation Sciences and Drug Delivery at Azopharma Contract Pharmaceutical Services.
He is known for his broad expertise in the development of all major and novel dosage forms and is an inventor on over 17 U.S. and foreign patents. Complete resume

Paul Appel is Sr. VP of Business Development for MedDEV, Inc. Previously, Mr. Appel was a successful business executive in the energy Industry. He graduated with an engineering degree from Montana Tech in 1975, and then joined ConocoPhillips, where he held a variety of positions over a 28-year career. Following early retirement from Conoco, Mr. Appel has worked as a business development and project management consultant, and then more recently as VP of Operations for an independent oil and gas producer.
During his 35 year working history, Mr. Appel has held a variety of engineering, business development and senior management positions. As such, he is well versed in business development, contracts, planning & budgeting, project development, and asset management. He has a proven track record as a successful "team" builder and people motivator. He is a bottom-line, financially focused leader and manager.
Mr. Appel has held business development positions responsible for both U.S. and international growth opportunities. His business development portfolio includes successful entrance into new project opportunities in the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Europe, the Middle East, China, Japan, and Korea. He has also managed, with full cost and profit accountability, multi-billion dollar assets/business lines in California, West Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, the Rocky Mountains, as well as in Canada, Venezuela and Norway.
Mr. Appel has worked most recently for a small start-up energy company in Texas, managing business development and operations with focus on a cost conscious growth strategy. This company, Pyramid GOM, Inc., now owns and operates assets valued at more than $50 million.
With MedDEV, Mr. Appel's responsibilities include both business development and business management for this start-up bio-medical company. He is also a member of the MedDEV Board of Directors.

Dr. Smith has a doctorate degree in physiological psychology. He was the senior research scientist at American University's Center for Research in Social Systems. He was responsible for research of psychological operations for the Pentagon and CINPAC.
Dr. Smith also was the Chief of Research at D.C. Government Mental Health Administration and has held the position of senior scientist for private corporations.
