Soon after establishment, Metal Mechanics began building special machines needed by Kalamazoo's many factories. The ability to build special machines lead to the first press, built in 1971, for a local die caster... Now concentrating solely on hydraulic presses, primarily for the metal casting industry, Metal Mechanics, Inc. has become the benchmark for metal trimming presses amongst the die cast industry. By focusing on quality and value, trimming presses have been sold and delivered to over 260 different die casting companies over the last 51 years.
