Aaron A. Fox

Aaron has been a regular lecturer and presenter at various continuing legal education programs. In 2002 he was presented with a Saskatchewan Legal Education Society volunteer award. In 2011 he was the Si Halyk, Q.C. Visiting Scholar in Advocacy at the University of Saskatchewan. He received the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association Outstanding Lawyer Award in 2017. He also is an Advocacy Advisor for the Supreme Court of Canada Advocacy Institute. Aaron Fox was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1978. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1997 and inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2001. He has been recognized by "Best Lawyers" in the Criminal Defence area since 2006. His primary areas of practice are criminal law, professional discipline, and regulatory defence. He is Chair of the McDougall Gauley Defence Team.

David J. McKeague

Dave served as a member of the McDougall Gauley LLP Executive Committee from 1975-2012, when he was appointed co-chair of the firm. He was appointed senior counsel January 2017. Nancy Hopkins is a highly experienced business lawyer with emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, complex contracts and corporate governance. Her M&A experience includes transactions with public companies, private equity firms and strategic buyers. She has served on boards of public, Crown, membership and charitable corporations. Nancy currently serves as a director of a number of corporations. She is a member of the board of the Canada West Foundation. She chairs the board of Arthritis Society Canada. Among her other past board service, Nancy served as a Director on the Board of Governors of the University of Saskatchewan from 2005-2013, serving as the Chair of the Board in the last three years. Nancy also sat on the Board of Cameco Corporation (CCO on the TSX; CCJ on the NYSE) for 24 years, and, in that time, chaired the Compensation Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Governance Committee. She served on the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board for 9 years; during part of that board service, she chaired the Governance Committee. She served on the Board of Capital Markets Implementation Authority, to work toward a national securities regulator for Canada.

Scott is the co-chair of our Labour and Employment Team. He assists businesses, non profit organizations, and individuals with all of their labour and employment questions. His files include wrongful dismissals, human rights claims, workplace harassment, occupational health and safety matters, employment standards complaints, arbitrations, and collective bargaining. Scott has been a guest lecturer at the Edwards School of Business and at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law. He has also presented at Innovation Place and done many CLE presentations in the past.

He is a long-time member of the Board of Directors of the Saskatoon and Region Home Builders' Association. Bill was also involved in the development and preparation of iterations of the Credit Union Act and Co-operative Associations Act. He participated in regulatory hearings when the Public Utilities Review Board was operating. Bill has volunteered for over three decades locally, nationally and internationally in the sport of water polo. In 2005, the Aquatic Federation of Canada placed Bill on the President's Honour Roll and in 2008 he was awarded the Paragon Award for Water Polo at the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
