Cameron S. Merrill

Cameron joined Merrill & McGeary as an Associate in August, 2012. His practices focus primarily on real estate litigation, real estate transactions and all aspects of condominium law. Cameron also oversees Merrill and McGeary's Landlord Tenant practice and routinely defends individual clients and Condominium Associations in Municipal Code enforcement hearings. Cameron also represents individuals in matters before the MCAD, Division of Professional Licensure and other administrative agencies. Cameron's practice also includes zoning, licensing and development permitting, primarily in Brookline and Boston. Cameron graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut with a B.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Political Philosophy. After college, Cameron attended New England Law Boston while working at the Law Offices of Robert Allen, Jr. in Brookline. Starting in 2009, Cameron worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. In that position, Cameron prosecuted a wide variety of cases from drug and gang related offenses to large scale white collar embezzlement. Cameron served as an elected Brookline Town Meeting Member for 4 years before moving from Brookline to Boston. He continues to support Brookline's civic associations and is active in several charitable and nonprofit institutions and Trinity College Alumni groups. Cameron is a Director on the Brookline Chamber of Commerce (Co-VP Legal/Government Committee Chair), Member of the Town of Nahant Zoning Board of Appeals, former Member of the Nahant Board of Assessors, Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Community Associations Institute, and the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts. Cameron's bar admissions are Massachusetts and United States District Court, District of Massachusetts. Cameron has lectured on behalf of the MCLE regarding Condominium Law and the Creation of Condominiums.

Daniel McGeary

Dan McGeary is a 3L student at New England Law | Boston. He has been a Dean's List recipient in every semester and was a member of the New England Law Review. Dan graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

Michael W. Merrill

Michael Merrill's law practice concentrates on all aspects of real estate and condominium law, including litigation in all courts. Merrill & McGeary represents clients who engage in real estate transactions including individuals, developers, and lenders. A substantial part of Merrill & McGeary's practice involves condominium law, primarily representing condominium and cooperative boards. Michael is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association as well as the Community Associations Institute, New England Regional Chapter. He has frequently lectured and taught seminars on condominium law, and has written articles for condominium industry magazines on the subject of condominium law. Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in political science in 1973. He received his J.D. from Boston University in 1977. After two years defending American military personnel in military tribunals in Germany, Michael formed Merrill & McGeary in Boston in 1979. He has been practicing in Boston since that time with his partner Rita McGeary, who also concentrates in real estate law. Michael has been active in politics in the Town of Brookline, where he has resided since 1973. He was a long time Town Meeting Member and has served four terms as Selectman (1982-1985, 1990-1996, 2004-2007), serving three years as the Chairman of the Board. He also served as president of the Chamber of Commerce and served on several Town of Brookline Committees, including the Town's Celebration Committee, which organizes and supports the annual Flag Day parade and road race. Michael is active in charitable and nonprofit institutions, including the Chou Chou Merrill Tuition Grant, The Bette Davis Foundation, the Gary Merrill Memorial Foundation, Inc., Friends of the Boston University Libraries, the Howard Gottlieb Archival Center, the Brookline Senior Center, and Brookline's Little League.
