Since 2005, my leadership roles within Meduri Farms as Safety Coordinator, Human Resources Manager, Operations Manager and now currently Facilities and Regulatory Manager have all given me exposure to one of our greatest assets, our employees. Each day we ship our fruit to customers around the world, and I am always thoughtful of the fact that the business we do with our customers enables us to provide good jobs for our employees. One of my most memorable experiences was when Meduri Farms provided new backpacks and school supplies to the children of more than 300 of our employees. I was so fortunate to see the smiling faces when the kids came in with their parents to pick up their backpacks and school supplies. This is one of the many great things about Meduri Farms, and I am excited to be a part of the new projects and initiatives that will help us continue improving on what we do.

I remember watching my mom and dad grow and dry our families' cherries. They had such pride for the quality of fruit we produced, and this pride was instilled in me. When I was in high school, I shared in their work by helping in the orchards and working in the drying plant during the summers. I worked alongside the Sales team and eventually started our catalog business, Meduri World Delights, while attending Western Oregon University. I began my new role as President in January 2015. I am committed to leading the next generation of Meduri Farms through many years of plentiful harvests and new discoveries which will contribute to the evolution of the dried fruit industry.

Joe Meduri retired from the business after 30 years spent growing the family company into an industry leader and global supplier of specialty dried fruits. The second generation of Meduri's assumed responsibility for the business: Dominic Meduri (President), Justin Meduri (Orchards Manager), and Mario Meduri (Operations Manager). Additional acreage was purchased on which more blueberry fields were planted. Joe Meduri learned the food business from his mother and father while growing up in Campbell, California. Joe attended Cal State Chico and upon graduating with a degree in Finance, he began working for a maraschino cherry processor with operations in California and Oregon. This is when Joe began learning the business of fruit processing.

My career with Meduri Farms began at the age of 13. I managed various positions throughout the company before finding my passion for our cherry orchards and blueberry fields. This passion led me to my current role as Orchards Manager, which I have been thrilled to oversee for the last 18 years. I've taken great pride in the quality of fruit that our company grows and produces. I'm also proud to be a part of the rich Willamette Valley agricultural community. It is an honor to grow fruit that is supplied to our customers around the world. I am grateful to be a part of the endless possibilities that exist for expanding distribution of Meduri Farms' products as we continue to grow.

During the harvest of 2001, I officially committed to Meduri Farms full time by leading the fresh to frozen processing operation. As our company has grown over the years, my role within Operations has grown as well. Recently appointed Operations Manager has given me the opportunity to work with an incredible team of employees. I am very proud of how hard everyone has worked to expand our business to customers and products which are sold all around the world. I am extremely excited about the new innovations we will be unveiling and the future opportunities they will bring.
