"Mark Landolf should have a cape because he literally came to the rescue for our home remodel! We were first time renovators with a unique, old home in Walnut Creek with great potential. We learned the hard way -- initially thinking we didn't need an architect; and so instead we hired a contractor to help us "design and build" our home. That was a bad decision on a number of levels, and rendered us stuck for months (driven largely by our poor choice in pros). We met Mark and immediately knew that he could help us. With his help, we took a step back to make sure we were investing into a beautiful, functional, well-designed home. It was a fairly small assignment for his depth of capabilities, but his involvement made a huge impact. He was thoughtful, he listened, (and it was fun to see the designs in 3D!), and respected our budget parameters.
