Genevieve is a northern Colorado native and grew up on a dairy farm near Eaton. She began her paralegal career in 2007. After working in family law for 11 years, she transitioned to personal injury litigation in 2018, where she discovered her passion for helping people who have suffered unfortunate and life-changing injuries. Outside of the office, Genevieve is an avid hot yoga practitioner, an accomplished musician, and enjoys riding motorcycles and adventuring in our beautiful state of Colorado and beyond.

Janet Ritz was raised in Dallas, Texas and received her Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988. Thereafter, she attended St. Mary's School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 1991 and went on to practice personal injury law in the Dallas and Houston areas. In 1999, Janet's family moved to Fort Collins to be closer to her husband's family. She joined the Metier Law Firm as the practice manager in 2009. In her spare time, Janet enjoys hiking, camping, boating and spending time with her husband of over 30 years and their three grown children.
Janie was born and raised in Windsor, Colorado. After graduating from Regis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business she worked in medical billing /coding for about 15 years. While working at Poudre Valley Hospital as a Legal Accounts Representative, Janie found her passion for legal work and pursued a position as a paralegal. For the last 9 years Janie has worked exclusively as a personal injury paralegal. When she is not working, Janie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, dancing and watching classic movies (English and Spanish), especially all the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers.

Janine was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1988 she received her doctorate in chiropractic from Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina; thereafter, she moved to Michigan and opened a private chiropractic practice which she operated for over 20 years. In 2017, Janine and her husband moved to Fort Collins to be closer to their son. In her spare time Janine enjoys reading, walking, hiking and spending time with her family.
Jessica grew up in Colorado and graduated with a B.A. in Social Work from Colorado State University. After spending five years in Dallas, Texas, she moved back to Colorado and joined the Metier Law Firm in 2012. She is excited to be a part of the great Fort Collins community again. In her free time, Jessica enjoys doing anything adventurous, especially if it involves family, friends, good food and Broncos football.
Joe Chenchar is a fourth generation Wyoming native who attended the University of Wyoming for both his undergraduate studies and law school. He joins the Metier Law Firm with six years of experience in state and local government law. Over the years, Joe has most enjoyed building strong relationships with his clients and helping them achieve great results.
Joe is a compassionate and methodical lawyer who puts his work and his clients before himself. Joe's clients can expect to work with an advocate who diligently fights for them when they need it most.
Joe is licensed to practice law in Wyoming, Colorado and Oregon and is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
In his spare time Joe enjoys volunteering with local nonprofits, reading, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their dog.
Kim grew up in LaSalle, CO and went to Valley High School. After raising her son, Trevor, and daughter, Amanda, she worked in banking and in a medical office, and as an administrative assistant. Kim started working at Metier Law Firm in March 2013 and is excited to be part of the Law Tigers team. When Kim is not working, she enjoys camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, motorcycle riding, and spending time with her children. She has two dogs that love hiking with her on camping trips and keeping her entertained.
Raised in Aurora, a job in hotel management took Kris to the South, with stops in Kentucky, Florida and Georgia. It was in Georgia that Kris went to work as a legal assistant at one of Atlanta's premier personal injury firms. He has been assisting accident victims for 13 years. Kris is an active member of his Church. He loves spending as much time as possible with his nieces and nephew. He likes to run, read, and is an avid sports fan.

Tom is the senior managing member of Metier Law Firm, LLC. A native of Iowa, Tom graduated cum laude from Coe College and received his doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Iowa. Licensed to practice in Colorado, Wyoming, the U.S. District Court-District of Colorado, the U.S. District Court-District of Wyoming, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court, his national practice consists of a diverse range of practice areas including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, trucking accidents and motor vehicle accidents.
