Anne Evans studied flute in Edinburgh, Vienna, and London. She has played all over Europe and the Far East. She performs at the highest levels of music making in Scotland. In the late eighties Leonard Friedman discovered her latent talent as a pianist. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, playing in Stravinsky's 'Ebony Concert' with Chamber Jazz, in duo recitals with her husband, Dick Lee, and performing the Mozart and Beethoven Quintets for piano and wind with 'North Winds'.

Karen Wimhurst is the founder of The Cauld Blast Orchestra. She first came to prominence as the composer in association with the theatre company 'Communicado.' She has been commissioned to write music by festivals and ensembles throughout the UK
Philip Contini trained as a chorister under Arthus Oldham and George Farmer, and sang with Scottish Opera and the Edinburgh Festival Chorus. Under the guidance of Margaret Aronson, he has established an Annual Edinburgh Festival concert of his unique interpretation of Neapolitan songs which he sings with 'striking emotional intelligence...passion flows from him...he is a genius...' (The Scotsman).
