Angela G. Huskey - SVP

Angela G. Huskey, PharmD, CPE is creating change as our nation faces the critical public health problem of escalating substance use. Stemming from her personal experience of caring for a loved one with a substance use disorder (SUD), Dr. Huskey has made it her mission to help improve the care of patients suffering from pain, mental illness, and addiction. Today, that passion, combined with access to talented colleagues and the latest research, has continued to push her to excellence in these areas of medicine. Dr. Huskey recognized the opportunity to engage her team in harnessing the data available through Millennium Health's analytics platform to create real-time trend reports identifying emerging drug threats. Using urine drug test (UDT) results to monitor the shifting landscape of drug use allows clinicians, first responders, and those responsible for public health to be quickly informed about these changes to help prevent overdoses and save lives. In collaboration with her team and recognized clinical experts, Dr. Huskey formalized this data-driven approach through the creation of a nationwide initiative called the Emerging Threat Intelligence (ETI) Program™. Dr. Huskey's goal for this program is to provide meaningful, real-time insights into dangerous and evolving trends in drug use nationwide and use these findings to aid the development of rapid health responses.

Darrell W. Contreras - Chief Compliance Officer

Darrell W. Contreras joined Millennium Health in 2015 as Chief Compliance Officer and oversees the Corporate Compliance Program, and reviews and evaluates compliance issues or concerns within the organization. He is a licensed attorney with extensive health care compliance experience. Prior to joining Millennium Health, he founded and was a partner of JD HealthCare Partners, LLC, a compliance and risk management consulting firm where he worked with physician practices, health care clinics, health care clearinghouses, and clinical laboratories on legal, privacy, risk and compliance matters, including, HIPAA Privacy, assessments, training, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, preparation and response for state pain management clinic laws, standards, regulations and inspections, responding to Department of Health and Board of Medicine inquiries, and incorporating laws and regulations into existing operations. Contreras began his career as a consultant for Ernst & Young's Health Sciences Advisory Services practice, where he assisted hospitals and health care organizations with the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate compliance and HIPAA Privacy programs. He later served as the Chief Compliance Officer for two large health care organizations, for which he was responsible for compliance, HIPAA Privacy programs. A recognized expert, Contreras has spoken on compliance and privacy related topics to several professional organizations including the Health Care Compliance Association National Compliance Institute and Florida and Puerto Rico regional conferences, the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, the Florida Association of Pain Medicine, and the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has been published in health care compliance journals for topics related to compliance and privacy and serves as a member of the Compliance Certification Board Exam Committees for the Certified in Healthcare Compliance Fellowship (CHC-F), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), and Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC). He is on the faculty for the Health Care Compliance Association's national Compliance and Privacy Academies. Contreras earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Southern California and is an active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona. He obtained his risk management certification through the University of Florida and is licensed by the State of Florida as a health care risk manager. Contreras holds compliance certifications through the Healthcare Compliance Certification Board in the following: Certified Healthcare Compliance Fellow (CHC-F), Certified Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), and Certified Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC).

Dave Henderson - VP

Seasoned IT professional with over twenty years of experience within a diverse range of industries including healthcare, media and non-profits. Henderson has a proven track record of success in strategic planning, technology development, cybersecurity, and product commercialization. In his role as CIO for leading Life Sciences company, Millennium Health located within San Diego's biotech hub, Henderson recently oversaw the successful development and implementation of an intuitive online drug test ordering platform that will transform the way clinicians improve patient care and ensure compliance. This innovative new technology leverages over 10 years of laboratory excellence proprietary data intelligence and clinical expertise to offer comprehensive insight to benefit patients, payers and customers nationwide. Henderson has a demonstrated history of affecting broad-scale transformation across complex organizations, resulting in increased strategic advantages while reducing expenses. Previously, Henderson was the chief information officer at GenomeDx Biosciences where he led the digital transformation of the company's business processes. Prior to that, he was the chief information officer at Sequenom Inc., where he was part of the executive team that commercialized their ground breaking non-invasive prenatal diagnostic test. He also held leadership roles CBS Corporation and Paramount Pictures Corporation, supporting world wide global IT operations as well as several mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Henderson is a member of the San Diego State University Fowler College of Business, Management Information Systems Advisory Board and of DocuSign's Healthcare and Life Sciences Advisory Board. He was also a past winner of the San Diego Business Journal's Top Tech Awards, 2015 Small Public Company Category.

Jeffrey Bush - SVP

Jeffrey Bush has over 30 years of experience in diagnostic, medical device and clinical laboratory industries, and applies his expertise to the development and implementation of market access and business development strategies as they intersect at the point of healthcare product commercialization. He has a proven track record as a leader across the industry managing substantial portfolios within start-up, mid-sized, and Fortune 200 companies. Bush leads Millennium Health's business-critical market access efforts, working with both payers and providers to ensure all parties' voices are heard. He and his team draw on their decades of payer engagement experience to focus on supporting clinical utility amid the constantly changing healthcare landscape. In addition, Bush leads his team of market access professionals to work with stakeholders to make sure professional clinical guidelines and recommendations are incorporated into payer policies to meet patient care needs. Prior to joining Millennium Health, Bush founded, built and led a successful consulting practice serving clients in the medical device, diagnostic testing, pharmaceutical, and clinical laboratory markets. He has a deep understanding of major worldwide healthcare payment systems, honed through years of hands-on, practical experience and study, which he has leveraged to inform a variety of business development strategies and actions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPO preparations, spin-offs, entity valuations, and incremental value creation for existing products. Bush earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from California State University, a certificate in Cytotechnology from Loma Linda University and an MBA from Colorado State University.

Kristen Baker

Kristen Baker has played a fundamental role within the sales organization at Millennium Health since 2010. Prior to joining the company, she spent ten years providing direct patient care within the physical therapy space for post-surgical care, with a strong emphasis on handling complicated and elaborate worker's compensation situations. Her experience and passion for helping others, combined with her desire to make a positive impact on patient care led her to Millennium Health, where she plays a key role in educating customers regarding the importance of drug testing and in turn, reaching those in need of our services. Watching so many individuals struggle with substance use disorder through both a professional and personal lens, combined with her experiences of treating patients facing daily chronic pain, has sharpened her focus on ensuring that we are providing best in class testing services to clinicians across the country. Over the years, Baker has climbed the ranks within the sales team. She started as a Sales Representative in the Southeast area and quickly progressed into leadership roles, including positions on both regional and national levels. An energetic and cross-functional leader with vast experience within the diagnostic space, she understands the inner operations of each department within the company, which has allowed her to develop and oversee a strong, collaborative and extremely well-educated sales force. As Senior Vice President of Sales, Baker is responsible for providing the strategic vision for the national sales force and marketing department. This includes sales methodology, brand messaging, outreach campaigns and brand development initiatives. Baker's sales abilities and leadership have been recognized both within and outside of the healthcare space. She has been asked to speak as a keynote for a national franchise on the Philosophy of Sales and has provided a series of educational webinars for a global executive coaching firm with topics including the sales funnel, closing, body language, and customer service. She also serves on the Steering Committee of the Women at Millennium Health (WAMH) affinity group and is co-chair of the Leadership and Mentorship committee. Baker has her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of South Alabama.

Neil Thomas - CFO

Neil Thomas has significant experience in enhancing organization's performance through results-driven financial plans and continuous operational improvements. Thomas also has strong leadership experience with a passion for team member development. In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Thomas is an integral member of the Executive Leadership team. In addition to overseeing the Finance, Accounting, and Billing departments, he will manage the Supply Chain and Logistics teams to enhance and streamline operations. Thomas will also work closely with the Sales organization to help ensure continued profitability and growth. Thomas most recently spent over three years as the CFO at Novasyte Health leading the Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Payroll functions before ultimately leading the sale of the organization to a Fortune 300 company. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at AMN® Healthcare. Thomas held various finance and operational roles at the organization culminating as Sr. Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy. Thomas is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and received his bachelor's degree from James Madison University.
