Mill End Store is a fabric experience unlike any other. Since 1918, we have been Oregon's longest running & most expansive family-owned textile emporium. Originally, one of the very first worsted wool companies on the West Coast, we outfitted soldiers in WWI & II, and provided the worsted yarn for many of Carl Jantzen's early knitted bathing suits... We specialize in old fashioned sewing expertise and customer service. Despite not having an online store, we serve customers all over the world via phone & mail orders simply on our reputation to have it all. Many customers even make special trips to Portland just to visit our store from all over the country. Our customers span from professional costumiers for movies & TV shows to nationally recognized fashion designers to quilters to interior designers to the novice sewer. We welcome them all!
