Dan Mindrum, the son of Paul Mindrum, went to college at Whitworth College in Washington State. He went to work at Mindrum Precision in 1972. He has worked in most departments over his 45 years at Mindrum. He now works primarily in the optics department trouble shooting blocking, lapping and polishing. Dan's favorite quote is "While variety is the spice of life, in manufacturing it is the enemy." His daughter, Heather Mindrum is part of the third generation at Mindrum Precision. She is currently getting a BA in business administration at the University of La Verne.
Dan Mindrum, Paul's son, began working at Mindrum Precision in 1973. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in the technical development of our lapping and polishing expertise. He is currently the Optical Manager for our Lapping and Polishing Departments and a member of our Board of Directors.

Diane Mindrum, Paul Mindrum's daughter, started working for Mindrum Precision when she was 7. She graduated from UC Riverside and taught school for several years. In 1985 she came to work at Mindrum Precision full-time. Paul Mindrum said if she got her MBA she could be CEO, so she did. She graduated from the University of La Verne in 1992 with her MBA. She has been CEO ever since. Diane's favorite quote is "It's a lot easier to get people to work when you pay them instead of giving them grades."
Diane Mindrum, Paul's daughter, began working at Mindrum Precision in 1985, with the intention of being groomed for a leadership role, and assuming the mantle of the President. She stepped forward into that position not long after, and has been the driving force in the growth and progression of the overall business ever since. She is currently our CEO and the Chairman of our Board of Directors.
Paul officially retired in 1992; Diane and Dan have since led the company into exciting areas of advanced manufacturing, while maintaining the successful core competencies that their Dad originally established.
The time will soon come again to pass the torch. In anticipation of that, the third generation of the Mindrum family has already begun working for their Grandfather's company, and will ensure that the company continues to prosper for generations to come.

Paul Mindrum retired from Mindrum Precision in 1992 but was active in the company for many years following his departure. Sadly, he passed away in 2012 but his legacy lives on and he continues to be the inspiration for the organization.
