Althea Rothmeyer knows a thing or two about life's big transitions. Throughout her husband's military career, she has traveled extensively and lived in several different states. As such, she can easily relate to the myriad issues and concerns that go hand-in-hand with buying and selling a home. It is that personal experience, as well as her professional background, that continues to inform her relationships with her clients and has helped her achieve successful results over the course of her 20 years in real estate. Althea earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Boston College.
She was offered a job as the Manager of their Financial Aid Office and promoted to the Accounting Analyst for the Student Loan Office. Althea always had a passion for decorating and decided to earn her certification from the Rhode Island School of Design. She decided to make a career change and along with her colleague, opened a successful decorating
shop in Medfield where she later became sole owner. As a decorator, Althea spent many hours inside people's homes, helping them realize their design objectives. So it wasn't such a stretch to transition from helping clients beautify their home to helping clients find their dream home.
