Minn-Iowa Agency was founded by John Keister in 1976. The office started in Elmore, Minnesota with a three person staff: Orville Stensland, Jan Ehrich and John himself. At that time, the agency sold Property & Casualty and Life Insurance. In 1979, John purchased the Blue Moon restaurant in Blue Earth, Minnesota and remodeled it. In the spring of 1979, Minn-Iowa Agency moved to Blue Earth... Minn-Iowa Crop Insurance is one of the most experienced agencies in southern Minnesota/northern Iowa with well over 160 years of combined experience.
