After serving in the military for three years in an administrative capacity (as well as gaining expertise as a sharp shooter), Gina put her skills to use in commercial property management and has been in the business for over three decades, 17 of which have been with MK (talk about dedicated service!). "I am a "lifer" because of the great group of folks I work with and my wide variety of duties. My job is never dull and I am never bored!" Gina applies her detail mindedness (sometimes called "pickiness") to good use in her assorted responsibilities, including Lease Administration, Tenant Processing, running the MK Master Insurance Program, accounting functions and the annual vendor contract process. In her off time, Gina likes getting her hands dirty in her garden, reads mystery fiction and enjoys taking a leap into the unknown traveling to distant tropical places with her husband.

Lara Pharmer has been a Real Estate professional for 30 years, specializing in management and leasing of commercial properties. The past 12 years have been with MK Property Services, where she presently oversees the management, leasing and marketing of 27 retail centers in Washington, Oregon and Colorado. Lara considers her client's interests her top priority and is fully committed to developing long term relationships. This is realized by providing the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service. Marcey has been a real estate broker for over 10 years, specializing in commercial property investing and management. She has a keen understanding of the synergy between the property owner and the tenancy. Getting this mix right is her specialty, and leads to more profitable long term ownership and happier long term tenants. In her spare time Marcey enjoys playing competitive tennis and has raised a family with 4 wonderful children.
With over two decades in the real estate industry, I bring a diverse background in commercial leasing, operations, and property management. I began my career in residential real estate before joining MK Property Services in 2003 as an executive assistant. Over the years, my role evolved to encompass commercial leasing, tenant administration, landlord representation, marketing, office management, and technology implementation. Since stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2011, I have led company-wide operational improvements, implementing streamlined processes, upgrading key systems, and enhancing client and tenant experiences through digital innovation. In addition to overseeing daily operations, I remain actively engaged in commercial leasing, transaction coordination, and lease document preparation while providing strategic support to the company's leadership.
Originally from Washington, D.C., I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in communications. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with my dogs and family.
"Do what you love and love what you do" - I am a determined lady with a lot of drive; I love challenge and fast paced work. I have been passionate in everything I have taken on in my life. For the last quarter century I have been the Controller for MK Property Services, LLC, while not my first rodeo, it will forever be the capstone of a long and varied career. I am privileged to work with fun and dedicated professionals who know their craft and are amongst the best in our industry. I love family, food, friends and lots of fun, abundant fresh air and exercise. Travel is a high priority; I have never tired of the view beyond each mountain and what is being prepared in every kitchen at home and abroad. With just under 200 countries in this world I am thrilled to have experienced the magic of visiting 112 of them. I am eager to see what the next 20 years at MK Property Services holds for me.

Looking back over my career of nearly 30 years in real estate, I am humbled for the opportunity and bounty of my career. From the time I started as blank slate with the most colorful mentor in the business, Basil Vyzis, to this moment, not a day has passed that was not filled with challenge, intrigue and unlimited possibility. I started MK Property Services, LLC in a spare bedroom, dawned a suit every day with coffee in hand, faced a quiet phone and brick by brick, built MK. Some days, I now lean back in my chair, close my eyes and just listen to the orchestra of endless incoming calls and cacophony of my colleagues solving every problem and igniting the day's opportunity. I am a fortunate and fulfilled man. I have had a lifelong passion for bicycling, travel and living life at full throttle. Most of all, I have enjoyed the lifelong anchor of my work, serving others and building a house that now provides shelter for many. The most satisfying part of my MK experience is the lifelong friendships that have emerged from my work; my MK colleagues who've toiled alongside me to the many clients and professionals who've shared the ride. While looking forward to the bounty of tomorrow, I enjoy every day at MK and I am grateful to have lived in a time and place where hard work, craft and ingenuity are so well rewarded.
Stephen initially put his Accounting degree to use in the banking industry, but has been in the commercial property management business for 30 years. Stephen has been with the company for 9 years as part of the MK Accounting Team and takes his number crunching very seriously. Along with his many other duties, he is also a stickler at obtaining proper tenant insurance. Stephen has a double major degree in French and History, is well-traveled and is an avid history buff. He also enjoys gardening during his time away from the office.

Forward thinker longing for the day science fiction meets real world when it comes to aeronautics and communications. Favorite move line is "I've got to get me one of these!" from Independence Day. Trish puts her imaginative thinking to work in her role as a Property Manager and Broker seeking solutions to complex real estate and management problems we face every day. Trish attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, pursuing her degree in Political Science. After college Trish accepted a job as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm. Although she loved the work, she chose to relocate to the Northwest after her daughter was born where she took a position with a large home builder and was given the task of creating its HOA Department. In her role as HOA lead she was responsible for drafting legal documents for planned community homeowner associations, acting as liaison between Development, Risk Management, Construction, Warranty, Quality Assurance, and Home Sales Departments. Trish also presided as President of the respective Home Owner's Board until completion of the planned community and transition of the board to homeowner control. During her career, Trish has worked in various environments with different individuals and groups and has developed a work philosophy wherein productivity and efficiency is the product of remaining positive, being persistent, staying on point until a project is complete and finding the right amount of imagination to solve issues. Trish feels fortunate to be working at MK, a company that allows her to bring all of her skill sets to the table, hone them, and apply them to the challenging, fast-paced, industry of Property Management and Brokerage. Trish is a very proud mom of a 25 year old daughter, and takes free license of her parental bragging rights. She contributes to a global human rights organization in the hopes that her contributions will make a positive difference in the world. She has an appreciation of the performing arts, enjoys writing, science fiction, and action- adventure movies. She loves living in the Northwest at the base of the Cascade Mountains and appreciates the seemingly limitless offerings of alpine lakes and hiking/bicycling trails while being in close proximity to the City of Seattle and the Puget Sound.
Scorpio - aka ‘Number Guru' at work, clean freak at home, critical thinker by day, novice wine taster by night. Val moved to the Seattle area from New Mexico in 2000 after earning a BS in Mathematics. Seeking employment, Mike interviewed and hired her, and she has been with MK Property Services ever since. She wears many hats at MK, but her ability to create order out of chaos is what makes her one of a kind. She can take what would be a jumbled mess of data to most, and turn it into some meaningful financial information for analysis. In her leisure time, some of Valerie's favorite things to do include playing pool, being with her husband and visiting with family, attempting to golf, and winding down by doing puzzles. Her favorite travels include a visit to Jamaica and Cancun - to her, Disneyland would be a nightmare. Her favorite thing to eat - just about everything! But on the flip side, Valerie also enjoys working out and staying active. One aspect of her life she is most proud of is her daughter. "Being a parent and raising a child is not easy. When they grow up and exceed your expectations with who they have become, it is the most rewarding accomplishment ever."
