Jeff DeJoode

Jeff was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and grew up on a farm and working in his family's agribusiness. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University in 1983 and his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1989. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Iowa. In general practice in Macomb since 1989, Jeff's fields of practice include, but are not limited to, commercial law, litigation, employment law, appellate law, business law, estate planning, real estate and elder law. He has taught criminal law and procedure to Law Enforcement and Justice Administration students and business law at Western Illinois University.

John McMillan

John was born in Macomb, Illinois, received his undergraduate degree from Knox College in 1972 and obtained his law degree from Stetson University in 1975. John and Doug March founded the firm of March and McMillan in Macomb, Illinois in 1979. John is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida. John has served as General Counsel for McDonough Power Cooperative and McDonough Telephone Cooperative for 40 years. John primarily represents farmers, farm owners and farm businesses and devotes the majority of his time to estate planning, estate tax planning, business planning, probate matters and real estate transactions for farm families. He also represents banking institutions and serves as General Counsel for Colchester State Bank and the State Bank of Industry. He has extensive experience with farm real estate transactions, tax-free exchanges, tax disputes with the IRS and multi-generation estate planning for farm families. John currently serves on the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Industry and the WIU Foundation.

Ryan Baxter

Ryan was born in Macomb, Illinois and graduated from Macomb Jr. Sr. High School. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Missouri in 2007 and his law degree from the University of Louisville in 2014. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Kentucky. In general practice in Macomb since 2020, Ryan's fields of practice include, but are not limited to, commercial law, business law, estate planning, probate matters and real estate.
