Len C. Mueller - Founder

Our team leader, Len C. Mueller, is a Wake County native. Following her graduation from North Carolina State University in 1982 and Campbell University School of Law in 1985, Len Mueller was asked to join the firm of legendary lawyer Russell W. DeMent in 1987. Len C. Mueller graduated in 1982 from North Carolina State University with a B. S. in English, and graduated in 1985 from The Campbell University School of Law with her J. D. She has been practicing domestic law in Wake County since that time. Ms. Mueller was certified as a specialist in the area of family law by The North Carolina State Bar in 1994. Ms. Mueller is also certified as a Family Financial Mediator. Ms. Mueller credits her former law partners, prominent local attorneys, Richard ("Rick") Gammon and Russell W. DeMent, for her success as a trial lawyer. She can often be heard saying that she had the privilege of being in partnership with two of the best lawyers in North Carolina, if not the United States. Ms. Mueller also benefited from the sound mentorship of the Honorable Anne B. Salisbury with whom she worked prior to Judge Salisbury's election to the Wake County District Court Bench. In 1996, Ms. Mueller left the familiarity and comfort of this partnership to open The Mueller Law Firm, P.A. Since that time, her Firm has had the privilege of serving hundreds of clients in all areas related to family law, including child custody, alimony and complex equitable distribution cases. Ms. Mueller served as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University School of Law for seven years teaching Family Law Planning. She is a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations, and the Family Law Section of the N.C. Bar Association. Additionally, she has served on the N.C. Bar Association's Family Law Council.

Madeline Hurley

Originally from Rougemont, North Carolina, Madeline is a proud graduate of Appalachian State University. She went on to attend Campbell University School of Law where she was awarded a merit scholarship. Madeline received an honors distinction for her work in Campbell's Client Counseling course. During law school, Madeline was an extern for North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Paul Newby and Senator Jim Davis. Madeline also served on the Campbell Law Pro Bono Council where she coordinated the Education Law Pro Bono Project. Prior to joining the Mueller Law Firm, Madeline worked at a boutique family law firm here in Raleigh. Madeline was selected to the 2020 Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. Only 2.5% of lawyers in the State receive the honor of being named a Rising Star. Madeline is an active member of the Junior League of Raleigh and serves as a chapter advisor to Kappa Delta Sorority at North Carolina State University. She enjoys spending time with her family and her two black labs.

Madison Davis

Madison joined The Mueller Law Firm in May of 2021. She grew up all over the world as the daughter of a military officer, but now calls Raleigh her home. She graduated from NC State University with a degree in Political Science and a concentration in International and Comparative Politics with minors in French and International Studies. While at NC State, she served as a University Ambassador, a Study Abroad Ambassador, Vice President of Community Service for Kappa Delta Sorority, Vice President of the Society for Politics, Economics, and the Law, and studied abroad in Lille, France.

Mary Caitlin Henricks

Mary Caitlin joined The Mueller Law Firm in May of 2019 as a Law Clerk. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated with a Communication, Public Relations (BS) degree from Appalachian State University. During her time in the High Country, she served as a board member for the Appalachian State University Student Conduct Board, a mentor for the Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program, and worked for the Student Football Recruiting Staff as their Public Relations Coordinator. She was an honor student every eligible semester and held membership in the Gamma Beta Phi Honors Society. Mary Caitlin graduated from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in May of 2021. While not at work, she enjoys traveling to the North Carolina coast and spending time with her pets Urban and Snowbell.
