MST - Key Persons
Angela Griner became managing partner of MST in January 2021. In this role, Angela focuses on firm-wide growth and innovation to improve and broaden the services we provide to our clients. Angela continues to work with clients and specializes in assurance and tax advisory services. She works extensively with a diverse group of privately-held clients in the construction, manufacturing, distribution, automotive, and technology industries and with private foundations.
Angela joined the Firm's executive management committee in 2015. She previously served as the director of assurance for ten years, where she was responsible for the Firm's overall audit quality. Before joining the Firm in 2003, Angela worked four years with a privately held distribution company in Athens, Georgia where she acquired significant industry experience.
Angela graduated from the Honors Program with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master of accountancy with a tax concentration from the University of Georgia. She is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
When not working, Angela enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with her family.

Angie is the managing member (partner) of MST's Coastal Georgia office. She graduated in December 1999 from Georgia Southern University with a master of accounting and a bachelor of business administration degree. Since graduation, she has continued her professional development through attendance of continuing professional education courses and seminars sponsored by MST, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and other professional organizations. These courses have covered accounting, auditing, individual income tax, corporate income tax, estate taxation, as well as other topics.
Angie has been with MST since January of 2000. She has worked extensively with nonprofit entities including publicly supported entities and community foundations. She also has experience in working with privately owned businesses, closely held corporations, and governmental organizations. Since joining the Firm, Angie has gained valuable experience in the areas of auditing, accounting, and income tax returns.
Angie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, having also served as president of the local chapter of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves as Treasurer for the Board of the Glynn Community Crisis Center. Angie is a graduate of Leadership Glynn and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants' Leadership Academy.
In her free time, Angie enjoys fishing, traveling, shopping, and being a mother to her two daughters.

As CIO of MST, Barry provides solutions for the design, implementation and application of information systems. Much of his work focuses on helping clients and staff apply technology to increase efficiency and lower costs.

Chris is a specialist in tax advisory and compliance, financial modeling and analysis, and transaction structuring services. Chris's practice focuses on assisting businesses, business owners, high net worth individuals, and legacy generations to maximize after-tax profit generation and retained wealth, efficiently acquire and dispose assets and activities, and fulfill recurring financial and tax reporting and compliance requirements. Chris's client base includes a substantial presence in the real estate, private equity and international sectors and includes numerous pass-through entities, such as partnerships, LLCs, S corporations, and trusts.
Chris has over twenty years of experience and graduated magna cum laude from West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration (BSBA). He received his master of accountancy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Chris joined MST in 2009 after ten years in the tax department of a Big Four firm. Chris also worked as a regional accounting supervisor at Georgia Pacific Corporation and as the controller of a family owned multi-state convenience store and fuel distribution business.
Chris is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and is active in the Tax and Real Estate Sections. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on its Tax Practice Guidelines and Checklist Committee.

Chris specializes in tax consulting, compliance, and planning services. In particular, these services include researching, developing, and implementing tax minimization strategies for clients from a broad range of industries. Chris has experience in working with closely held companies, manufacturers, multi-state companies, real estate companies, professional service companies, and high net worth individuals.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Chris graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2002 with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting (magna cum laude) as well as a master of accounting. Upon graduation, Chris joined MST's Coastal Georgia office. Chris currently serves on the Firm's executive management committee.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and The Georgia Society of CPAs, where he is a past president of his local chapter. He is also a graduate of Leadership Glynn and the GSCPA Leadership Academy.

Greg is a specialist in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. In his role as business advisor, Greg consults with clients on a number of strategic matters, including structuring, acquisition of financing, benchmarking, productivity, and strategic tax planning.
Greg's practice includes a substantial presence in the nonprofit sector, including a specialty in private foundations ranging in size from $10 million to more than $500 million in assets.
Before joining MST in 1989, Greg spent five years with the Emerging Business Group of the firm of Deloitte & Touche. In 1996, he was admitted to the membership of MST. He currently serves on the Firm's executive management committee.
Greg, a native Atlantan, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of Georgia (magna cum laude) and an MBA from Emory University. He is involved with many charitable and community organizations and serves on the board of several, including the Georgia Gwinnett College Foundation, the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. He has recently served as a speaker to several groups (including the Southeastern Council on Foundations and the State Bar of Georgia) on various topics of interest to nonprofits.

Gretchen's practice is concentrated in the planning for tax transactions and the implementation of those plans. She has extensive experience in working with individuals, trusts and estates, business organizations and high net worth individuals. An Atlanta native, Gretchen is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1986 later followed by a Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). She has been with MST since 1998.
Outside of work, Gretchen enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with her family, and is an avid supporter of Camp Sunshine and Cure Childhood Cancer.

Jill's practice is concentrated in the tax compliance area. Her clientele ranges from individuals to nonprofit organizations to businesses in a wide variety of industries. She joined MST in 2006.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jill worked over fifteen years for a local Atlanta CPA firm where she was exposed to all types of taxation. She gained valuable experience in individual, corporation, fiduciary, and partnership taxation.
Jill graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting in 1990. She was the recipient of the American Society of Women Accountants scholarship award, the Golden Key Award for Scholastics, a member of Beta Alpha Psi scholastic society, and was the Pledge Class President of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority at GSU.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Society of Accountants.
In her free time, Jill enjoys shopping, movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Kevin is an Associate Member and Director of the Business Advisory Services. In this role, Kevin oversees a team that works with business owners to deliver financial information to help them make informed and timely financial and operational decisions. Kevin is proficient in a number of cloud technologies that allow clients the opportunity to outsource their accounting functions to MST.
Prior to his current role, Kevin was an audit manager with MST for 14 years. In 2012, Kevin took an opportunity to work in industry as a VP of Finance for 4 years before returning to MST in 2016. Kevin has worked with clients in a number of industries, including wholesale/retail distributors, professional service firms, golf courses and recreation facilities, colleges/universities and other non-profit organizations.
Kevin is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1997. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).
Mike Zahariades is a partner at RPA and is the Director of Sales and Marketing. In his role Mike consults with Financial Advisors, Plan Sponsors and Plan Providers to assess their retirement needs and provide retirement solutions for small to mid-sized companies. Mike also works with Financial Advisors and Plan Providers to develop sales programs and marketing campaigns to educate Plan Sponsors on different plan design features, benefits for their participants and on the operational and administrative benefits of utilizing a local TPA. Mike's goal is to grow RPA's client base through strategic partnerships with Plan Providers, Financial Advisors and Plan Sponsors throughout the southeast.
Mike has over 23 years of retirement plan industry experience. Mike's prior work experience includes eight years with Transamerica as VP & Director of Sales for their MEP platform he has also worked with their TPA program. Prior to Transamerica, Mike had spent eight years with John Hancock working with their TPA distribution channel and four years with Mass Mutual as a regional wholesaler selling their RMAP TPA program.
Mike lives in Alpharetta with his wife and three sons. He enjoys playing tennis and golf, you may also occasionally see him playing his guitar with a local band around Atlanta.
