Founder Denise Chamberlain is a hospital CFO and Master's prepared educator with over 30 years of experience as both a healthcare finance executive and a professional teacher and educator. Denise completed her BS degree with honors from Purdue University, her Master's in Education specializing in Adult Education and Training, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a former Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen & Co in their worldwide headquarters for healthcare in Dallas, TX. She is a member of the ACHE and HFMA. At AA&Co, Denise assisted in development of training classes, and trained staff both around the US and Europe. Since founding her company in 2010, Denise has trained hospital leaders in every hospital department including managers, Directors, VPs, CNOs and CMOs. As a hospital CFO and finance executive, Denise has always understood that finance is a foreign language for most non-finance staff, and has written a book and designed and developed training classes. The classes assist non-finance leaders with understanding finance, mastering daily and monthly financial management tasks, as well as preparation and management of capital and operating budgets. She routinely speaks and teaches classes to both financial and non-financial hospital leaders.
