While Moores Valley Nurseries was established in the late 1960's, it wasn't until it was sold to the Fletchers in 1995 that its reputation increased and it was turned into Wellington's leading plant nursery, well known for reasonably priced, high quality and hardy plants... Our staff members are very knowledgeable and are happy to help you with your queries. Several staff members have completed horticultural apprenticeships and have gained National Certificates in Horticulture, and we also have staff currently in the middle of training. New staff are encouraged and supported in studying towards this Certificate. In addition our General Manager also won the 'Horticultural Young Achiever of the Year' award making him, at the time, the youngest recipient of the award...
